.::~Power: A Jumper and Push Crossover~::.

Kinda a continuation of my old and first(and oddly somewhat successful) Jumper RP. So if you were in the first Jumper RP(the first one to grace this site, which was made by ME) then you can use an old character…and even have some of the memories of the past.

Previous Story

Basically, the Paladins made experiments in attempt to kill off the Jumpers, it went wrong and they escaped although a few were still kept under control and were used to kill the Jumpers. I’ll explain them in their own subsection.

Story

Even since the medieval ages, there have been a rare few that posses supernatural abilities; abilities that to some, are an affront to God. The most noticeable displays of power were that of Jumpers, witch hunts started by an organization of “Paladins” were made in order to eradicate the Jumpers. The Paladins are a group of religious fanatics that believe that only God can be everywhere at once and that the Jumpers should not exist because of their ability. The Paladins are even trained to sense the “Jump Scars” created when a Jumper uses his or her teleporting ability.
That’s not it though…these abilities don’t stop there, others who don’t have the ability to Jump may not have to worry about the Paladins…but there is a power government sector called Division which is meant to capture those with abilities and turn them into soldiers. After their several failed experiments of trying to enhance the abilities of other super powered humans, they gave up and focused on capturing them.
Both Division and Paladins have been losing their battles, their previous leaders either being shamed or killed. In a desperate effort to turn the tables on the ones that have eluded them for so long they have joined forces. Division, realizing how useful Jumpers would be, decided to use their best Pushers(I’ll explain later) to force the Paladins to change their beliefs just enough so they would not kill any Jumpers they run into.

Powers

Movers: have telekinesis; they are able to move objects, including living organisms, without touching them. Sufficiently skilled movers are shown to be able to deflect bullets.
NOTE: Don’t completely abuse this. Seriously.

Pushers: Can "push" specific thoughts, memories, and emotions into their targets. This technique can be used to gain a subject's trust or to make them perform any action, even suicide, without question.
NOTE: If you want this power, I will decide if you are worthy of it. If say change it, then don’t complain or I won’t let you join.

Watchers: They experience visions of the future and typically record their visions in sketch books. Watchers can read a target's intentions, meaning that they can know what a person has decided to do before they actually do it. The future is typically not static; when a watcher becomes directly involved in the events he or she foresees, those events tend to change more rapidly. A Watcher's skill is primarily rated by how far they can see into the future.
NOTE: A watcher can’t see an instantaneous future…like, anticipating the attacks in a fight. Don’t use it like that. D<

Bleeders: Have the ability to emit high-pitched sonic vibrations that cause potentially fatal ruptures in a target's blood vessels. These vibrations can also damage inanimate objects.

Sniffs: When in possession of an object, they can see either the object's history or the current whereabouts and activities of the object's owner. Depending on the individual sniff and the situation, he or she may see images related to the target or they may receive a directional sense of the target's location.
NOTE: Your basic tracker. 8D They either smell or touch the object for their power to work.

Shifters: Can transmute objects on a temporary basis. The object can remain in its changed form even when no longer in the shifter's possession, but it will eventually revert.
NOTE: The object they shift has to be of similar size and shape to the one they want to shift it to!

Wipers: Can erase memories. They can erase specific events or specific durations of time.

Shadows: Are able to shield an area from detection via other powers. It is generally believed that a shadow can only block detection by sniffs, but it is discovered that a sufficiently powerful shadow can also hide a target from watchers.

Stitches: Can heal injuries. They may also be able to reverse previous repairs made by other stitches.

Jumpers: They have the ability of teleportation. The can go anywhere that they have seen. They can even follow another Jumper through the Jump Scar left behind.
NOTE: Don’t use this to randomly insert your character EVERYWHERE. D<

Blockers: A semi-original power by me. They have the ability to stop or restrain the powers of others.

Experiments: The results of DNA testing by the Paladins. They were in a very early stage and “flawed” in many ways, most having mutations that made some resemble animals and have certain traits of them. The experiments ceased after the first batch of experiments escaped. The ones that were escaped were tracked down and killed while some stayed and served under the Paladins.
NOTE: They don’t really have any powers other than enhanced physical abilities. So don’t make them Jumpers or anything like that. >>;

Affiliations

Paladins: They now work for Division. They’re mainly trained to track and kill Jumpers. They carry a form of tazer with them at all times. Their only “power” is the ability to sense Jump Scars. Paladins have even made a device that keeps Jump Scars open for an extended period of time so they can follow a Jumper.

Division: Usually one with a power of some sort being forced to work as a soldier. Currently, there are no Jumpers in Division(so don‘t make a Jumper character in Division). They work for the government…

4. The year and setting of this RP is, THIS year…and…ehh…you can use regular cities. Nothing too fancy or made up though.
5. Be somewhat realistic with your posts.
6. No constant one-liners. Please. Please? Oh! And have good grammar. I’m pretty damn sure I have OCD and…I’ll rip you in half I see constant spelling errors.
7. Use quotations when speaking! Don’t be like this:

At least put something like, “Hi, I’m Bob.” He said.
8. Don’t use *’s for actions.
9. I reserve the right to add more rules at ANY time, so don’t complain.
10. Post, “Force” in your first post if you’ve read the rules.

12. Last one for now. Be original for your character! Not everyone knows how to fight or is an orphan. That doesn’t mean I won’t accept you if you chose one or both for your character…but PLEASE…I like seeing original stuff!

Bio: Alaric’s always used his powers for whatever he wanted. He once stopped a bank robbery. Several months back, he even attempted to take down a Paladin base…by himself. It didn’t end to well but he had “fun”. Although he’s decent when it comes to a fight, Alaric prefers to “hit-and-run” due to his lack of actually fighting skills. He owns an apartment which he pays the rent using “borrowed” money or winnings from gambling.
Personality: A bit of a womanizer(brings back memories…><), overconfident, makes too many jokes, and only gets serious when someone’s in trouble.
Other: Has caused quite a lot of trouble for the Paladins, more so than…nearly every other Jumper, yet he still manages to get through weeks without getting found.

Bio: His memory was modified by Nicholas when he was abducted right from within his High School when he was 14. Unlike other members of Division, Grey received special treatment and was trained to the extreme to be a power hunter and capture any with special abilities. Although, due to unusual circumstances, his memory has to be constantly “pushed” in order for him to remember his true past.
Personality: Cold, harsh, quick to act, always knows what to do. When he shows signs of regaining his memories, he’s somewhat nice.

Preview Post: Leon reached for the candle stick when he heard someone coming and used his shifting power to change it into a much more bat like shape but it retained its colour, texture and size. He swung it down as the door opened and someone stepped through. Hitting the stranger on the head he instantly made a run for it and got out of the building quickly.

Preview Post: Marcus walked into the room wearing a typical business black suit. He sat down at the table and rested his arms on it and crosses his fingers into a lock as he leaned forward on the table. He looked at the person oposite him and began to 'push' thoughs into his head with the slightest tilt of his own head. The person wrote down something on a piece of paper then handed it too Marcus. Marcus nodded his head to his assosiate and then a gunshot was fired into the man who had been 'pushed' for information as Marcus left.

Bio: She was stolen from the hospital after she was born by the Paladins. They experimented on her DNA, and used her to try to capture Jumpers. She escaped the Paladin facility with help from Alaric several months ago. Now that the Paladins are working with the Division, she is determined to help stop them.
Personality: Easily irritated, but friendly for the most part. Headstrong, has a sense of humor.

Norah opened her eyes as she felt the sun seeping in through the window. She rolled over and pulled the blankets up over her head. Not now, she thought groggily. Just as she was about to fall back asleep again, the alarm clack went off. "ALRIGHT!" she shouted and slammed the switch on the clock.

Bio: Leon, or as he now likes to call himself for hiding reasons Stone, helped out Alaric when he was in trouble with the Paladins and Experiments in the past before disappearing to learn full control of his powers seeing how he would suddenly loose control now and again.

Preview Post: Stone walked down the street keeping too himself as he noticed some obvious threats otherwise seen as Paladins. For some reason they stood out, the trench coats was what give them away. Stone walked on noticing they weren't following as he got far enough from them to 'jump' to safety.

Preview Post: There was a gentle breeze that evening as rain drizzled down to the ground. Terri, being half asleep, was sitting under a umbrella that a cafe used to cover one of their outside tables. Bio: She always had visions since she was a young kid and when she told her parents about it, they took her to a doctor. She hated how they wanted to 'cure' her so she stopped speaking to anyone. Of course her parents worried, but after a while they got tired of it and gave up on her, letting do whatever she wanted and totally ignored her. As a reply, she began to hate them as well and started to have visions of them dying; which she thought were dreams and desires at the time until it came true. Now she lives in a foster family who tries their best to make her talk again.

Bio: Violet doesn't really use her power as much. It's kind of rare when she does use it. She has encountered a few Paladins but was able to escape before being killed. She lives on her own and tries her best not to run into anymore Paladins.
Personality: Violet has always been a very independent person. She doesn't really like asking people for help only if she REALLY needs it. Since she's very independent, she's very shy when meeting new people but she's able to get around her shyness.

Preview Post: Violet threw herself onto her bed, tired even though she didn't do anything today. She put her arms on her forehead, closing her eyes, hearing nothing but silence in her house. Bio:Reyna has grown up in a family that cared for her very much and never worried about. But what they didn't know was that she could talk to objects. She speaks very little, for she feel words are useless, but will have some of the best conversation once you get her going. Not one to burst into a fight but analizes her opponent while fighting. Hana quietly stared into the corner of her room, thinking to herself softly as she patted subconsciously behind her for her cat. Once she felt her kitten, she turned around and smiled at it. Getting up, she went to her table in her room, and placed the kitten on top of the table, allowing it to wonder about whilst she drew.

She then snapped her pencil in anger when she saw a stain on the sheet made by the cat.

Kira walked along the street, looking for a cheap food vender. She hated hot dogs....oh, a peanut stand! She quickly bought a bag of peanuts, eating them as she walked along the street. Watching everyone, everything. A stranger could be an enemy, a familiar face could be a spy. The peanut bag now empty, she threw it in a nearby trashcan and kept walking her head down.

Nicholas tapped his fingers impatiently against the large wooden desk in front of him, leaning to the side as he stared at a door. After finally growing tired of waiting, he rose from his large chair and walked around his desk, adjusting his coat as he opened the door and exited his office. He moved over towards one of the Division members, wanting a bit of information that he had not recieved yet.
"Where is Grey? He's late. He was supposed to have come back half an hour ago." Nicholas said, a bit of anger in his voice.
"Sir, h-he...left a message just now saying his plan is-" The man stuttered, being interrupted quickly by his superior.
"Why didn't you report this sooner?" Nicholas hissed.
"He just gave the message right no-" He was cut off once again by Nicholas.
"Get on with it!"
The frightened man nodded quickly before continuing. "He's just about to start his plan. He reported that headaches slowed him down."
"Get back to work." Nicholas growled, the man turning around and nearly making a run for it. Headaches? It must be time to refresh his memory again. He tapped a hand against his leg and sighed. Let's see how many he'll get.

Grey ran a hand through his dark hair and stared down at a notecard in his hand, it having several addresses written down on it. He had lied about the message he had left for Division. He actually didn't have much of a plan other than hunting down the powered individuals one by one. Not like it would be hard for him, one of the most dangerous Movers.
"Alright. Who to start with...?" He asked himself, aiming a finger at the card and prodding each name. "Terri, Violet, Kira...Abigal...Alaric..." He looked down at the other names on the list and bit his lower lip in thought. "It would've been easier to chose from these if I had done a background check on them." He closed his eyes and randomly pointed to one of the addresses. Opening his eyes, Grey saw who he had chosen for his prey. "This'll be easy."

A loud buzzing echoed throughout the apartment, followed by a groan and a soft thud. A tall raven haired male lifted himself off the floor and slammed his fist against the clock's sleep button. He yawned loudly and stretched his arms out, popping his neck as well. "Ugh..." He slowly opened his eyes and moved sleepily towards his window, pulling the curtains away and wincing when the sunlight hit his eyes. "Ow! What time is it!?" The male glanced over at his battered clock, taking note of the time. He blinked and raised an eyebrow. "10:30 AM...? I woke up early..." He yawned once more before heading over towards his bathroom, barely looking at his messy reflection. His hair was a complete wreck, standing out in several places. As the minutes went by, he managed to clean himself up enough to look "decent" and got dressed, tossing his white t-shirt to the floor lazily and switching it for his black shirt before pulling his hoodie over it.
"There!" He exclaimed, still tired. The male took one last look at his reflection before stuffing his apartment keys(which he didn't actually need) in his pocket. Walking out of the apartment, he saw a girl right across the hall step out as well. He waved at her, thinking that she was what someone would call cute. The male took a step towards the left, staring at her and not noticing a small crack on the floor which caused him to trip. The girl laughed at him and walked away, giggling.
"Stupid floor made me look like an idiot..." He muttered, pushing himself off the floor. This...was Alaric.
