    The only anime I've ever watched on my own, without being influenced or told to watch it, was the Dragon Ball series. I watched Death Note because my friend told me to, and I started watching Code Geass because of Jube.

    Weeeell.... I heard a lot about Death Note but I chose to watch it on my own, Naruto I watched because I felt like such a moron not knowing who Sasuke is. But the only one I've watched on my own is Loveless, I still don't know why I watch it! Shounen-ai WTF!

    same... all my friends are against anime because most of it "cant really happen" or "it doesnt exist"... except one of my friends who is obsessed with them i guess...
