I really have to start reading Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

As expected, I'm basically useless. Am I at least immune to the sensory negation/dulling?

Hey, I said basically useless. I can probably use my Stand to deprive particularly environmentally friendly villains of power.

 

I haven't figured out who the JoJo is yet. BUT! I did figure out who the villain is. It's Takyon by virtue of having a Stand with a time related power.

Stand Name: Miracle of Sound
Power(s): Your stand can absorb sounds in such a way so they can not be heard when a target produces them, or it can limit the radius of sound spreading, no matter how loud it is. Miracle of Sound can process and replay the absorbed sounds like a recorder. If it absorbs enough sound it can release it as powerful energy waves to attack. Your stand can also install a small volume knob on a person or an object and turn it off. The knob then vanishes and the victim is left completely unable to produce any sound, be it talking, knocking or doing anything that normally makes sound. The effect lasts until the victim is dead, you are dead or until Miracle of Sound installs another volume knob and turns the sound back on.
