I'm so afraid of what could this mean.

 

All I'm going to say is that they better get rid of those stupid HM moves. I hate having to give my favorite guys on my team some stupid move just because I need to get past a rock or some shit.

They could replace them easily with things like a flashlight for flash or the character could learn martial arts for strength and move rocks themselves.

 

I don't mind the HM moves, i just don't like how many of them there are.
I was alright with the first 5 (except for Flash, that was just gay)

 

EVERY? How the hell will it still be pokemon then? ._.

 

Seems fun, but I still don't know what Heartgold and Soulsilver is about.

A great way to solve the HM problem would be to just make them removable and not permanent moves. HMs would still be reusable and won't break after you use them but you can actually delete the move if you don't want your Pokemon to use it anymore. Also I forget but I think there is a person in the game that can remove moves for you? So maybe the HM problem doesn't need to be fixed.

It's the fact that I have to get rid of one of my moves that's the problem. I don't want to get rid of a move that I really like/need for one I'll use for a second. Especially if it's a move I can't buy at a store as a TM.

 

It would be cool if hm's didnt count as actual moves. Like, a pokemon could still learn it, but it would be an "ability," like the way a shitload of other rpgs work.

 

For that matter, nix them entirely and make all the Pokemon that could learn them before able to use them because it's an attribute of the Pokemon. I'm pretty sure my Tentacruel doesn't need to learn Surf to know how to swim, it fucking lives in the water.

 

Doing it this way would be so much better. I always thought it was stupid to teach my Lapras Surf.

Maybe swimming isn't the same thing as swimming while supporting weight, just saying.

 

Yeah, because chewing gum and walking is insanely difficult.

 

Lapras should be able to do it and alot of other water pokemon should be able to as well. Would work better if the ability is only available after a certain level or evolution so you can't skip a gym and go to another one.

 

Maybe surf isn't really just swimming, it's more of teaching it the ability of how to let you ride it. Every horse has to be broken in.
