Pokemon: A New Journey

"keep dreaming" Seth said to Tai walking in the lab

 

Albard walked slowly down the mountain, chatting quietly to himself. "I suppose if Albard is planning on becoming a trainer, he better get a starter pokemon. What Sort Shall Albard get? A bulbasaur has a nice voice, but is impractical. A Charmander is too heated for Albard. Albard thinks he should get a squirtle, because squirtle are slippery, and perhaps Albard can use it to travel across the sea. Yes. A squirtle for Albard."

Continuing his mad ramblings, he turned towards pallet town. It was in the opposite direction to the way he was going, and the mountain trail would take another hour to complete. "An arm for an hour? An hour is important. Albard would not want to miss an hour. An hour spent walking could be an hour spent training."
The man turned to the cliff edge and stared down into viridian forest below. He thought for a second longer, then took a step back and hurled himself off the cliff face. He hit trees, until he finally landed in a clearing, on top of an old man in a white coat, with a smile on his face, and an arm at an odd angle.

 

"Alright!" Ivy said. he took out a tray with 5 pokeballs. A pokemon came out of each one. Chimchar, Piplup, Turtwig, Riolu, and Starly

Tai smiled

"Choose!" Ivy said.

Tai looked at them.

"Riolu" he said.

Ivy went over to a box to take out a riolu.

The Riolu on the tray looked at Ivy and back at Tai. It jumped on Tai playfully.

"Hey hey hey!" Tai said suprised.

Ivy laughed "i guess he wants to be with you!" he said. "If you want you could have him..."

"Alright!" Tai said as he picked up the empty Pokeball his Riolu came from.

Then suddenly a pokeball came out of the box and opened up showing a riolu

"You will get back in your ball now!" Ivy said. "The last thing i want is you to be with a trainer."

Sarah watched.

"Whats with that riolu?" She asked Shen

 

"Dunno" Shen said and walked up to the Riolu and bent down to look at it

 

Albard's eyes flickered open to a concerned Professor Oak leaning over him. "Are you okay?" the elderly face asked. "I saw you jump. What on earth possessed you to do a mad thing like that?"
Albard stared for a second, then replied, "Doing that saved an hour's walk for Albard."
"Are you Albard?" The baffled professor questioned.
"Yes. Can you please give Albard a starting pokemon?"
Oak's eyes lit up. "A starting pokemon? Certainly. You seem a bit old to do this sort of thing, but no matter. Bulbasaur, Squirtle or Charmander?"
"Squritle." Albard uttered emotionlessly.
Professor Oak tottered away, and Albard looked around for the first time. He was in a lab, everything was white and clean.
"Here you go Albard, a squirtle. I apologize, but I am fresh out of pokeballs. The only type I have are these ancient ones."
Oak held out six water bottle shaped objects, all grey with a screw top lid. Albard picked one up and examined it curiously. "Hmm. Albard Thanks you."
So saying, Albard gathered the old fashioned Pokeballs and walked outside.
He treaded over to the grass, then slowly plucked five strands, and began platting them together. When he was finished, he tied it to the first pokeball, and slung it over his shoulder. He platted more strands, and tied it to another ball. He slung this one over his other shoulder. Another rope was platted and tied to a ball. He wrapped it firmly around his waist. This continued until all of the balls were tied.
"Ahh! Time to start the journey!" Albard yawned.

 

"That Riolu has alot of attitude." Porfessor ivy said."It wont listen to a word i say, it would be just awful if it went with a trainer."

No actually. I based him off a Character in a book I read. He was only a side character, and he was more commonly known as the Master.

I like him...

Pokeballs slung all over his body, he grabbed one of them and opened it with a twist. A small turtle hopped out. "Squirtle Squirt!" it chortled.
"Hello squirtle. This is Albard, your new master. He will be kind to you, provided you fight for him. Do you two have a deal?" The squirtle stared back, confused.
Albard smiled warmly. "You shall be called..." Albard paused, to think. "Testundines. It is a good name, wear it well."
He turned and walked towards the grass. "Time to level grind."

 

OOC: evryones 12. If they were all 16 or 18 i would let him but seriously. LOL

 

"hey Riolu want to come with me" Shen asked

 

The Riolu nodded.

"Well be my guest then..." The professor said.

Sarah looked around..

"Um... can i have a piplup please?" she asked

"Well of course! anything fdor a new trainer!"

Professor Ivy took out a pokeball and Piplup came out

Sarah looked in happiness

"Arent you adorable?" she said.

"Piplup!" it shouted cheerfully

 

"thank you for the pokemon professor" Shen said and looked at Riolu "come on lets go" Shen said as they began to head out to the lab "nice metting you Sarah" Shen said

 

Sarah watched Shen away. She didnt want to leave him. But she knew there fates would cross sooner enough...

 

"Um, I'd also like a Piplup, please," Jeffrey said.

 

Seth continued to walk adn was about to open the door but then stoped "say Sarah do you want to travel together" Seth said
