I don't think repetitiveness will be a problem. I've been playing Super Smash Bros for years now and I still love everything about it.

I hope that their is some variety in the multiplayer (if there is) such as 2 v 2 etc.

 

If love to see Jak &Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Ryu from Yakuza, Spectre from the Ape Escape, Wanda from Shadow of Colussus and Jayden from Heavy Rain.

And subsequent stages of such characters, would be epic!

This one thousand times this. I hope to see one or two KH/FF characters too, but even without them I'd still buy this. Nathan Drake, Cole, Big Daddy? Those are some great characters.

 

I would kill for Sora or Roxas! but KH wasn't PS exclusive till Days. =/

Yeah since MGS Twin Snake was on the GameCube, Solid Snake was a candidate for the Super Smash series, albeit an unlikely one since there are bigger franchises produced by Nintendo, but there you go.

I think as long as a single game of a franchise has been on a playstation console, then they have a chance to be in this game. It expands the opportunities of great characters to have.

I can now see Commander Shepherd from Mass Effect, Alex Mercer from Prototype, a Brotherhood of Steel member from the Fallout series and Faith from Mirror's Edge.

 

Um, I think you mean it was. And even after Days, Birth By Sleep was on Sony's PSP.

Regardless, they'd have to pay Square to use a character from KH in this anyway (like Nintendo paid Sega for Sonic in SSBB).

 

It was only a matter of time until they revealed that Drake would be in it, but I am genuinely surprised that Big Daddy will be in it. Did not see that one coming at all. I wonder what others small-time characters will be in it then. Dante? Chell? Ryu? This unlocks a lot of possibilites.

Wrong, they would have to pay Disney for the characters. As it is Disney that gets the rights to all the Kingdom Hearts characters. I dunno, to me it seems unlikely that any KH characters will be allowed to be in the game by Disney, aren't they pretty strict with these things? Was that not why Sora was not in Dissidia? I am actually unsure and not just trying to act like an ass here.

Actually, Hideo Kojima approached Masahiro Sakurai to have Snake in Melee, but the game was too far into development for him to be included. So he was included in Brawl.
