I would say time well spent. Who needs clean clothes nowadays xD I jest. This is really good, I don't play Zelda but all his proportions seem right, I like the pose you've given him as it helps to depict the characters personality. I have basically no critisims because the folds in the clothes seem to work and there is nothnig wrong, that I can see, with the shading and the sketchy lines gve the piece texture. He has a very faint, dark glow around his left arm and hat (which I just randomly noticed... not sure why) but apart from that well done- a brilliant piece.
