Persona: Mask of Innocence

"I heard a little bit about Chidori from Junpei, what happened?" SHinji asked him and Junpei looked at everyone.

"She was a girl I met during our time hunting Shadows, and she was a member of a wacko group called Strega who wanted to keep the Dark Hour so their lifes still have a meaning, the leader shot me and I nearly left this world if Chidori hadn't saved me, the downside was, she used every last bit of her Persona's power to bring me back and it was then I realised, my life was veru important." he explained to them.

 

"There's not anyone from Strega still around, is there?"

 

"I don't think so, we took care of the two remaining members of Strega," Mitsuru said. "But their strange beliefs about the Fall are still around."

 

"I think the people at the lab were following those beliefs."

 

"I recall hearing some of the scientists say that Project Nyx bring about the Fall," Suki said, staring at Arisa. She looked away and said, "Good thing the experiments didn't work out."

 

"Well, if we are lucky, there won't be any other Persona users who wnat to keep the Dark Hour." he said to them

 

"As far as I could tell, Suki and I were the only users at the lab," Arisa told him.

 

"Still, with the scientists experimenting with shadows, I'm sure they wouldn't have wanted the Dark Hour to end."

 

"Well, scientists onyl believe their work si far more important than anythign else." Shinji said.

 

"I know all about that first hand." Hattori said, clenching his fist as he thought about his father.

 

Arisa sighed as the memories flooded back to her.

 

Shinji relaxed and waited for the food while holding Yukari's hand and waited for dinner.

 

Hattori looked up at a tv which was displaying the news. He stood up to turn up the volume as he noticed they were doing a report on his father.

'Our top story, Scientist Toji Najima has been sentenced to life in prison and has been sent to the Osaka Maximum security prison. He was found guilty of violating human rights with his experiments and was also charged with 40 counts of 1st degree murder. Police commented that with the evidence that was given to them and what they found at the lab that he worked at, there was no need to conduct a trial. A list of the other scientists was also found at the lab and police are conducting a search of Japan to track down his accomplices.'

 

Ovan smiled and said "That's good. You made a good choice not to kill him Hattori."

 

"Like your father could have any acomplices," Arisa said, after hearing the report.

 

"Who knows, but it's best to be on your guard because they may want to continue that same research." he said as he heard the report.

 

"He probably killed any accomplices he had. All I can say is that he got what he deserved."

 

Arisa heard the news talk about the projects.

"Scientist Najima was said to be working on two projects. Project Nyx, a project to create the world's greatest killing machine, a poor young girl was the subject for this project and that she is said to have escaped a few week ago. And Project Hellstrider, in which he used his own unborn son at the time." She sighed.

 

'Police commented that Hattori Nakamura, son of Scientist Najima and famous artist for Yoshiyuki Magazine was the one who brought him in, although when police pressed him for details, Nakamura gave no answer.'

 

Arisa listened to the report, thinking about her life.
