Dawn lay on a wall just outside the school door, hands behind her head as she watched the clouds above her, listening to an I-pod. She could always do her homework later.

Dawn switched the song on her i-pod, 'Numb' began to play in her headphones.

 

jake puled out his i-pod and started listening to 'forever' by papa roach as he sat down under a tree and gave silver a dog treat

Dawn looked over at Jake who was sitting under a tree. She jumped off the wall and walked over, switching off her i-pod. "Hi. I don't remember seeing you before. I'm Dawn."
