Orgi Day Care~

"What's happening?!" Rain asked, getting rather wound up now. She'd noticed the other children were migrating to the front to watch. Even some of the adults where congregating around the front windows.

"If I know him at all he's fighting this with all his strength." Or at leat I hope he is... It'd kill Rain to lose him, and he doesn't seserve to die. He's just a kid, he's 17 for gods sake. You can't kill him...

 

May looked at all of the kida and bit her lip. "I-I'm sure it's nothing..." She said.

The ambulance arrived at the hospital and the doctors took the stretcher out. Rose hopped out as well and followed them into the building, not taking her eyes off of Breeze. She let her tears fall down her cheeks and drop to the ground. I'm sure he's fighting, too... But I really wish it would've been me instead of him... He has a sister to take care of... She thought.

 

"Please! What's happening!?" She begged.

"Here." Vexen mumbled, offering her a tissue.

 

Aya bit her lip. She knew that she couldn't tell Rain, but she seemed so desperate to know. "I..." She couldn't find the words to say it.

Rose looked up at Vexen and took the tissue. "Thank you..." She said.

 

"Don't worry about it kid." Vexen smiled weakly. "Now." He nodded sitting down in waiting room. "Can you tell me what happened?"

"Screw it." She muttered, setting off towards the crowd. Deciding to find out for herself.

 

Rose sat down as well. "Well, we were playing tag..." She began. "He was starting to catch up to me and we were tripping over stuff, so I ran outside where we could run faster... And I thought that if I ran across the street, he wouldn't be able to catch me, but..." She hesitated for a moment. "I-I didn't see the car coming, and Breeze pushed me out of the way before I could get hit..." She felt the tears fall down her face.

May sighed, hoping that the ambulance had already come and got him.

 

By the time Rain had gotten there they'd been long gone. But, the crowd remained, as did the dented car.

"Trying to play the hero." He chuckled weakly "Good thing he did though, you could of died you silly girl. There's a reason we don't let you go out unsupervised."

 

May walked over to the crowd.

Rose looked down. "I-I'd rather it have been me than him..." She muttered.

 

"I still wanna know what happened..."


"Don't say that Rose." Vexen sighed "He did save your life, and he's a lot bigger and stronger then you. Chances are he'll survive, if it'd been you however..."

 

"I know..." Rose said and stared at the ground. "My body can't take as much as his can... But if he does die, the Rain would be crushed! If it had happened to me, everything's be okay... because I don't have any siblings... I know it's not right to say that, but it still shouldn't have been him... Besides, it was my fault for going outside, anyways..."

May bit her lip.

 

"Youre parents would notice you know. But still, he'll be fine. Just you wait."

 

"No they wouldn't..." Rose muttered to herself, but then looked up at Vexen. "Yeah... I hope so..." She said.

 

"Sure they would. And of course I'm right."

 

Rose didn't say any more. She didn't want to. They never noticed when she left the house, so how would they know if she got hurt? And since they basically just let her go off and do whatever, they didn't seem to care much about her safety...

 

"You alright kid?"

 

Rose stayed silent for awhile before looking up at Vexen. "Yeah..." she said.

Demyx appeared in the hosptial and saw Rose and Vaxen and went up to them "I just got the news so whats going on now?"
