I'm glad I came back early... DF, I said I would talk it over with *TN*, not that I was going to deem Zak the Judge.

She made a good point in our PM convo... it just isnt fair... I mean, how would Repliku and Pika_power feel if I went and apointed Xelax as the judge? Even though Zak is neutral, the user is not.

I do not object to Luxords verdict, as it was already predetermined.

I won't be on much until Sunday... but I'll try to make arrangements.

Edgeworth saw the case was getting out of hand. He stepped the Baliff went and appointed himself Judge. And the baliff was certainly an evil site. He knew that this could only lead to greater problems later on. He stepped outside to make a phonecall.

 

OOC: They'd probably react the same way when you brought in Edgeworth.

Besides, technically, neither was Erkz when it came to one of the members we tried, but that didn't stop him from making a fair verdict, though.

OOC:...Alright. Fine. Sorry for jumping the gun. However, Demyx seemed pretty straight-forward and Axel could be stalled long enough until Erkz gets back.

But we really can't let this RP get stuck like this. We all know that at this rate, without a judge, this entire thing will go nowhere. This should've been open and shut by now, but without Erkz, it's at a standstill and a bunch of nothing will continue to go on.

So what do we do with this? Do we just continue with Zack as the judge or was there something else you had in mind? :huh:

 

OOC: Ok... Zack can be the court Commisioner (one rank below judge) until the new judge arrives. I sent a message to the most well respected member of the site, so you better be good! I hope they are willing to play.

I think we can start Demyx's case. Although, my absense tommorow will limit my ability to play for now.

 

OOC: So, can Zack rule on Luxord already, so we can continue? The charges are correct, right?

 

OOC: I didn't discredit Zacks ruling... it happened... and we can start Demyx's case. I don't want it to be delayed because I can't be on saturday...

Hopefully my new judge will get the message and be willing to play with us by tommorow... I asked them to be neutral. I've never seen them debate Org XIII being justified or evil before, so I'm sure it shouldn't be a problem...

 

OOC: In that case, let's make it official...

BIC:

"This court finds the defendant, Luxord:

"Bailiff, take him aw..." Zack blinked. "Oh, right. Anyway, the sentence will be..." He scratched his chin thoughtfully. 'A street fight with me?' he thought. 'Nah...'

"You're sentenced to a month of community service in Halloween Town, Atlantica, Pride Lands and Space Paranoids." He raised an eyebrow. "A month each. And..." Zack cleared his throat. "You must attend Gamblers Anonymous meetings at least four times a week." He slammed the gavel, knowing full well that he had probably given an EXTREMELY light sentence. Seeing Luxord's body disappear from the courtroom, Zack knew that the next two cases would be a piece of cake.

"Okay, next up, we've got that...mullet guy over there." He jerked his head toward the timid looking guy by Denise. "So, Prosecution. You're up. State the charges and let's get this show on the road!"

That's when it happened. Zack could sense something distorting around the courtroom. He was pretty sure that only him and a couple others would sense it. But it wasn't his imagination. Luxord was messing with the time flow and he was using it to escape...

 

Well... It's my turn... he thought, then turned to Axel and said "Wish me luck!"​

 

"You don't need luck, Dem-Dem. Compared to the rest, you have nothing to worry about, really," Janexna stated, turning around to face the adorable member of the Organization. She was rubbing her eyes to get the sleep out of them and gave out a silent, small yawn, seeing as they were going to go at it again.

So, that was it...Zack was the judge for now. He thankfully sent Luxord back to the KH universe, which ALL should be on, since setting all these characters away from where they came from can affect the plot development and story, just like Axel was suppose to be in his original self by now, and maybe others as well. This was doing nothing, but stop that, getting in the way. Once Marluxia and Larxene are done, they needed to go back to their respective realm as soon as possible...it was dumb bringing them back alive, now what were they suppose to do? Make them fade again? Nomura won't be a very happy camper. Even Xemnas might be the important role in all this, or at least Xehanort, and she wondered how much the game will be different with them messing around all the time because of these trials. That was another thing that bothered her other than them being forced to be here. The future of the series after KH2. How was this wreck in the time line going to be fixed? Sora and the rest can easily go to their respective places, but the Organization was gone. Xemnas was here. Axel was here.

It was then her thoughts were distracted by the space and atmosphere around them shifting. Was she the only one who sensed that?

OOC: I've really been wondering about that, with taking characters off their universe and messing with it when their use might not be over.

 

Kairi found her seat and sat next to Sora again. "I have these smelling salts to wake Naminé up, but I don't know if she really needs to be awake at the moment." She glanced at the boys. "What do you think?"

OOC: To tell the truth, that's been bothering me as well. Kairi's voiced this concern a few times. Only ICSP can say if this reality will actually stay stable or if everything that happens now will become a fading memory...;)

 

Pika_power flipped up, almost wrenching a back muscle. "Wait! Objection! What the freaking hell?!"

The pokemon's face had just turned a bright purple colour.

"First off, what has Zack done to the judge?! He was taking a nap! Next thing I know, he is carted off to Raikou-knows-where, and Zack announces himself in command! Isn't something a tiny bit screwy? This guy booted me across the court! He has a venedetta against the Cheshire cat! He enjoys ramming needles up people's asses! This is more messed up than the time a kid kept trying to ram a waterstone down my throat moaning about how he wanted Pikablu!"

Taking a breath that he found wasn't there, Pika_power's face turned white, until he took a second to gulp down a glass of yellow skittle. Renewed, he continued. "Another thing, COMMUNITY FREAKING SERVICE?! This guy is not safe! He attacked people with an invincible GRIM REAPER! You want to send him off to gamblers anonymous?! He would probably get more punishment from a papercut! If this is your idea of justice, I want a different judge."

Pika_power sat down, fuming. Community Service. Just great. If he gets that for what he did, I wonder what Xemnas will get. Perhaps a heartfelt apology! Disgusting!

 

Zack raised an eyebrow. "Okay, first of all, I never kicked you! The security footage proves what happened during the Stitch/Roxas fiasco!" He played the tape while he was talking...

"Now pray tell, how the hell did you get hit from me when you were up in swirling ball of gravity? Especially when I was standing still right next to the judge? The only way that could've happened is if you actually jumped toward me! And second of all..." He put one of his boots on top of the desk, displaying its black shine. "...these boots don't HAVE steel in them! They're made of 100% leather and rubber coated with a temperature-proof chemical. So, I suggest you stop playing this blame game of yours before I penalize you!"

"As for your other point, what would you suggest? A flogging? Another damn fan fiction? Hell, I was about to sentence him to a bloody street fight...which I might still be able to do since it seems our defendant is attempting to escape..." Zack could see Luxord's chronic ion trail out the courtroom. "I already explained that the judge is temporarily out of commission, due to who knows what and is residing in the hospital wing alongside his father. Unless you'd rather go through another three hours of worthless blathering, I suggest you accept Luxord's fate because he isn't going to be exactly sent to the other worlds unscratched, and read Demyx's charges already so you can finally go on with your "Peekatchyou" life. Are we clear?"

 

Luxord, just as the gavel was slammed, he instantly paused time, although knowing Zack would be full aware, he took the chance.

Just as he about to run out in a flee, however, his mischevious eyes were drawn to Pika, who was frozen-still in an angry pose.
Using the moment, Luxord swipes from Pika not the whole bag, but only the yellow skittles, and takes a black sharpee marker on the desk, and popped the cap open.

He slowly etches a black goatee, similiar to his own signature facial-hair style, draw bushy eyebrows, an inch thick and only an centimeter away from each other, and to finish it off artistically, circles traced around the red cheek marks, and two large dots for comical eyes.

Done with his work, Luxord puts the cap back on the marker, places it down back on the desk, and pops a yellow skittle into his mouth before running straight out the door.

As soon as he was a blockaway from the courthouse, however, he resumed time, and so continued his runaway.

OOC: I'm thinking Casino.
And thanks for choosing the "Costume World" sentence!
That was my personal favorite!

And @Pika: I told you, I warned you(!), I would do something very evil to Pika if he kept it up. I couldn't stop laughing while writing that one part...xD

 

OOC: Yeah, well, I figure Luxord isn't going to be sent completely unscratched to serve his sentence. And besides, since he's trying to escape, the punishment can be increased now. Now time for something to vent my frustrations on...:sly:

BIC:

"Where do you think you're going?" Zack stepped out of the shadows in front of an astonished Luxord. "Surprised? Let me make it simple for you. I'm actually Zack from the future. I'm already back in my bailiff status due to the other judge's appearance." He gave him a cocky smirk. "See, you may be able to pseudo time stop, but I have the power to Backstep." Zack's body began to emanate dark energy. "I know you're not going to come back quietly, so I'm just going to have to bring you in by force."

Zack charged up the energy in his fist and slammed a 'Shadow Buster Punch' across Luxord's face.

Zack sighed. "Just get on with the charges already. I know we all want to get Demyx's case over and done with. And if I find you're wasting the court's time, you'll be held in contempt." He peered over his shades. "Nice goatee, by the way."

 

OOC: uh-uh, no way. Those punishments I picked for you to select out weren't based on what Luxord has done, it was based on what I can work with. Despite his attempts to runaway, which were unfairly stopped by Zack...-_-(So much for all the brain-storming I've been doing for over a month about Luxord's runaway...wasted utterly), he should still have the same punishment.
Luckily I'm one of those Role-players who will just go with anything, even if it doesn't serve my own purpose. In that way, I am almost versatile.

But, do not forget everyone who agreed and supported your being judge, since, after-all, this affects Luxord's trial.

You are a very skilled writer, DF, and far superior to me in both text and spelling, but when it comes to chilvary and tactness to others in role-play....quite literallly.....you truely do make the two appear dead.

BIC:

Luxord, in a haste on confusion and utter shock from Zack's somewhat blunt appearance, covers his face his sleeves as the blast comes at him. When the smoke and dust clears, he is completely unscathened, a winning-smile over his features.
"I believe you attempts are nullified."
Luxord retorts smartly and corgiently, extending his arm at Zack in gesture and bring it back to his side.

But then Luxord is somewhat stricken with confusion as he feels an unearthly cold stretch across his feet, and feel bitter iceness bear through his boots down to his toes.

Slightly unbalanced, he looks down at his feet, a curt, deep chuckle being let loose, not even moving his lips, but rather fazeing through his lips entirely, and the only gesture that ensured that it was him, was a slight bounce of his head as he looked down.

Shadowy mist had engulfed the ground below him, and he was bound to the floor, and falling through the floor slowly.

Only the bottom of his boots currently sinking, Luxord raised his head to face Zack in the frozen hallway. To somewhat make up for his deeds of past, he prepared to revert time to its mainstream, allowing the future Zack to find a way out of this present, if it was at all neccasary.
He didn't exactly have enough "time" to find out if Zack had anyother way out, due to the fact the shadows had already englufed him to his upper torso, his arms raised in a cross position to keep them from being taken just yet.

Just as he was about to lose all control over his motor abilities, Luxord took the last Yellow skittle he had swiped from Pika, and pops it into his mouth, just chewing the skittle and biding time as the shadows now engulfed most of his neck, leaving only his head left.

Slowly, unpaniced, he gulped the gummi yet chewy remains of the candy in his mouth, and stared Zack straight in the face.
"Touche'."
He enunciates with a slight tilt of his head, a sly grin on his face, and chivalry and humility in his voice. A mere ploy, from his lack of true emotions, but if he were human,...that's how he would have mentioned it.

As he was fully engulfed into the darkness, he reverted time to the mainstream, and his last thought as he totally disappeared into an unknown darkness, very different from fading away into darkness, being:
I wonder how long it will take those fools to realize.....We only wanted....a heart.....I truely, truely....pity them....

 

OOC: Well, that's the thing about me and RPing. I never said I was good at it. But you DO realize you still have some options left...

BIC: "What the..." Zack just stood there in confusion. What was Luxord doing, hallucinating? As far as he could see, the Gambler was still standing there, but he was freezing up and talking as if he were fading away into the darkness. And besides, Zack didn't even put that much power into his punch.

He cleared his throat. "You know, if you want I could probably give you a headstart. I'm not picky, really. I'll find you eventually." Zack turned his back, crossed his arms and waited. "Besides, you like games, right? How about we play hide-and-seek? I'm going to count to ten and if you're still standing there like an idiot when I turn back around, make no mistake, you're going down one way or another." He closed his eyes and sighed. "One..."

 

Pika_power felt something slide down his face, then a noise, as a green onion appeared with a flash. It giggled as it reached into Pika_power's pocket, and touched the GS ball. a neon green glow emnated from Pika_power, then both onion and the ball vanished.

Pika_power's eyes shot open, staring wildly for his fix of yellow skittles. He saw that out of the 14 and a half of the yellow skittles, some were gone. He also noticed in the reflection of the plastic wrapper, that his face had been mutilated. he stared around wildly, to see Luxord convulsing on the floor, with a round yellow object in his mouth and a black marker in his pocket. Pikachu's eyes narrowed, and he let out a ferocious snarl.
He lept from his chair, sending it flying back with a jolt. Not giving Luxord time to react to his sudden revival o, he pulled out a stylus. "I've had a lot of practice at this with Blanca!" Pika_power slashed widely, sending an arc around luxord's chin. "Now hold still, you guilty jigglypuff rip-off!" Pika_power delivered two more thinner arcs to both sides of luxord's face. "If you ever touch my yellow skittles again..." The red-in-the-face pokemon shouted as he drew four circles on Luxord's face, two on the cheeks, two on the eyes. "I will make Xigbar's face look pretty compared to yours!" The pikachu with a vengance made a few concentrated marks at the tips of the two arcs on the side of Luxord's head. "And next time you dare try to escape, RE..." More concentraion in the left cheek. "MEM..." The same on the right cheek. "BER..." his mouth was dragged open. "PI..." The inside of it swiped around by the stick. "KA..." the mouth was jammed shut and the outside was given a few strokes around the lips. "POW..." The stylus was withdrawn and furiously run over every inch of the gambler's face. "ER!" With the last section of his name, Pika_power drew back the stylus and sharply stabbed luxord in the nose.

Pika_power stared into Luxord's face. It was almost like staring into a mirror. Luxord's face was remade to look exactly like a Pikachu's. "I may have marker on my face, but that stuff will take a trip to an Animal Crossing town to remove! And even then, you better pray whoever finds you can draw well!"

All that had taken a total of 3-4 seconds. Pika_power mentally thanked the skittles for their instant energy.

With a satified smirk, Pika_power walked back to his seat, and mixed the remaining yellow skittles into a drink and gulped it down.

"Ahh..."

Before anyone accuses me of coming up with that on the spot, it was mentioned around 20 pages back that Pika_power was glad he did not have to give the GS ball to Sparrow.

Mewtwo realized immedietly that time had been frozen, and he mentally thanked Dialga for the protection. So it turns out that visiting Dialga for safety was not a bad idea. He looked on, wondering what Pika_power had just done, and also what Zack was doing. Reaching over to Riku, he levitated the timeless river camera out of his hand, and switched it to film mode. He pointed it at Zack, and began filiming, making sure to catch the bit with Zack giving Luxord a head start. "not a very just judge." Mewtwo muttered, as his recorded the damning evidence.

OoC: When Mewtwo vanished halfway during the case, then reappeared, he went to go chat with Dialga. I planned ahead. That is what I meant by "Kitted out my pokemon."

 

Mewtwo nodded understandingly. "So you are tired of the fight. I can accept that. But what about now? You have been resurrected, yet you seem to be confined to this courtroom. After this, are you return to your past state, or are you free? You are not out of the fight yet. You may be able to escape, but I would seriously consider your future. You have never run before, but you may reconsider."

Repliku shrugged. "I don't have a clue what will happen if I try to leave here." Ironically though the Pokemon had almost stumbled upon one of Repliku's...plans. But he dare not say what it was just yet. No, he had a while to wait for darn Vexen's trial. "I probably will try to leave though. I don't want to just fade away again. It sucks to die."

Kairi found her seat and sat next to Sora again. "I have these smelling salts to wake Naminé up, but I don't know if she really needs to be awake at the moment." She glanced at the boys. "What do you think?"

Riku smirked. "Go for it. Hopefully she will wake up and then make us all forget what Roxas is doing." Riku couldn't make out what Roxas and Axel were saying but he heard his name a couple times. He'd be prepared for 'something'. Right now the blond haired kid was just not acting normal. Maybe Riku should prank him. Hmmm... he rubbed his chin contemplatively.

"Yeah...it's perhaps the only time I'd want to actually willingly totally forget stuff with no negative outcomes." Sora snickered.

Harvey shrugged at the new Judge's self-appointment. He had seen worse happen in his time as a lawyer. And then...the term of punishment...and then... well crap..time was frozen now. That just sucked.

Yen Sid stood up, annoyed. Time freezing wasn't working on the mage and he turned and sealed the doors to the court house and windows. He gestured to the ground where Luxord formerly was and reformed him to the spot and then shook his head in disappointment. "Luxord! Do stop! Your punishment is hardly long and is mostly community service. Do think here! There is no need to run and after your term you are free to go and live as you may. I assure you that your punishment will not be increased should you just go with the terms and conditions set."

He then looked at Zack. "You are hardly a suitable Judge with this brazen behavior. I would suggest going back and beginning the case of Demyx and Luxord here can and will part momentarily. Since you decided to send him to the universe he is from, I am going to speak with him and he hardly needs to be beaten on to get points across. Let us get time back to normal and move on."

 

OoC: WTF?! I always found Time travel confusing, even in Animal Crossing, but this is just weird. Repliku is talking to Mewtwo, and everyone is looking at Luxord.

Mewtwo casually looked at the doors, then at Repliku. Deciding that they needed a guinea pig for the effects of fleeing the courtroom, he glanced at the doors and windows again. His eyes briefly glowed blue, breaking the bonds around the door. He sat down, and continued talking to Repliku in the moving time stream.
"Whatever you choose, I think that whatever may happen to you as a result of escape will be far better than sitting here, letting others continue to decide your fate.
"Enough of that though. If you did escape, what would you do? Where would you go? Assuming that you had to keep a low profile, naturally."

 

OOC: Okay, what the heck just happened? Luxord fled the courthouse and is a block away where the FUTURE Zack is waiting for Luxord to make a move.

Meanwhile, the PRESENT Zack is still in the judge's chair who's been waiting for either Harvey or Pika to read the charges (Yes, he's waiting on one of them to finally start the case.) And now everyone's assuming that both Luxord and the FUTURE Zack are still inside the courtroom as if they had never left. Will someone please tell me what the heck's going on? The rest of the courtroom shouldn't even be aware of what's going on outside unless it's showing up on the screens.

BIC: Zack glanced over at Yen Sid. "Um, I don't know who you're talking to, but I'm sitting right here. And I've been telling the Prosecution to read Demyx's charges since I've been up here, so if you want to blame anyone for not starting off the case, old man, you should start pestering them instead!" Then he looked over at Mewtwo. "Don't think I'm not aware of what you're doing, dude. Since I'm feeling generous about this, I better not see you start abusing your powers like earlier or you're getting those Psycho-Repressors back on!"

Then he glared at the Prosecution. "If we're to begin Demyx's case, the Prosecution has to start off. Is it that much trouble to read three measly charges and calling up a person to the stand?"

Kairi sighed. "The bailiff...as the judge. I think the power's getting to his head." She took out the smelling salts from her purse and started waving it under Naminé's nose. "I'd almost feel sorry for him if he'd only learn to calm down."

Meanwhile outside with Luxord, Zack shook his head. After being judge, he forgotten what it was like to get his hands dirty. But still, this wimp cowered after one hit from him? No wonder Sora finally kicked his sorry butt. "I'm kinda disappointed in you, dude. I was expecting you to at least fight back with those cards of yours. Or maybe turn yourself into a card, shuffle yourself and make your escape under cover. But at this point...any respect I may have had for your abilities has just disappeared."

 

OOC: I forgot I left about a block away...I thought Zack caught him in the hallway of the courtroom. But I'm getting pretty ticked off that everything I've been planning to do has reverted to nothing.........

But DF, You don't have to nullify everything I say. If I say Luxord mysteriously disappears, then something odd happens.....HE MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARS!

I just want to continue where I left off, and get the sentence started already.

I'll brain-storm, and then post the first part of the story later.

I'd also like to point out: It wasn't just the canon-costume worlds I mentioned, I also mentioned anyother ones that aren't in the game as well.

So here's what really happened: Future Zack succeeded, Luxord is on his way to his first punishment. Pika never got to draw on Luxord's face, and so has nothing to vent on. I'd hate to say it Pika, but you're going to have to react to Pika's strife in a different way....xD
