Naminé was starting to wonder if the Pokémon was doing all of this on purpose. Maybe he WANTED to be taken out of the case. And if that were true, then Mewtwo would be taking over again. But didn't they already agree to switch between cases already? Doing this just made it seem like Mr. Power was doing nothing but prolonging the trial as long as possible. Maybe he wanted a penalty just so he could say to Xelax that they were on even ground. What was he up to?

OoC: Ah well. I was having fun with the cat. At least Roxas remains my loyal servant.

"Xemnas has not had that proven, correct? Also, that was only against one person, someone already suspected of treachery. The heartless was under his command, how else would he control it like he did? Following the rules of heartless, it should have attacked Sora continuously, after all, he was the keyblade master. Also, remember Jiminy!"

Kairi knew what Naminé was thinking via telepathic bond and she whole-heartedly agreed. The Pokémon was feigning stupidity on purpose. For what reason was anyone's guess...

Every single person in the courtroom was against the Pokémon prosecutor and Zack knew it. He glanced up at the judge. "I can shut him up if you want," he muttered out of the side of his mouth. "Quick, painless, and best of all, no casualties." But then there was the dilemma. Which would the court have preferred: a Pokémon who wouldn't shut up or a Pokémon that would be annoying everyone mentally? Decisions, decisions...

The Pokemon's eyes glazed over. Without looking at Harvey, he said in a eerie voice, "Very well. We will discuss the charges of attacking the town Hollow Bastion at a later date, during Xemnas' trial. I also dismiss Luxord from the stand. I have nothing more to say. I await Judge Erkz decision." Pika_power slumped forward in the seat, unconscious.

Mewtwo looked away from the pikachu, hoping no one noticed the blue glow around his hand. He also really hoped Zack didn't see what just happened.

Unfortunately for Mewtwo, the Psychic sensors were still online, enabling Zack to instantly know what happened. Zack had turned off all the anti-psychic equipment when it seemed the Pokémon had left, but his reappearance made it clear he would use his Psychic powers with no consequence. He gave a quick glare toward the psychic chump and considered reanimating Pikachu via adrenaline shot just to spite him. Instead he turned to the judge again and said, "Maybe we should consider putting back on that Psychic Dampener or whatever you called it. Because if not, I'm activating the Psychic Feedback again."

The judge frowned. He could have sworn he'd just seen the blue glow from his nightmares of the Cinnabar Island lab...

Upon hearing Zack confirm his suspicions, his frown deepened and he turned to Mewtwo.

"I appreciate your concern, Mewtwo, but I'd rather you not abuse your powers in this courtroom, especially since I removed your Psycho-Repressor as a sign of good faith. Please don't let this happen again..."

He then turned to face Zack again.

"... I... don't think that would be necessary. However, please get Mr. Power to the PokeMon Center in the West Wing. I've no idea how much power Mewtwo had to use to suppress Mr. Power's firey attitude, but I can definitely say it placed an unhealthy strain upon his mind... Who knows how long he might be out for..."

Turning back to Mewtwo, he sighed and pointed at Pika Power's place behind the Prosecution's bench.

"Planning to take responsibility for your actions?"

Harvey groaned. "That was absolutely unnecessary to do. Mr. Power may be opinionated and have his issues but in the end, all that had to be done was for the Judge to declare he was ready to decide and that was that. It's a debate...no need to mess up his head. He's a person and has a free will and a right to express it." Harvey was starting to just not be happy with events right now. He hoped Pika would be alright and that they could now move on. He really was starting to dislike psychic powers and pondered blasting Mewtwo for it but withheld the action to not make the court anymore hectic and have all of the Prosecution suspended. "Please, your honor, can we have the judgments now?"

Riku frowned. He hated unfairness. "You do that again and I'm going to flatten you. You can't just use psychic powers to control someone else. That's no better than what this trial is about in the first place. I sure don't like my head messed up with and don't want to see anyone else have it happen to them. I mean it, one more stupid thing like that and I could care less if the Org walks free, I am out of here after kicking your ass."

Sora just blinked. The pokemon had fallen over and now accusations were flying at Mewtwo, the other Prosecutor. "Aww..jeez. Come on. This just isn't right." He sighed and looked at Riku. "Don't do something you'll be sorry for, ok? I'm sure they will handle it." Sora wasn't a fan of mind games but at the same time, he wasn't a fan of having to go visit Riku in prison either because he knew Riku would beat the Pokemon to within an inch of his life.

Yen Sid shook his head. "This display is poor and I believe I can undo the effects on the Prosecutor. This case should continue and this other Prosecutor should not be allowed to continue such antics as it interferes with the case. There is a need for justice here and not tom foolery." He glared most disapprovingly at Mewtwo and then looked at the Judge. "I am interested, since I was rather forced to be present for this, in the case pertaining to the Organization XIII. Another Prosecutor can be named if Mr. Power cannot sit anymore there but I do not think it should be this one as he seems to flex a power within a place that must have truth to condemn or release anyone. If he can and will alter the state of mind of a person and make that being declare a false intent, he is unfitting to the task of justice."

Erkz frowned. Yen Sid had a point...

"Currently, besides Mewtwo, there is only ONE legally recognized prosecutor in the courtroom," he said, glancing briefly at Edgeworth. "... And, in actually, I'd rather Mewtwo than Mr. Edgeworth. Simply because Mr. Edgeworth has his hands full with another case, and to force this one on him also might be a bit inconsiderate on our parts..."

He propped his head on his arm.

"What do you suggest?" he asked the elderly sorceror.

"You have a point. But if I can have your permission to heal Pika Power, then you will not require Mewtwo for the following case and you can Judge then if he is fit for further cases or not. I think at least some time out would be good so that he acknowledges he should not abuse his powers so. This is a court of law. Not a court of Mewtwo's psychic prowess." Even if the yellow Pokemon was persistent, at least he wasn't messing with people's minds as far as Yen Sid was concerned. He was a grumpy old guy. Zero tolerance and lots of discipline!

Erkz had shifted so that he was leaning towards the elderly sorceror as he was speaking. He began twiddling his thumbs.

"Say you do revive him. With magic, these things tend to be taxing on either the user or the recipient. What will the side-effects be. Also, how will he react to Mewtwo's actions. These are the things that must be considered."

"Side effects would be none. I can fix his mind as though it did not happen. I am a very well educated sorcerer and would not state something I could do were it harmful to the person. As for how his demeanor will be afterwards, I would imagine he may need to be held in check but I can also deal with that if he does not listen to your advice." He understood the Judge's concern and admired the fact he actually inquired about it. The Pokemon may need a firm hand to whip him back to focus on what was needed but he believed the Judge could do so and at this time he just did not think Mewtwo's invasion of Pika's mind was warranted and it should not go unpunished.

OOC: I think Erkz is considering a prosecution change... If anyone else wants to step up to the plate, *Cough DF Cough* I am willing to relinquish Edgeworth... but I think it would only be fair if one of the current prosecutors steps down. I'm not sure if P_P or Repliku are willing, its up to either one of them.

Also, ease up on Pika, he's just doing his job, prosecuting his case to the fullest. Even though its pretty much consensus that the case is done with, I don't think its nessisary to beat on him.

Edgeworth was a bit suprised that the judge mentioned him again. He contemplated onto whether or not he could actually prosecute the case at hand... it sounded like a good idea. Now he wished he actually answered the call he recieved earlier. Somehow he felt it would be important later on.

OOC: I don't think you should be a prosecutor, ICSP. I think Pika is fine and this is IC and not picking on Pika at all. What Mewtwo did would anger people quite a bit. however, I think Pika should be a Prosecutor still and it would be too much to see Edgeworth step in and you also run Xelax. Let's keep it as it is please. If it was another character than a Prosecutor or Defender then I'd say whatever, but the 4 character slots pretty much need to remain amongst 4 different people.

Amendment and teach Repliku to read apparently: Ahem, I misread this. Any way, I think Pika is fine and don't think Edgeworth is needed at all really until Sora's case. I believe that it will be fine and all. It's being acted out IC and Pika just likes to play around too.

    Erkz smiled at the sorceror.

"Work your magic then. Just so long as the Pokemon doesn't suffer. We'll see how he reacts when he comes to."

Yen Sid gave a nod and his fingers snapped. In his hand appeared a wand and he pointed i at the Pokemon. Magic energy gleamed out of the tip, firing at the Pokemon, and then an aura of blue white energy circled around the unconscious Pika. When the energy dissipated in glitters, Pika should awaken feeling refreshed and fine, though he would probably also know what had happened to him moments ago that caused him to go out cold. Yen Sid then sat back and the wand went back into some pocket in his robes. "It is done."

OOC: Thanks for the offer, but I prefer fighting from the sidelines as support. It wouldn't be a fair fight otherwise. :xp: Besides, I'd rather be able to attack through Zack indirectly than taking on both Xelax and Janexna. Playing as Edgeworth is tempting, but I don't like changing controllers in the middle of the game. You brought in Edgeworth. You can always take him out.

BIC: Zack looked over at the ol' geezer in the funny hat. True, he felt tremendous power coming from him, but in he wasn't exactly an Obi-Wan. The bailiff wondered if he should continue with the judge's order or allow this Yen Sid to revive the furball like he said he would...

His hesitation allowed fate to answer for him. The wizard did his magic. And the yellow rodent would live to fight again...

OOC: I wasn't offering to prosecute this case. I was sugesting someone else take over Edgeworth... And I know its all IC, but I just don't want it to become personal... I would feel like I was being picked on in the same situation.

Xelax almost got the chills... that wizard was certainly an intimidating presence. Xelax also studied up on the case file. He seemed to have some major issue's against Nobodies... particualarly ones in black treanch coats. He lowered his head, almsot as if he was about to hide underneath the desk... "Jenexna," he said with a whisper, "Is that him?"

OOC: I get what you are saying and hope that Pika doesn't feel that way. Pika, you are awesome. stay in the game dude. Yo.

Sora turned around and waved to Yen Sid. "Hello Master Yen Sid!"

Yen Sid gave a nod to Sora and the others in the court room. "Greetings. I believe we have a court case to resolve."

"We sure do", Sora responded and turned around to look forward and see how Pika was doing now.

Riku studied Yen Sid a moment and then caught Xelax looking kind of intimidated? Yes, he did. He wondered why. Yen Sid did have the damned most creepy strict eyes out there and power. Maybe that was it.

  19. "Hmm?" was all Janexna mumbled boredly, head propped in her hand on the desk as she turned to look at Xelax, who seemed to be shrinking away. Raising a eyebrow at his words, her eyes followed the new...witness? Personally, she didn't know why Yensid was needed, except for explaining about Nobodies not having hearts, and therefore not having feelings, though he did remember his words back then in the game. However, she didn't find him all that intimdating, got a presence, that was for sure, yet not of intimidation. She was also surprised at the turn of events with Mewtwo, which was solved, yet she didn't know where will this lead to. "Yeah, that's...him."

She smirked sinisterly, baring her whites, closely picking on her partner, before she stopped. Larxene was rubbing off on her. Shaking her head, she just added, in a sort of comfort, "Is going to be fine..."

OoC: This is really, really strange. I come into the thread, and find out that I am on the verge of quitting the game. Would be nice to find out about this sort of thing before hand, y'know? (Although cutting Pika some slack would be nice.)

IC: Pika_power's cheek twitched, then sparked, he jumped up and selected Thundershock from the menu, directed at the person he knew had special powers; Zack. The result was not what was expected. Instead of a bolt of lightning, the pokemon split into 30 different images, and started circling around Zack. Looking around for a minute, the pokemon realized what happened. Cursing under his breath, he walked back to his seat. "Stupid button mashing kid... Deleting thundershock for doubleteam like that... He could've read the words..."

OoC: Yeah, that kid was me. Nothing hurts more than a five year old button mashing pokemon yellow, and replacing thundershock with Double team. I ended up turning off before I saved. Pika_power clearly was not so Lucky.

Also, when is Lux making a run for it? I didn't kit out the pokemon for nothing.
