OoC: I have nothing against rhetorics, but Pika_power dislikes them in court. He wants a short and sweet answer to his questions, not anything complex.

Pika_power glanced at Xelax, quickly snapping at him "I am cross examining, not harassing. As I have said before, he was not brought back from death, merely snatched away in the time between becoming a somebody and their defeat. Got it memorized?

"As for the summoning of a heartless not being a crime, fine. Aggravated assault by proxy good enough for you?"

Looking back at the gambler, he asked, "Mr. Luxord, what is your reply to my questions?"

OOC: Alright. I just wanted to know if Zack was doing the right thing or not by forcing Luxord back onto the stand.

BIC: Kairi had absolutely no idea what was going on. The case seemed to be an open and shut bit, but forcing Luxord back to the stand when there was no real reason for him to be there just seemed to be elongating the entire trial.

Naminé didn't know what to think at this point. She could still feel Roxas' groping hands scrabbling all over her skin. The sheer memory of it gave her goosebumps. She should've felt worried, but she knew he could take care of himself...

  3. "Mr. Power, I think you missed the fact that whether or not they were snatched, they were forced here, and taken away from the chance of returning again, unelss they give themselves the death penalty. Even more so, they faded, thus, they disappeared, thus, they were gone, thus they died. Is not like Nobodies can be their own person after that. Not to mention that not all of them have the luck to come back complete, depending if their Heartless is killed. If it isn't, they are merely stuck in what I would call limbo and wait to see if they are able to be whole again or not. Is basically a bargain," Janexna spoke out, defending Xelax for once. She butted out of responding to the last one directed at her by the pokémon, along with Birdman, to not start a debate. Someone needed to call this one though.

Blocking a yawn, she simply waited as she skipped to the next song once the other was done. Janexna still didn't know what was the big deal with Luxord answering yes or no, to her, the answers despite not being direct, were clear to the charges at hand.

"If he wants to finish up his cross-examination, so be it. You did your examination. Either way, let's wrap this up and get a judgment already." Was the Judge even awake at this point? He could surely just say he had enough information and call the judgment and they could move on. The rest of this stuff was trivial as far as Harvey was concerned and it was just going to boil down to Pika and Xelax duking it out while Luxord was sitting on the stand as earlier Captain Jack was...as earlier Sora was...etc. Harvey was pondering through things and looked through Demyx's list of crimes and history. He seemed to only really have theft on his list that could really be charged for, and also some light coercion charge at most, by being misleading. Also, the order to 'liberate' Roxas/Sora, but at this point, he was sure Demyx would get off lightly as would Luxord. They didn't do as much wrong as some others that were coming up, that he could see any way. Yeah, Demyx was going to not be that hard on either side. Axel however, was a quandary. The virtual wild card of the Organization. He began researching more on Axel, since Demyx's charges were going to be relatively easy, but Axel, it was going to be interesting to get the red head on the stand.

"Janexna, with all due respect, the Organization and others were brought here to stand trial and find out their guilt, their crimes, and they are receiving minor punishments all things considered, since they -did- die. They are being given a chance if you think about it to have a second chance and do things better than before while also making sure there is some justice for the crimes they had committed. This actually works in the Org's favor, either way. So what if they have some small time taken away from them for crimes they did? If it rehabilitates them, then they get a second chance, don't they? If they don't learn, I'm sure penalties will be worse the second time around. All in all, it's a fair deal. Mr. Power may be out of line at times with his own bias, but so is Mr. Xelax. Anyone can see that they are being given a second chance whether they have to serve some time for what they did or not. One of the worst members of the Organization for crimes got off very light. I imagine that's going to be the standard."

"Weren't we -all- kind of forced here and after I am supposed to be tried too? I don't think that it's fair to bring up their weak point when all of us are here to do our parts, testify, be tried or whatever ourselves, including the fact you lawyers also seem to have been dragged here." Sora had missed much of what was said by Luxord and frowned. He wasn't sure what was going on exactly but once again the prosecution and defense were fighting. It was going to be even worse when they came up to others. He hoped the lawyers would trade off so that Xelax and Pika could argue some cases and others Janexna and Harvey could do which would probably go faster and be less confusing. Of course, he had other things to think on such as what his case would be like. So he imagined he should listen to the Organization members one by one to comprehend them more now that he actually had a chance. It would have been nice had they been more open before but better late than never.

Riku sighed. "This is stupid. Can't we move this on? Luxord's crimes aren't that severe to have to hear this crap go back and forth over and over." Riku really just didn't get all the court dramatics that had to be displayed here. It was all razzle dazzle. Who could say the fanciest thing to get whoever screwed or freed. He preferred his own brand of justice more. If the person was doing something wrong, you stop it. If not, leave them be or help them do something better. All Riku knew was that when he went to college he so was not going for a criminal law degree. It was boOOoring.

"Really, let's get this done with. I haven't got all day to wait for Vexen's case so I can leave since you guys suck. Also, am I being tried or can I leave whenever? I just want to know because I'm getting tired of this." If he was ignored in getting to find out this, he was going to be peeved. So far, the stupid defense had taken away any hopes he had of justice. He died too. Yet they had so much more sympathy for the Org. When he left here he was going to make a new beginning for himself as long as well...he wasn't just going to die again after this court case. At this point though, death was more comforting than living and being considered a doll or toy. At least the Org had recognition they were people, even by the yellow furry rat lightning bolt thing. Even he had more rights than Repliku did. All Repliku could think right now was that he nearly hated every single person in this room right now...nearly everyone because a few were okay, but the rest...grrrr!!!!

  5. "Doesn't change the fact that they are being forced, being punished, however minor it might be, the point that you're missing here. The court has even locked them to this place that they never wanted to be in. If Nomura gives them the likely chance to return to normal, then is obvious the justice that they deserve isn't as severe as some make it out to be, and if you're talking justice, they did die and experienced it to compensate, a lesson learned enough, while balancing it fairly with the fact that they can have their hearts back if lucky for those who didn't do much. That would be the same amount of the minor punishments given in the first place. As I said, the exact reason of why they did and go as far was to reach a goal, that goal was destroyed, and now they can remain without doing any of the wrongs they committed or follow orders that will prove to be fatal if they're not taken into consideration. These people spend part, if not all, of their existence wishing and desiring their hearts, and if they can't be fully satisfied before with being incomplete, what second chance is there to leave without feelings and emotions they had seeked and basically literally fought to death for? Nomura actually did gave them a second chance in itself, and these are basically people from a game, which is in its own universe, of certain laws that apply that wouldn't do so here. The point is, that wasn't left to their decision to choose what they wanted or to be tried while they were somewhat at peace, which is violating rights anyway...that's the core of the problem," Janexna responded, wondering if they were all forced here, why did they continue? That was just weird, it was like they were being controlled...she blinked. Whatever the case, what Marluxia was trying to make her see was started to be realized, yet she didn't know whether to bring them out, if she didn't already, somehow. "We're also interfering with game and universe plotting to further the story, Axel was already suppose to return to normal according to source to which I'm sure you are aware of..."

However, she did a double take as she heard Sora speak, as well as the rest, but her eyes remained on the brown haired boy questionably anyway, confused. "You're being tried? Since when?" Had she been that ADD to miss that fact? This shouldn't happen, this wasn't his court session, as far as she knew, and if he was going to be forced to be tried, it was to be another time on his own trial. Being a witness on this, he wasn't the point...they could bring him up in arguments by chance if need be, is just this wasn't his turn though. She then turned to Xelax, raising a eyebrow, thinking that he could explain it. Did the prosecution and him agreed to that?

Kairi raised an eyebrow. Janexna obviously wasn't paying attention when Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth's intentions were finally revealed. She would've explained, but it wasn't her place to say anything.

Zack, however, had no qualms to speaking. "Ol' frilly prosecutor up there said the Prosecutor's office assigned him the case of trying Sora after the Organization trial is complete," he explained. "Which means that if that comes to pass, your roles will have been fulfilled, all new teams will come in and another pointless set of bickering will start all over again." In his opinion, however, he felt that it would be a waste of time, effort and useless brain power. It was bad enough they were doing these cloaked bozos...

Naminé sighed. She had hoped no one would bring up the issue again. Edgeworth seemed to have been contemplating what she had said earlier, but she didn't know if she got through to him or not...

Roxas kept a defeated look on his face, until Sora left. He broke into a smile, then walked to reception for a snack. Spying a box of imports from various worlds, he looked through until he found a gold studded box-like object with a gunish barrel sticking out. Picking it up, he accidently pressed a button at the top. It flashed in his eyes, and he let out a scream, startling the receptionist. A square of card slid out of the camera, revealing Roxas' face in colour. "Sorry!" Roxas yelled back to the receptionist. Roxas fingered the contraption. "A modified timeless river camera, with colour! This thing is great!" Digging into his pocket, he found 3 munny and a ball of fluff. Walking over to the counter, he placed the camera down. "How much?" Roxas asked. In response, the receptionist pointed out a price tag with a lot of zeros. "No problem!" Roxas fished into his pocket, feigning surprise when nothing came out. "Uh, sorry, I must of left my money in the court. I need this camera right now, so can I pay you after the court ends? Here is assurance that I will pay." He pulled out oathkeeper, then oblivion, tossing them onto the counter. "Uh, okay..." the receptionist said timidly. "But if you don't come back for them, I will have to sell them."
"Thanks!" Roxas yelled over his shoulder, as he slung the camera under his jacket.
He waited until the lady had put the keyblades away in the back, then waved his hands, in an attempt to bring the keyblades back to him. He looked startled as they did not return, then noticed the storage room for the shop was in the courtroom. "Great, what am I to do now?" Roxas groaned.
He shrugged, then finally walked back into the room, and returned to Namine's side.

OOC: This really is becoming a very interesting thing. It also may be great for the RP I have planned after if people will still want to do it after we are done with this trial thing. Heck, I won't really have to think of a way to get the Org in it heh.

"That guy there", he gestures to Edgeworth then. "Said I am going on trial afterwards and all witnesses are to remain for it. I don't know if any of the other people involved are too, so you see, we are all going to be held accountable for our actions and have it decided what we did. I do feel bad that the Organization people are brought back for this, but I do have the hopes that they can be better for it and find their Hearts in a better way and heck, I'd try to help them because now I actually understand more and don't feel they should have to live that way. If they did die because their Hearts were still Heartless at the time of their defeats, well, this gives them a second chance. If they went back to Somebodies, well, this gives them a chance to clean their souls and decide on things so that they can go back feeling better, because they do have Souls still, whether they have no Hearts or not."

Sora stood up. "I know I got very angry at them for what they were doing and I would have helped them do something better that didn't hurt so many people if I had known. I get taken as an idiot a lot, and yeah, I'm not the most observant or brilliant person out there, but I still have some brains. The whole experience, and this court session too has kind of forced me to wake up. I hope we can all feel better about this. I was shocked to find out first off I had to come here and testify, but then also to find out I'm now going to be on trial after Xemnas...well that was even more of an eye opener. I accept it but Edgeworth didn't make it a decision on my part. Apparently some people can charge anyone with a crime."

Sora looked at the Org. "I hate to hate anyone. I really do. I will have to go through what you guys do and I don't mind that if it means justice and fairness. If I was wrong with some judgments I made, I am sorry and I am paying attention here trying to learn too. That's the one thing we can all hopefully take from this stuff is that we are meant to learn something and become better for it. Whether you guys go back to your Somebodies or not, I guess we all need to clean up our spirits and see where we went wrong so we become better people, me included." He then turns to Janexna. "That's the point I am trying to make. We are forced to this, but maybe we can make peace with things, be better for it and well, give each other all another chance to do things right. So, because I am going on trial after the Organization too, at least this won't just be one-sided and maybe after it's all over, I'd hope that I could at last talk to them and maybe we can make the future better for everyone, including the Nobodies. That's all I want really out of this is that we can all go on and be better instead of just being yelled at and a hammer slammed. ..I hope this makes sense because I'm not the best at speeches." Sora then sat down. What he had said had been very heart felt and probably the most serious thing he had ever said in his life. It meant that now he was able to face his own trial and also watch the Org's trials and he truly did hope for something good to come out of this.

Harvey sighed a bit. "I get what you are saying and all, but I think we need to move on. Pika isn't the only one who has been out of line attacking others and insinuating biased opinions. Perhaps the Judge needs to start calling people on biased remarks so that we can have them settled more quickly and get justice done so we can all move through these proceedings. If Sora is also being tried, that pretty much puts his whole side on trial through him too so in the end, it balances out that we have a big duty to perform here and when it's over, maybe these people can all work out differences in their own universe and make things right for all of them and it will be more power and betterment to their homes and lives too. So, maybe we are meant to do a good thing after all and it's not just about a simple trial to point fingers and accuse hatefully things. Really, I have to say this has been an experience that I won't soon forget. Let's do this though and if we see our partners going too far, I've tried to step in when I note it, so perhaps you will too, Janexna, and let's have this be a fair and just trial with some hope in mind."

Harvey had never really been to such a meaningful investigation and trial before. When he said he'd take the case, he was not anticipating it to be so embroiled with intrigue and plot that had such depth. Most of his cases weren't that big of a deal. But this was why he had become a lawyer in the first place. He thought that since the super hero gig was done, he could still do something meaningful and protect people who deserved it. Sure, he had a lot of dumb cases too, that were rather trivial and he took them up to keep money in his pocket, but this was perhaps the roughest and biggest case he had ever done in his career. He knew he'd leave here a changed man.

  9. Janexna just gazed at Birdman intently for awhile, almost like studying him, before simply just nodding in her own understanding, though her contemplations were mostly on Sora, whose speeches seemed more like his KH1 self than his KH2. And very long. He had noticed this Edgeworth character before, but she didn't really pay much attention to him or what he said as she thought he was simply here to look down on this prosecution. So Sora was going to be tried in another case, with Edgeworth as a prosecutor, then who will be the attorneys? Surely, it wouldn't be them, as she was hired only for this Organization trial. This was strange...she thought that everything, absolutely every piece will be over once this case is wrapped up. But she found this unethical...sure, Sora can somehow be held in court, but most of the revelations are being accounted and spoken out at this moment, so holding another will simply be pointless. Staring down at Sora, however, after he had said what he needed to say, she simply asked, "Do you want to go to trial?"

She wanted to know the outright answer honestly, because he sounded like he thought it was fair that he should also get a trial, and work towards whatever the verdict in the end. She might've been new in this whole law deal, and this is the first time she actually stood and battled as a official attorney, to a very wrenching and torn case of Nobodies, kind of funny how she had her first case be the hardest one. However, maybe she could somehow convince Edgeworth, or at least get some more information about how trying Sora came about. It didn't seem right to her, as things were being opened already enough.

Sora looked thoughtful for a moment, which was almost comical as he stared up at particularly nothing and tapped his finger on his chin. Then he looked back at her once he had formulated an answer. "Well, I'm kind of torn on it because I don't think anyone wants to go on trial. It's kind of scary and well it means you have to accept you did some bad things even if you thought you were doing right at the time. But that's also why I want to do it too. I want that the Organization and me...and anyone involved, that maybe we could have a chance to make things better for all of us."

Sora then shrugged. "I guess I would have had hopes instead of doing something like where the Organization, Ansem, me, Riku and others could have well mediated this instead, but maybe the court hearings are a way to do that after if the Organization would want to. I'd be willing to when we are done."

Pika_power stared at Luxord. Out of the corner of his mouth, he whispered to Harvey, "Do we need to do Sora too, or can we get away without it?"

  12. "I just needed your output, because I was to talk it over with Edgeworth. I don't think is conventional for you to be tried," Janexna ended, thinking that if he needed or there was a need to make things better, they could do so now. How was he and the Organization going to mediate when half of them, if not all, would be stuck somewhere for punishment, however minor or short it was? It depended on the members themselves if they hurry. And if the kid was to go to trial, will the members be needed? Dismissing Sora with a firm nod for now and a smile, deciding that this could be debated over once this trial ended first, thus, in due time, she concentrated on what was going on now. This wasn't the right moment to discuss this matter. She had to wait and see how Luxord's case will finish first and foremost, knowing that they were holding this up way too long when the charges were agreed to and done, and it was the point where they have to move on. It was finish already, actually, he just needed to answer whatever the pokémon wanted out of him.

Harvey shook his head. "I think there's enough information now for the charges for Judge Erkz to make his decision. Jack Sparrow and Luxord have filled in the gaps well enough and we've gone over it. I think we can now let the Judge decide."

How many times must I tell you!?
    Canonically,
    Luxord is right,
    not joo.

Luxord didn't create the freakin' heartless!
    It already exsisted, for cripe'sake.

    BIC:

Luxord is almost confused at the mention of
    somebody named Jimmny.

    "I know of no Jimmnys.
May I be allowed to meet him face to face,
as to attain my actions fully?"
Luxord asks without any malice in his voice.

He wouldn't answer any of the questions until he met this....Jimmny....

    OOC:

    Jimmny only appears like,
    four times in KH I.

    More times in KH CoM

And fewer times in KH II.

Like anybody but Sora, Donald, and Goofy really know about him?

Heck, I think even Donald and Goofy forget...

Not so sure about Sora though...
We would know if he forgot about Jimmny in his hood
if Sora suddenly backed up against a wall and there was a squishy sound on screen.....>.>...<.<

    You kill lucky lucky cricket.....

    Also,
    If it's alright with Pika,
I'd like to do Jimmny's role play.

    I do Luxord pretty swell,
    don't I?

I'm sure my concious will guide me to write it...

OoC: prove Luxord did not make it, canoncally. As in Nomura interview, game script, or KH2 novels. A wiki is not quite good enough. Show me the Wiki, and I can make it say Jiminy Farted, creating Kingdom Hearts.

Jiminy is not mine. Repliku and I figured that as Jiminy was close to Sora, that he could have Jiminy.

Pika_power looked at Luxord with distaste. "There was a cricket living in Sora's hood. When you shot Sora, you also hit Jiminy. Got it memorized? It does not matter whether you knew he existed, you meant to hurt Sora, but you also hurt Jiminy. As for whether you can see him, it depends if he wants you to see him."

OOC: Pika already brought up Jiminy earlier when Zack messed up with the stupid spell-check. And we already know Luxord SUMMONED the Heartless. But there must've been some loss in translation...:sideways:

    BIC:

Kairi's jaw dropped. The only thing she could think of was "What the feezy?" Harvey had only put five charges up which seemed pretty reasonable, but the Pokémon prosecutor added...

She was just stunned. This was supposed to be an open and shut case, but all of these additional charges just seemed redundant and improvised. Kairi wondered if this was just an attempt to stall the trial for as long as possible, because these new charges didn't seem all that necessary...

Naminé sighed. Luxord wasn't exactly making things easy for anyone. In her opinion, he should've just answered the questions to humor Pika, so they could get to the next trail already.

Zack rolled his eyes. At the moment, the only sane people in this entire courtroom were Janexna and Harvey. Everyone else was being stubborn. "King with a High" refused to answer the stupid questions already so everyone could go on with their organic, pain-collecting lives. The yellow poo-ball was being just as stubborn with his whole "Look at me, all Org are scum and they should be treated that way." And Xelax...the cloaked numbskull who thought "Light is evil, nothingness rules, darkness...meh."

But seriously. What was up with the judge? Zack was starting to wonder if maybe this person was nothing more than an avatar, just eyes and ears, a puppet that wouldn't move unless its owner got back to the controls. Because right now, Erkz' eyes seemed to be glazed over and unblinking. Either he was daydreaming or...

He looked over at Janexna, Denise, Kairi and Namine. If he were judge, he'd have deemed everyone as guilty two seconds into the trial and these girls would be sentenced to be part of his harem...not that he had a harem to begin with...

    I can't remember where I heard it,

"Only The dragon heartless was created by an organization member[Xigbar]"

Luxord would have had to kill something relative to what
    the Grim reaper is,
in order for it to become a heartless.

I highly doubt even Luxord could kill death
and make a heartless out of it.

    Luxord waves his hand about.
"Whether or not this respectable insect wants to see me,
also effects my ability to answer any further questions."
    Luxord states.

If his sentecne would rule out now for his failure to comply,
then at least he would go out heroically.

To me, it's plain out sick, und wrong.

Not to mention uncanonical whatsoever, and you can't mention how
Nomura stated that "No relationships in KH are set", that literally means:
    CloudxAeirth or CloudxTifa,
    LeonxAeirth or LeonxYuffie,
    or maybe even
    TidusxYuna of the gullwings....xD
That last relationship would most likely not turn out so well,
seing as though Yuna in KH II is only about 9 inches tall...xD

    But seriously,
Nomura's comment does not mean something stupid like:
    XenmasXSaix.
    Oh please,
    their only lines together were:

May I stop this foolish cherade?

    Indeed...

OMG! I Want to be with you, Mansex!

I feel the same way Saix!

(And then I remember the part of the cutscene
where Xenmas and Saix embrace each in slow motion to the music
    of: Guy Love, from Scrubs.)

    >.>

    Anyway,
    please....no yaoi sentencing.
As it will not only be a punishment for Luxord,
but also an unfair punishment for me.

OOC: Four things I want to point out.

    1. Luxord already turns himself into cards so trying to transform him into one is pretty useless.

    2. I thought you said you were going to make a run for it.

    3. Who in the world would want to be paired with Luxord?

    4. Watch the OOC spamming. You seem to be doing OOC more than IC dialogue...

Oh, and just because the Heartless is called the "Grim Reaper" doesn't mean that it's the ACTUAL Grim Reaper of Death. It's just a name and they have no relations whatsoever. So, it's NOT a god like Luxord believes.
