~~*Organzation XIII goes to court*~~

Ignoring everyone else, Pika_power focused on Janexa. "I call them worse than hardened criminals, in the sense of a cold blooded, psychopathic killer. They have the same mentality, but are unable to improve. The org does things without feeling emotion. But they still do things such as taunt a little girl, simply for their own pleasure, which they are unable to receive.

They are different from the lesser nobodies, as said by Yen Sid. It is the lesser Nobodies that strive towards a heart. The greater ones are able to plot, and able to reject the calling of a heart. E.G. Roxas, Namine, Axel, Larxane, everyone in castle oblivion.

The reason they are here? For them to recognized what they have done. In the case of some, to attempt to make them feel joy. (Larxane) They are here to face justice. After all, their death is hardly justice, considering they go back to their others, now is it?" Pika_power laughed. That WAS a funny thought. "I gave a fine reason on why they were here. To face justice. Do you agree that getting their goal is not justice, after everything that happened? Also, we can hardly punish the somebodies too, can we? After all, once they split from the nobodies, the somebodies cannot be charged. So the obvious thing to do is punish them between their 'death' and their fusion with their somebody. Agreed?"

Pika_power looked at the judge. "I have not had my complete cross examination yet. I am allowed that, correct?"

 

Xelax grew indignant at what he was hearing. He wanted to scream at the top of his lungs "OBJECTION!", but couldn't, knowing Janexna didn't feel that well.

So he mearly spoke at a medium tone... "Objection!"

"You cannot prove that the Grim Reaper is created from the heart of a person."

"Also, you have failed to see the whole picture. My client has flatly denied that he is responsible for the creation of the heartless, before we advance this point any further, you must present proof of this, or drop the subject."

Xelax smirked, "But even Mr. Sparrow did not blame Luxord for the curse, but rather he was quite clear that the source of the curse was the heartless itself, which according to my client, is only natural, and would have occured anyway."

"Mr. Birdman, and Mr. Power, you two cannot substanciate this claim. If Mr. Luxord was not the sorce of the curse, how could he be the one who coerced them to undo it?"

Xelax then raised the cup to his lips to take a sip, however he did not taste anything. But rather, a numbness came over his face. "Damn, this is hot!"

 

Janexna knew she wasn't claiming the fact that they were innocent, despite the memes, they can't still fully feel, deep and wrenching, the act of what they are doing. There's a difference between remembering, and actually experiencing it. If so, they wouldn't be so nonchalant about everything. Hardened criminals are liable and free to feel these things as real and deep as possible, and calling the Organization worse was incorrect. She could go on, yet, there was no reason to say this outloud, so she chose to ignore it as Birdman wasn't really doing anything that harbored some kind of retaliation, as he was the one she mostly respected. She was too tired, and listening to the bailiff from before, she eyed him earnestly, hearing him say he had a cure. Dismissing Repliku's snide remark, she went to say almost in hope, trying not to let go of her control in holding back the vile, "If there's any way to put away this nausea so I can continue in this court peacefully, please do so." She paused for a moment, before adding in a hurry, "Just make sure there won't be a...side-effect."

It was in this that she heard Xelax go at it.

She sighed. Maybe putting summoning the Grim Reaper Heartless, instead of creating, is a better take.

 

Zack almost gleefully whipped out his needle again until he heard the cute vixen mention the whole "No Side Effects" condition. That took some of the fun out of doing her. 'So much for the aphrodisiac...' he thought grimly to himself. He was sorely tempted to do the whole "Drop your skirt, bend over and cough while I stick this needle into your nice, shapely behind" bit, but decided against it. All the while cursing himself for having a stupid code of chivalry, Zack removed a small silver cylindrical object from an inside pocket and placed one end of it on Janexna's forehead. He applied a slight pressure and held it for five seconds before removing it.

He gently took her face into his gloved hands and stared into her eyes, checking to make sure that the cocktail took effect. After seeing the redness in Janexna's eyes fade away, he removed his hands and nodded. "You should be fine now. Just make sure you drink plenty of water." He jerked his head toward the water cooler he had lugged in earlier. And with a cocky wink, he walked back to his position next to the judge's stand and resumed his serious demeanor.

 

OOC: The Keyblade doesn't summon Heartless. It never has. It draws them out but they were already existing. The Grim Reaper Heartless and ones at Beast's Castle and the Dragon Heartless were all instruments of the Org. I don't get why this is bothering to be countered. Ah, well.

Harvey sighed. Pika was one thing and now the other most irritating person to anyone had to speak up with his statements. "The Heartless is an EMBLEM Heartless. It is therefore NOT natural and had to be created. I already said I left it in the hands of the Judge as to whether Luxord made it or brought it to him since I cannot question him now that he has left the stand. In either case, the Emblem Heartless are formed from Hearts of living beings and not just Darkness as Purebloods are, so do not play games with this. If Luxord states he did not create it, I will go with that since he has been truthful otherwise, but in the end, the fact remains that the Org HAD TO have whether he did himself or not. Also, he -did- summon it. So in the least, he brought it there to use. You know that. Seriously, if you would listen once in a while, it would help. I said whether the charge be dropped or not the point that the Heartless was in his control is evident."

"Yes he did. The 4 Nobodies that stole the medallions were Gambler Nobodies and once that happened, Jack was cursed. Also, because the Heartless had the gold after, and this was under Luxord's control, it is also clear that he is responsible. It is not natural. The Heartless was a created Emblem special Heartless. Again, enough with the games and you prove that it was natural when all notes from Xehanort and Ansem confirm that the Emblem Heartless are creations and Luxord himself stated his own connection already. It was part of the plan to get the Heart of the Heartless."

"Are you telling me Luxord didn't KNOW of the curse? He states so here after asked about the curse by Mr. Power."

"He also was in error. He stated that it is a natural being and was not marked. Here is the evidence to show it is in fact an Emblem Heartless as weren't all of the Heartless under control and designed by the Organization. Also, note, Xelax, unlike you, I am not calling him an outright liar as you did to the witnesses."

"Now unless you have a way to say that the Organization did -not- create the Grim Reaper Heartless, the Heartless found in Beast's Castle in the Ball Room and Dungeon and also the Heartless Dragon, then by all means go ahead and try. There is far more evidence to show they -did- in fact create them than there is opposing it. These Heartless were instrumental in their plans and required Sora to slay them so the Organization would have a higher concentration of Hearts for their project. That -was- the plan, whether Luxord fully understood it or not. Yes, he's stating he was 'following orders' as soldiers would, and that may be the fact but also, he misspoke saying it is a NATURAL force and not marked. He also stayed around for the Heart of the creature when destroyed and then promptly vanished with mission complete."

"The only thing then I will concede to is to change the first to 1. Summoning of the Heartless and Control over it. There is no debate of the other things you brought up."

 

Pika_power scowled. "I was on the verge of getting evidence, but then your client started quoting something about King Richard and stormed off. He needs to come back to finish his testimony, or all of it should be erased from the court records. It is unfair that you get to cross examine him completely, but we do not.

Furthermore, the heartless bears the emblem of the artificial heartless. Why would a god bear that sign?"

So the source was the heartless. The heartless was clearly under Luxord's control."

"Because his nobodies were keeping the gold that was cursing the heartless, making it invulnerable."

Roxas groaned. One minute he was in Namine's dress, the next on a wall. He tried to stand up, and succeeded, then fell onto one knee, a decisive "CRACK!" coming from one of his ankles. "OWW! Namine! You broke my leg; AGAIN!"

 

OOC: Also, sorry to point this out OOCly but since it's from the Wiki KH site, where I think BaseSebastion said he was getting his info from. Here is what it says directly, though I cannot really put this IC.

So, yes, IC I had Harvey change it to 'summons' instead of 'created' because it does fit the info provided.

"..Roxas, can you stop doing that?" Sora once again casted curaga on Roxas. "Cure!" he said as he raised the Keyblade above his head. "We should like get out of here before someone comes to investigate what we are all doing down here...but...potty break." Sora went into a stall and closed the door. After relieving himself he strolled out, washed his hands and leaned against the wall. "Once Kairi is done I think we should get back there. Are you feeling alright, Kairi?"

"This can't get any stupider, can it? I'm really pressed to figure out a way at this point." Riku smirked and crossed his arms, waiting.

 

OOC: Kairi ran after Namine seconds after she left, so Sora's pretty much talking to thin air. :xp:

Also, we all know Wiki can't be trusted in info, so it may or may not be canon. That's for Erkz to decide...

Naminé was already back inside the courtroom by the time Kairi finally caught up with her. "So what's been going on?" Kairi asked.

Naminé only shrugged. "As far as I can tell, the bailiff's attempts to get fresh with Janexna were thwarted by his conscience."

"I meant about the trial."

"Oh, that? Just the defense trying to put up a decent fight but starting to get slaughtered by evidence the prosecution found in contradicting evidence. That and Luxord left the witness stand before the Cross-Examination was over. How's Roxas?"

Now it was Kairi's turn to shrug. "Beats me. Last I saw, Sora and Riku were helping him out of that wall you smashed him through..."

Zack realized the furball was right. Luxord was NOT excused from the witness stand. Seeing as how he hadn't hesitated to stop Roxas from taking Jack Sparrow out, he marched up straight to Luxord, carried him over his shoulder and placed him roughly back on the witness stand. "We didn't tolerate it with Captain Sparrow. You're no different."

 

OOC: Yeah, wikis are only 'so' able to be accepted as factual but I suppose 'summoned' is a better word though it seems pretty clear the Org had been involved in their making or at least Xemnas had to have. So it's up to Erkz in the end whether summoned or created works at this point.

"Kairi?" Sora looked around and finally noticed she wasn't there. "Well...drat."

Riku laughed. "Well, let's get back then, already. The girls had the right idea." With that he turned around and Sora followed him out.

Sora waltzed into the court room and plopped down into his seat. "Okay then, what's going on?"

Riku followed and sat down quietly looking around. "It seems we're still going on with the Luxord case if the bailiff putting Luxord back on the stand is any indication." Riku hoped now Roxas would be alright but he wasn't going to hang out in a bathroom the entire time to wonder. If Roxas broke his leg again, Riku pondered breaking the other and then just sitting him down so he couldn't move anymore and harm himself anymore as well. Yes, it was a thought but of course, Riku wouldn't follow through on it.

 

OOC: Ok... I'm confused... what are the current charges?

 

OOC: 1. Summoning of an Emblem Heartless (Possible Creation of the Grim Reaper Heartless)
2. Theft of the Aztec Gold
3. Theft of the Black Pearl
4. The cursing of Jack Sparrow
5. Coercion of Sora mainly, but also Jack who had to have the curse removed or be stuck as he was, Donald and Goofy, who also accompanied Sora.

Denise put another cookie in her mouth as she started getting out her paper and pencil.
She took another glance around the room. "Hmm, no one seems to recognize me. Good."
She then put her pencil to the paper and started sketching the beginnings of a head.​

 

Pika_power grinned maliciously. "Now, Luxord, kindly answer the questions I asked previously. Preferably in a yes/no + reason format. And for the love of Arceus, don't go on about king richard!"

 

OOC: All in all, not bad. Marluxia was the worst, well, not as much as Xemnas has. Other than Xaldin, maybe Saïx or Vexen, the rest are pretty mild.

Janexna just blinked as he put some kind of vial in her forehead, and for a moment, her eyes blurred, making her flutter them, but it was gone as soon as it came, along with the nauseating sickness that she was feeling, with the headache and all. However, her orbs directed at his hands that were touching her cheeks with a raised eyebrow, until he took them away as well. Nodding at the instructions he was saying, she watched as he went quickly before she could utter a word, and she remained there speechless for awhile. It was obvious this guy was a womanizer. Though that was blatant even from two thousand miles. "Um, thanks." She wasn't sure he heard her though.

Feeling better, she could unfortunately finally concentrate on the trial and the upcoming ones at hand, but she just wanted to go home and curl up with Piko, her gray kitty, and watch teenage soap dramas on her couch with a bowl of ice cream. Listening to the charges, they seem correct well enough, though she wondered why Mr. Power wanted Luxord to answer the questions straight out so much, it was just making the session longer. Everything for Luxord seemed in place to her, anyway. Oh well, let the pokemon get the thirst over with. She was just really waiting for the judge's...judgment, as Luxord's case is pretty much over in her opinion. So, she took out her iPod, placing the earphones to...well, her ears, and turned it on. Wanting to listen to some old soft rock, she chose to play Wind Of Change by the Scorpions, just because she enjoyed the whistling. Putting the volume at a good level where she could hear, she simply watched the proceedings.

 

While waiting for Luxord, Pika_power started to whistle shrilly along to the ipod.

 

OOC: BTW, Pika is correct, right? Luxord can't leave the stand unless he's been excused? Or was he allowed to leave as soon as the charges were being argued? :huh:

I mean, Larxene was allowed to leave when the charges started becoming a debate, but Jack Sparrow had to be forced to stay for his Testimony...

 

OOC: Larxene was let to leave because the Offense agreed to it or the Judge did. Technically, those on trial shouldn't be able to leave but witnesses are there under their own volition. But if the defense, offense agree and the Judge feels that he can make a judgment fairly with what has been said and he has seen, then sometimes they allow it. Harvey did say it was alright because he felt enough was already established, but Pika is not clearing it since he didn't complete things.

Harvey groaned. "Pika, we really do have enough information to wrap this up already. So, if you are going to do this, I am telling you straight out, no more slander." Harvey was sure there was enough info given from Jack and Luxord's testimony as it was to get this case over but Mr. Power maybe had some other thing to inquire. He'd wait and see. He determined after this court trial of the Org...and now Sora, he was going to ask the judge to send Pika and Xelax to a wrestling match scene card and the two could duke it out. It would be entertaining to watch.

There's some sort of berry you collect in a pokemon game,
and it induces a powerful stench on the one it's sent at.

It also brings a powerful drunken euphoria if ingested.

 

"OBJECTION! Mr. Power, why do you still insist on harrassing my defendant? Isn't it enough stress that he was raised from the dead specifically to go to trial?" Xelax barked with a harsh voice. Though, he didn't mean to come accross harsh, but Godot's Formula 107 was so damn bitter and hot he couldn't come across any other way.

"Also, I would like to ask the prosecution how summoning a heartless is a crime? Albeit, summoning a heartless may be unethical, but it is not an illegal action in itself. Unless you are able to substantiate that that in itself is a crime, you should not press charges further." Xelax had the feeling the charges were going to change again.

He then turned his attention towards his associate at law. "Janexna, are you ok? Did you want to take the rest of the day of? I can handle this case and the next one on my own." He leaned in and whipsered only to her, not wanting the defendants to overhear what he said next, "You should take care of your health first, how can you defend them if you arn't feeling well?"

OOC: Actually defendants can leave the stand. It has happened before, although they usually get in trouble for it.

 

OOC: Janexna already got better as Zack healed her. That, and I just want to get to Axel's and Demyx's cases :D.

"I'm feeling fine, Xelax, don't worry. The bailiff did something of a good job, though I get the feeling he's trying to get laid or something," Janexna admitted truthfully, and the case with Luxord was kind of over with, they just needed Mr. Power to quench whatever he wanted, though it did closely resemble harassment. The next one was Demyx, and that kid would be easy, or, it won't take long. And she definitely wanted to do Axel...wait, that could be a double meaning. She meant go over Axel's trial. Giving a resolute and determined smile at her partner, showing that she was going to make it through just fine, she went back to listen of what answer would the prosecution take to Xelax's announcement, and hopefully, Luxord won't do anything stupid. This was his butt on the line, despite that the charges weren't horrible in themselves, and if he does something unsaturated, well, it was his fault. Her ears now blaring to Jordin Sparks's No Air, she sang the lyrics to herself silently, waiting for further statements, "Tell me how I'm suppose breathe with no air, can't live, can't breathe, with no air..."
