~~*Organzation XIII goes to court*~~

OOC: Okay, but we can't make the chase/fight scene TOO long because everyone wants to get through Demyx and Axel already and have the thousands of fangirls start ripping the prosecution to shreds while the defense can either stare in astonishment or join in. :xp: And the courtroom always needs its bailiff present. Just don't take Zack lightly. He's "evil" for a reason. :sly:

BIC: Zack eyed the defendant and sighed. This should've been an open and shut case. He stole. It was simple as that. Whether it was severe or not wasn't important. Unless the prosecution and the defense kept up their little quarrel, this would end up being as long and frustrating as Larxene. Although based on the events that had happened, it seemed that the judge had forgotten all about their little bet. All for the better. Zack didn't want his Porsche and DeLorean taken from him so easily. He almost wondered if he should spark something between Ol' Cloaked Blunder and Spanky McMeowmeow just so he would win the bet, but the judge would've immediately known he started it.

Although it may have been just stress, Zack sensed that the defendant might try something. Of course, Dark Portalling was completely negated inside the courthouse. He made sure of that. However, it wasn't equipped to prevent Luxord from doing his "Pseudo Time Stop." However, Zack knew exactly what to do if the defendant tried something. After all, he possessed half of the Time Elemental himself. And if the "Gambler of Fate" tried to throw down with him...

Zack chuckled as he flexed his fingers readily. Transformations wouldn't work on him. And he had abilities that no man could've dreamed of...except that one particular "Blue Blazer" he hated so much...

 

Suddenly a sound was heard of a ringtone. It was the song, "The Great Revival" playing.

Edgeworth scoffed. How dare someone forget to turn off thier phone. This was the court of law. Only a fool would forget to turn off thier phone. It kept ringing. After about ten seconds he realized it was his own phone. He promptly answered it, the only words spoken was, "Court is in session," as Edgeworth did not wait for a reply. The person calling him didn't even get a chance to say hello.

 

OOC: Sebastian . . . you'll ALWAYS be guilty, not matter what. The court is rigged that way. :sideways: Everyone here is guilty, ALL the damned Organization members.
And Zack's "evil"?! DD'8

 

OOC: I don't know...I see Demyx getting off EXTREMELY light or completely off. The Olympus Stone thing was pretty minor and Hades was pretty much more of the villain in the entire Underworld bit.

And yes, Zack is a self-proclaimed "evil genius" that once resurrected dead robots and dark creatures on his world but got defeated and has been bitter ever since. He's only bailiff because not only couldn't they find anyone else when the first judge was replaced, he's got an off-side bet with Judge Erkz that the prosecution and the defense would physically attack each other before the day is done. So, he's got a major 'tude problem and will look for any excuse to exercise his elemental powers of chaos on anyone who manages to piss him off. :sly:

 

OOC: Eh, Demyx have indeed commited very light crimes, but he still *cough*DID*cough* commit them, and even with one single charge, the charcters will still be pronounced guilty. <_< He'll get off lightly, but he'll be guilty anyway. *Don't hate me defence lawyers, we all know what I said is right* T_T

150 smirked. Luxord seemed to be entertaining notions of running. It was obvious. The sweat on his hands, the way he was throwing the case, the way he was taunting Jack. To him, the whole thing was still a joke, despite the demise of Larxane and Marluxia. 150 could see his logic. After all, he could time shift, how could he not get away?

Mewtwo was fine with him running, but he did not paticularly feel like being time frozen. He took a breath, then vanished from the courtroom in a stream of fuzzyness.

Pika_power smiled at Jack's tetimony. He breathed a sigh of relief. Zack handed over some munny to get Jack to testify. Pika_power fingered the G.S. ball in his pocket. Thank Arceus he didn't have to give that up to Jack.

 

Luxord, his ears usually trained on the smaller things,
he had the clinking of dice to thank for that,
he could make out the sound of some kind of foreign currency coming from somewhere in the room,
if only he could tell who it was!

Then he could literally prove that there was corruption in he prosecution against him,
and his fellow nobodies.

 

Riku looked over at Kairi. "No, but I suppose I could go get you some milk. That might help some." Riku was just confused at what was going on here now. Things were not making much sense and he wished some order would be called at this point. Riku stood up and headed out of the room to go get Kairi some milk or to see if they had any Tums or something downstairs. These things going on didn't need him really to be there.

Harvey just looked around. "The witness is Captain Jack Sparrow. I do not understand where this is headed to but I think we can move on. If you want to call Luxord to the stand, please do and let's keep the proceedings going. He's acting rather erratic." Harvey wasn't sure what was going on but it seemed like Luxord was trying to play some game. Of course, he wanted to play a game at the Castle as well. Seemed the man had a serious addiction to gambling whether in a court house or wandering about.

Sora looked at Jack. "I think you can get over here now if you want, Jack. Do you want some help?"

Repliku eyed Zack and then Luxord and then looked over at Xelax and Janexna. This was starting to be hard to follow and he wasn't sure when time stopped or started at this point. Was Luxord making things worse for himself or not at this juncture? His charges weren't even that big really except for the Heartless but even that wasn't looking so grim. There were worse people out there to be tried so what was he actually doing? His punishments couldn't be as severe as others and heck...Marluxia ended up with such a small punishment. Luxord wouldn't even get half that supposed torture. Man, how he wished Marluxia would have been charged with death instead of just doing probably what he fan wrote himself any way. Luxord didn't seem nearly so bad. But right now...was he trying to get out of it or sink himself further just gambling his fate? "This is really weird."

 

Jack sighed. He stood up, then stumbled over to Sora. "ugh... In future matey, keep that Roxas under control!"

Jack doubled over in agony. "Damn... I think something might be broken!" He wisked out a hip flask, and in a flash gulped down some of the liquid. He had a moment to say "There now, that feels better!" Before he fell to the floor, flask dropping from his hand onto the unforgiving stone.

 

Zack barely repressed a chuckle. He warned them. Drink alcohol within an hour and it's goodnight for five hours. Of course, there was one way to wake someone from the side-effect. However, he figured to keep it to himself as it would cause brain damage if attempted.

Kairi could only sit there silently, buttocks clenched and took deep long breaths. She tried to hold her discomfort, but her stomach felt like it was really bubbling. She hoped Riku would make it back soon. Either that or Naminé would bring back her purse. She had some antacid in there...

 

Sora blinked and then reached down and put Jack into the chair beside him. "He really did go out cold..." Sora decided to try to use Curaga on Jack to at least make his wounds from Roxas, Zack and all fade away. His hand glowed and he healed up Jack, but he was probably still out cold from having drank before an hour was up. Whatever Zack gave him, it really worked too well.

Riku wandered back into the room and sat down by Kairi. He passed her a plastic small bottle of milk. "This was the best I could find. Hope it helps you out. If not maybe I can run to a store real quick." He looked over at Jack who was comatose. "He drank already, huh?"

Sora snickered. "Yep! He just can't be off it, I guess. I wonder how Roxas and Namine are doing."

"There are some mysteries that are better left unknown" Riku said with a smirk because he was sure it was comical but not something they needed to see.

 

Roxas listened to Namine's question, and considered it. "Perhaps he will be turned into a figure and will have to be stuck in a dungeons and Dragons game. Or perhaps he will have to play through superman 64, or E.T."

Roxas slowly clambered onto the toilet rim, and peered over the cubicle wall. He couldn't help but gasp aloud. Namine had just peeled off her dress, and was completly naked. He fumbled,feet slipping. "Woah!" he yelled, as his foot crashed into the toilet bowl, while his body well outward with a crack. Roxas glanced around at what happened. He tasted blood in his mouth, he had bitten his tongue on the way down. He looked around again, taking in the event. He chortled, then burst into hysterical laughter. "Namine!" he gasped between jolts of pain of laughter, "Help! I think I just... Argh!" Roxas yelled out in pain as the broken bone moved. "I think I just broke my leg in the toilet while... HAHAHA!" He cut off into laughter, followed by a shreik of pain. He could only imagine the crap he would get from Sora Kairi and Riku for this. Leg broken in a toilet, after perving on his girlfriend, after getting thoroughly drunk. Now he was alternating between hysterics and pain. Drunkness, pervertedness and insanity, only on the third member!

 

Naminé heard Roxas' shout. She hastily put back on her mended dress, replaced the alternate clothing into Kairi's purse and flung open the door. She looked to her left at the changing booth where she expected Roxas to be. Then she heard the moans from behind her. She whirled around and to her surprise realized that Roxas had entered the bathroom stall next to her changing booth instead. Fortunately, Roxas hadn't bothered to lock the door yet. She pushed open the door and found Roxas still wearing the alternate outfit that she had given him earlier. His original clothing was still in a pile right next to him. "Roxas! What...How..." she stuttered. Finally, she took a deep breath to calm her raging thoughts. "Summon the Keyblade and cast Curaga already!" Then she wondered...

"How's you end up breaking your leg anyway? What were you doing, standing on the..." Her eyes widened. "You pervert! What is wrong with you?!" She sighed. "Really, Roxas. You're starting to make it harder to trust you." She was seriously considering breaking up with him and going out with Riku instead...

Kairi graciously took the bottle of milk and chugged it down. She felt the contents of her stomach settle a little bit, but it wasn't enough. Seeing no other alternative, she slowly got up and started waddling toward the courtroom door. "Just gotta take a porcelain cruise," she told Sora and Riku. And with that, butt clenched, she headed for the bathroom.

 

"You want me to go along? I hope you feel better, Kairi." Kairi was looking rather pale and he got up deciding perhaps he should accompany her so if she didn't make it there he could help her out. Maybe they also should check on Roxas and Namine who were taking forever to get back. What kinds of things were going on with those two now? He followed Kairi out.

"Sorry it didn't help. Feel better, Kairi" Riku commented. He did feel bad for her and would have followed too but didn't want to crowd her in. She was tough and could make it to the bathroom. Maybe though he would try to go to a store if she still felt bad after clearing her lunch. All of that Taco Bell and the stress must be getting to her. He decided to stay though for the time being because if anything happened, he felt someone should be present to witness it out of the group.

Repliku looked over at Kairi as she now left and Sora was going too. He looked at the bag of Taco Bell that Kairi had left there for him earlier. Yeah, maybe he had been smart to decide he'd rather starve at this point. Once she was gone, he opened the bag and looked at the contents. Were they trying to poison everyone? The bag then was crinkled and tossed in the local receptacle. It was better to be safe than sorry. Roxas, Namine, Kairi and Sora were gone. He curiously eyed some of the Org members but figured that poison may not really work on a Nobody. He didn't want to chance it himself though. His stomach grumbled but he'd think of some alternative. Oh this evil court place! Poisoning the people!

 

Roxas groaned, the adrenaline fading. "Sorry about that... can you please get a Curaga, or an ambulance?"

He stared at her pleadingly, then realized that it probably just looked like staring, so he averted his gaze with a jerk, causing another cracking sound in his ankle. "OWWW!"

 

Naminé raised an eyebrow. "Um...aren't you a Keyblade wielder? Can't you just summon a Keyblade and cast...Kairi!"

Kairi's eyes widened at the sound of her name. She looked over toward the cleaners and saw Naminé crouching near a bathroom stall occupied by Roxas. As much as it pained her to keep moving, she and Sora waddled toward them. "Naminé! What happened?" She gasped. "Did you and Roxas..."

"NO! Of course not! Roxas broke his leg and neither of us have Elixirs or a Curaga spell handy." She looked at Sora. "Could you heal him, please?"

 

Xelax cleared his throat as he began his examination.

"Ok, Mr. Luxord, there are multiple charges filed against you...

Namely...
1. Attacking Port Royal world with Heartless/creating a Heartless that was used to curse Jack Sparrow and theft.
2. Attacking Port Royal with Nobodies.
3. Stealing the Aztec Gold, theft of the Black Pearl.
4. Cursing Jack Sparrow.
5. Coercion: Forcing Sora and others to have to attack the Heartless in order to undo the Curse he had placed on Jack Sparrow.

I would now like you here your response to these charges."

Xelax got a chill down his spine... he didn't actually speak with Luxord prior, so he had no idea what would come out of his mouth.

OOC: Seriously, I really don't know what he's going to say... its kinda scary.

   Luxord cleared his throat and began.
   "I devolve into congention, that it was not of my own free will,
   to attack Port Royale'."
   Luxord begins, giving emphasis to his pronounciation of Royal.
   
   He faces Xelax.
   "I was merely acting on the forceful seriatims of Xenmas, my employer, as you all know
   
   That was the simple part,
   but inevitably it proved that he had been acting on orders that would
   otherwise punish him if he did not comply.
   
   He continued the one defense.
   "I would also like to promote, of which Roxas can not deny,
   Axel himself was threatened with being "turned into a dusk."
   Luxord contiues,
   doing the Richard Nixon and Dr. Evil thing when at "turned into a dusk."

   Luxord thought about the next one.
   
   He almost laughed if he was not heartless.
   
   "I admit to releasing my own Gambler Nobodies on the world of Port Royal,
   but none actually attacked the denizens."
   Luxord tells the absolute truth about.
   
   "The only attacks these minions of mine did was shoot out dice and cards,
   and only minorioty attacks."
   Luxord continues.
   "And these attacks would weild great treasures,
   should Sora beat their games."
   Luxord goes on.
   
   
   He gave a devilish smile.
   "Did you honestly think a teenage boy could make thousands of munny to spend
   on weaponary, potions, and such with just doing odd jobs,
   like mail rotating, destorying junk, and putting up posters?"
   Luxord recalls from how much munny that was lost with his Gamblers,
   also recalling when he visited Twilight Town and saw the job listings.
   
   So now that was undeniable.
   No Gamblers had truthfully harmed anyone but Sora, Jack, Donald, and Goofy.
   And they were combat trained to take on matters bigger than gamblers.

   Luxord would have a harder time with three.
   Because then he had been following the Pirate code respectively,
   not the laws that abode him now.
   Maybe he could use that point.
   
   "Jack Sparrow, honorably accepted my comply for Parely,
   being a renown protector of the Pirates code."
   Luxord compliments,
   which he hoped the jury would understand.
   
   "So when I hurled four Medallions out,
   it was a barter fairly settled under the Pirates code."
   Luxord continues.
   
   "And since Captain Sparrow has algamated with us today,
   the pirates code can not be held against me,
   otherwise,
   it would abide him as well."
   Luxord reminds the court room.
   
   Luxord peered his eyes around for those did not understand,
   and found a couple,
   so thus he raised a balled fist above his head and raised his neck backwards with the hand,
   making a face and gagging as if being hung invisibly.

   Luxord merely shrugged at the fourth aliggation.
   "I am not culpable for the vivacity of God...or Gods."
   Luxord notes,
   standing strong on this note.
   
   Since after all,
   the Grim Reapear had cursed Jack,
   not Luxord cursing Jack.
   
   And the Grim Reaper was more accountable with heathen gods.

   Luxord was a little pertubed by the last one.
   
   Summoning the Grim Reaper for Sora's gain was a crime?
   
   What had he gained?
   A mere trifle of soul that hardly complied to the Kingdom hearts
   the organization had been building.
   
   Plus, he had done Jack a favor,
   Luxord did not neccasarly have to release him from that curse.
   
   He adressed the court once more,
   speaking just as loudly and unselfishly as the other times,
   speaking with a fervor one without a heart was usually denied by.
   "My crime, be it coercian, that I helped Sora and company the allowance
   of releasing Jack from his curse?"
   Luxord asks the court.
   
   "I would like to note that when I said: "bravo, Sora,"
   I truly meant it with the remaining rememerance of a heart I had,
   after all, being imprssed by the brave young man's chivalry."
   Luxord trtuhfully speaks.
   He was the tenth member after all,
   and there were only three members who had the
   possibility of remembering the heart more than he.

Luxord had defended himself quite well,
leaving hardly any loopholes for those who hated him to subdue into their
greedy, and somtimes pointy fingered and yellow,
hands.
