Wait a minute! What have I missed? One moment Sora, Riku and Repliku were awaiting Murluxia's sentence, next thing I know, DF has come in and said it is over!

Please explain. I was under the impression that it was running smoothly. Whether people believe it or not, I am trying to give the character personality. Admittedly the drunk Roxas got a teeny-weeny bit out of control, but no reason to end the thread.

Ah well. I have an idea for an RP if this closes, and IIRC so did Repliku.

 

OOC: Really, I think Erkz did a fine job even if I feel that with the evidence -more- could have been done. This is the point though. If the Defense expected it to go lighter and the Offense expected it to go heavier, and OOCly we did the same...guess who's doing his job right? The Judge. People could stop taking it so personal and just let scenes rp out and stop the OOC comments of 'it's not fair' all the time so we could continue. This REALLY kills the mood of it all.

This was supposed to be fun. I assumed after the Larxene disaster case that we were going to move forward and have some good times, trying Marluxia etc and getting these cases underway. Some of you take this so darn seriously that it caused a battle because I wanted to run an Org member and that's 'crossing lines'. This isn't that sort of competition. I didn't sign up for this to be some grueling nasty thing. I signed up for it because it was a break from griping about Sora being a murderer or not and it seemed like a great idea. I don't agree with the calls all the time either but I'm certainly NOT going to waste my time bringing up quitting because I may not agree with a call even if it is a favorite character. I'll probably be annoyed if a few Org members get charges that are harsh, like Axel and Demyx, because they are favorites but I would still have Harvey do his worst/best about it and go with Erkz's call. It's an RP and that's what the character would do, while others obviously won't...and also calling people OOC is wrong too. If we could all just let the RP flow and have friendly attitude and competition going on OOC, while letting the Defense and Offense go IC etc, it would help. There's nothing wrong with friendly competition but da'amn, it hasn't been very friendly obviously when people are just saying nasty crap OOCly like 'there's no evidence' etc. I could have said this stuff too. I also could have called some people OOC. I didn't though. It's an Rpg with Pokemon, Harvey Birdman, Edgeworth, Namine and Roxas back, two Defense attorneys that are also apparently Nobodies etc. We've already gone to new heights and could all be called OOC.

So each person should make up his/her mind and declare whether the OOC opinions are so bad they can't have fun IC with the choices made etc. I am pretty sure I could go on and would want to. I thought this stuff was fixed after we all agreed the Larxene deal went on way longer than it should have. So I leave it in all of your hands. I'm done huffing and puffing even if I'm kind of annoyed this stuff had to happen and before I could hear Erkz's judgment!!!! And also before I could do some mad plans. Just simply evil, people. =:)

Well, actually, Amber, the RP works that you could do whatever including interacting with people. If it would just get moving, Demyx wouldn't be that far away to have his case handled. I know it can be boring but you could also toss in an original character too if you wanted. Others did that to spice it up. Things were moving faster until the last two or three days where it just was banter and waiting. I doubt most of the cases will even be this long because Marluxia's had to be since he was well...doing a lot of things. I don't think the other Org members, but possibly Xemnas, are going to really take that long and will probably not get that harsh of charges either.

 

People are taking the debating PERSONALLY. That's what's been going on. <_< Nothing else, hun. People are letting their ego come in-between something that was fun, and people are getting pissed off at each other over USELESS matters. Any other questions?




Bringing in OC characters are w/e, and Xelax and Janexna, I believe are portraying ICSP and *TN* themselves. Whatever being said under their character are genuinely their thoughts. Xelax and Janexna cannot be considered OOC for that matter and I say the same for Mr. Pika_power and Birdman. These characters are just an image of yourselves in the story [for you people are the ones debating here]. What YOU say is what THEY say. If only all the OOC crap was said through their mouths than an actual OOC.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO JUST CHILL FOR A MOMENT, and think this through, and recognize the source of the problem, which I believe that we already did. So do we have a solution to that or not?
Can we call keep our mouths SHUT? Can we all just shut up and base everything on facts rather than opinions?


This is exactly why a bunch of egoistic people shouldn't come to debate on things. It just gets nasty as time progresses. I was sad before, but now I'm SO FU*KEN GLAD that I'm not RPing as lawyer here, otherwise I'd have let my ego come before me.

As I've said for Pika_power, people have become egoistic and aggressive, taking EVERYTHING personally. :nono: That's all. And you don't really need to know anything else besides that. And everyone is just going a little stupid and fooling around as we wait for *TN*'s recovery and Erkz's verdict and sentence.

 

OOC: I don't agree with you here. Harvey Birdman's opinions are -not- always my own. He's a prosecutor and going to do his job. As I just said, it won't make me so 'happy' to pull out what I have to for some characters but the evidence is there to be competed against. I do agree though that if people are portraying 'themselves' etc, then the OOC 'frustration' posts should just be done IC. I was totally in the dark that there was this dilemma of wanting to quit until today. To me, things were fine and I just ignored TN's complaint about Marluxia even if OOCly I think Marluxia got off a lot lighter than he could have, while obviously those two think he should not have as many charges. The point is though that OOCly, I don't -care- that much. The only two who keep talking of quitting are those two so in the end it's up to -them-. None of us thought anything was -this bad-.

So really if, as it seems, nearly -everyone else- is fine to continue, in the end it is up to TN and ICSP and we all just have to -once again- agree to move this along and stop arguing over stupid crap. Since all of us were oblivious to it in the first place this time, it's not everyone doing it. We can all agree it's a -game- and I still can't fault Erkz for it as he is getting some of the blame. The only two people with the problem are the Defense people, so in the end, it's up to them, if Erkz even cares to play anymore after all the stupid jabs and this OOC stuff being done too much. The dilemma comes because some people assumed this was an all out war of opinions and I just came in to RP and see the outcome. I think we -all- need to move efforts to that and go along with the flow. The competitive seriousness OOCly is killing all momentum.

As for an Original character, Amber, perhaps the typist who records or a picture drawer of the court proceedings or something like that? Or maybe a journalist? Just some ideas to toss out there.

OoC: I feel quite insulted... At first Pika_power was myself, yes. Now I only leave traces of my personality in him. It was one reason I decided on changing to mewtwo for a bit. To see if the personality could change. Pika_power's personality is to argue non stop with everyone. 150 is more complying, less emotional.

Anyway...

The first few cases were learning curves. Right? We cannot expect them to run smoothly, when many people (Myself included) have never Rped before. I can accept constructive criticism, I will try to improve. Although I would find it cowardly and slightly stupid to back out of this now. Luxord will be a lighter hearted case. Specially as a drunk Jack has to testify.

I say give it a case or two more, then pass judgement.

IC: Pika_power glanced at Harvey, then the now armoured 150. "Hey, I know you guys told me the judge was awake, but for some reason he isn't saying anything." Pika_power stopped and looked around for a minute. When he came to think about it, nothing was really happening. Everyone seemed to be in some sort of suspended animation. Although he had the strangest feeling that something was trying to decide their fate. Nah, couldn't be. The pokegods were proved false.


OoC: If we do end it, can we finish off the ending scenes? I have one more trick up my sleeve. (No, it is not massive psychic stuff) But I do have something I want to try. Do the words "Water gun, Water gun, sky attack" m,ean anything to you?

 

OOC: Hmm...well, it's rough since right now we don't even know if the RP is going to continue or not until later today when ICSP gets here. He pretty much runs the show. I hope and TN reconsider and see all of the people here actually -do- want to RP and want it to be relaxed. I believe you can just ask him though in PM or in here and propose the idea. He's pretty quick on getting back with people either way.

I can't believe I stayed up all night...I have school in a couple hours. rawr. I do hope this resolves and maybe ICSP and TN just think no one is having much fun. With all the turnout now, it's obvious we'd play etc if we get the RP moving. I also think Pika and Harvey matched us 'more' when we were beginning but after all the hell with Larxene's case, we backed off to let it flow etc and just let the characters go as they were. Maybe it's not being seen but it is the case. Any way, here's to hoping this gets resolved before I get home. Also, I picked Harvey Birdman on purpose with the intention it -wasn't- me so I could have it IC and well, not be me, because I'd be totally wishy washy on about 4 or 6 members of the Org. Also...being repliku and repliku would be funny. =:)

 

Well, Neither did I. When I first saw the bickering and ranting, I shook my head and turned away, ignoring. Though I knew it would've come down to this ultimately, because it was building up, and these things come crashing down like a tsunami or an avalanche. No one else may not have noticed the problem building, but I sure as hell have, and this was what its supposed to come down to, and it did. I just didn't expect it to be THIS soon. It comes down to all of you now to decide if this RP still has a chance or not, and I will not speak a word on that matter. If it lives, I'll still be here, if it is to die, then I'm out. It's your choice. I don't/won't abandon, I'll be here till this thread actually dies on either this cause or of a real death.

Of course he's a prosecutor, and he cannot always say exactly what is on YOUR mind, he's got to do his job, as well as the defense attorneys. That was not what I'd meant, Repliku. What you do with your OC character here shouldn't really matter, for they are OCs after all, and unlike the rest of the characters here, they do not have something/someone to be compared against to see whether they are truly IC or not. OCs can pretty much do what they please. None of this sh!t would've been said or thought of if everyone just kept the OOC conversations out of this place. If you've got something to say, then say it IC without going too OOC [this applies to any characters that aren't OC].


No one was really stopping you from moving around and talking to the characters in court ~Amber~. I'm not sure why you didn't. O.o You always could've had him interrupt court discussions considering that he does that so well during the Organization meetings. xD However, you can always bring in an OC, and the typist [recorder] sounds good to me. ^_^- If you still wish to stay, hun, then I say an OC might do you some good.


Eff this right now. I can't pretend that I'm freakin' nocturnal at this moment. I've got exams tomorrow, and I don't want to drool all over my papers passing out or falling asleep on them, or act like a complete biatch to everyone beacuse of my lack of sleep. I'll deal with this stupidity tomorrow.

 

Remember, your character can impact the trial if you want. Remember what I did with Sttich? Chaos! Anyone can do that. If you are getting bored, through an Animal crossing Axe at somebody!

 

I guess the reason I didn't do anything was because I wasn't sure of what to do, and because I'm so stupidly nervous and shy, I didn't ask.

Kairi blinked. A weird tension had just seemed to seize all of them. "Naminé? Do you sense that?"

Naminé nodded. "Yeah. I don't know what it is, but the atmosphere. It's changed somehow." She looked up and was stunned to see that the judge was moving slower than usual. "A time trap?"

Kairi shook her head. "No. The judge is obviously waiting for something. For what, I don't know. Marluxia and Janexna were all ready for the verdict. So, what's taking him so long?"

Zack glanced up at the judge. Did something happen to him? Maybe that Edgeworth dork injected him with some kind of paralysis cocktail? Zack hoped not. He didn't want to have to be responsible for switching out ANOTHER judge. Especially when they haven't even gone through another member yet.

 

Awwz hun, isn't this your first time in an RP? if so, then it's understandable. I was shy at first, but soon learned that you have to butt in on other people's business. xD Just make Demmy do stupid crap, and he should be fine. lol


Axel finished his espresso in one last gulp before flinging it across the room to the small trash can in the corner. He leaned back on the chair he was sitting in, knowing he was still on the opposite side of the room. His eyes gazed at the sleeping Roxas and his thoughts drifted as somehow everyone's life was somehow ruined because of some idiots research. He contemplated on this, wondering what was there for everyone in the future. It seemed that Janexna had taken her time in replying to judge's decision and she finally spoke, though Axel ignored her for the moment. However, with Janexna beginning to talk, it also meant that recess would be over soon, and so he stood up.
"Sleep well buddy." He said softly, resting one hand on top of Roxas's head. With that he headed back to his damned seat. His boring, boring seat.

 

Erkz looked around at the audience, after they had again seated themselves after the recess. He frowned as he stood up and spun his gavel. Something was troubling him... and... he couldn't put his finger on it. Oh well, he thought as he slammed the gavel, he had a job to do, and he'd see it through to the end.

"Marluxia, for the charges of Coercion, Child Abuse, Unlawful Imprisonment, Attempted Coercion, Mental Damage, Murder, Attempted Murder, Assault and the Collateral Damage caused by your actions, I hereby pronounce you...

GUILTY!​

For your crimes, you shall be sentenced to 500,000 words of M-Rated, Shounen-Ai Fanfiction of any Genre of your choice to be carried out in the Realm of Fanfiction."

The judge snapped his fingers, and, like Larxene before him, Marluxia assumed the form of a card. Erkz couldn't help but be further unnerved by the expression on Marluxia's face, however...

"Bailiff, if you please..." he said, gesturing towards the card that was slowly floating down to the ground.

Sorry I took so long, I thought I had posted something earlier that I apparently forgot to post, and ended up having to fuse it with this post.

Also, I had a really long OOC post typed out, but I'll just summarize it since an OOC post that's longer than an IC post is... disconcerting to say the least.
1] This RP is awesome, but it has some flaws, and those should be rectified before continuing.
2] Everyone in the RP was awesome. Hell, even the spectators were awesome. Axel, Xigbar, Xaldin... Also Stitch, even though I had to lock him away because he was too awesome. XD
3] I'm here to stay, until the RP dies.
4] Magical Courtrooms of death, doom and cheesecake are the places where justice is served fresh out the oven. With a free paopu for an additional $39.99. *shot*

 

Pika_power walked into the witness box, and sat down next to Sora. A thought popped into his head. "Hey, Sora. If Roxas gets drunk, then recombines with you, do you get drunk too? What would you register on a breath test?" Leaving Sora to think that over, he eyed the room, looking for something to do to pass the time. Glancing the solid safe, he wondered what Stitch did to deserve that.

He continued his check of the room, and discovered the reason for Stitch's confinement. "So that's where it went..." the pokemon realized. "Pascal would have been horrified that I lost it!"

Stuck in his own thoughts, the pokemon fell out of his seat when he heard the verdict. "What on earth is shonen ai?"

Mewtwo Stood up, plates sliding together in unison. "A pleasure working with you" then he was gliding over to the witness box, sitting next to Repliku. Looking at the fallen Pikachu, he siad "Pika_power, you're up." Then he returned to sitting motionless next to Repliku.
