~~*Organzation XIII goes to court*~~

Harvey was more than glad that finally this would be heard and one of the worst members would get charged with at least some of the charges placed. To him, each thing had been more than proven and though he wished other charges shown had been added as well, what was there were the strongest points so he awaited the Judge's decision. The new man that had arrived on the scene was enigmatic. He definitely had a presence to him. But he seemed to be only so interested in the case itself but instead more intrigued by what would happen afterwards. Harvey sat down and awaited for the hopeful event that the recess would be over and the charges would be set so they could move on.

Riku finished off his meal courtesy of Kairi and Sora and dumped out the remaining stuff in the trash. He sat down, not sure what to make of the other new guy but figured at this point he didn't really like him. There was something just sinister about him. However, hearing Janexna speak, at least now they could get back to the matter at hand. The charges the Org received were something intriguing to him to see and he knew that it was only going to get more interesting from here out, or he was going to fall asleep through them and get someone to poke him awake at each final verdict.

Sora went back to his seat figuring he wasn't needed up at the stand now since the Judge would hopefully go over the charges. He didn't like Marluxia hardly at all but it dawned on him that all this bureaucratic song and dance was just kind of bleah. In a way he wished they could just all come to some sort of agreement with Xemnas and the other Org members to turn over new leaves and that help could be there for the Nobodies but at the same time, they wouldn't be doing bad things too. It would sure make all this stuff easier if a solution could be made that way, wouldn't it? He looked over at Xemnas a moment and was thoughtful on it, and had a feeling if he did try to talk to him that the Defense would get all over that...let alone the prosecution too because if they did all settle on something else, this court case would be done for. He had to really think what the right thing to do was here as he turned back to the stand and hoped recess would be over. He glanced over at Kairi. "Do you think this court case is a good thing?"

Repliku yawned and sat up, hoping now that the Defense people were done with their dancing around things could move. He was glad. He hated them both. He wanted out of this court case and to get as far away from the biased jerks as he could be before he was tempted to hear anything more about being a nothing that deserved no justice at all. He hoped they'd both at least suffer painfully and no one would show them mercy sometime and see how it felt. Soon his plan would unfurl and then he was out of this joint. He took out the paper and clenched it in his hand now waiting. He knew that he couldn't bear to watch much more of this and just restrain himself.

 

The Demon Prosecutor heard a young lady whisper his name. He knew they were talking about him, but wasn't sure what. They were saying. He self consiously checked the frills of his shirt to make sure he didn't get it stained with taco sauce. He cleared his throat as he approached them. "Yes, how can I help you?" he greeted cordially.

 

Naminé looked up in surprise. She hadn't noticed Edgeworth coming up to them. Although there weren't any taco sauce stains on his frills, he mustn't have noticed the sauce near his elbows. She tore her eyes off of his sleeves and back to his face. "We were just wondering why you were here of all places. I'd have thought you'd have been overseeing the production of that new court simulation with you as the protagonist..."

Kairi didn't know what to make of Edgeworth. She was still a bit suspicious of why he'd be here. She didn't know much about him, but something about the way he held himself...

Then she realized Sora was asking her something. She shrugged her shoulders helplessly. "To be honest, I don't know what to make of this whole thing. But something tells me that this day's going to become a whole lot more worse before it makes any sense..."

 

"Nagga beesta NA!" Stictch hurled himself at the walls of the safe. He bladder was aching, he needed food, and was in s state. Slowly, an idea came to him. Could he pick the lock?

"Your honour, you will find that Stitch is hungry and needs the toilet" The loudspeeker boomed. "His legal rights have been breached. Please release him."

Seeing the sleeping judge, Tron gave up on the orthodox, and instead went for the other side. "Sora, you have a friend trapped in that box. It is recess, you can summon a keyblade! Unlock the safe!"

Stitch put his ear to the lock, and slowly started turning the nob, blissfully unaware that Tron was attempting to get Sora to shoot a light beam into the dial.

"If you will not do it Sora, will Riku do it? He has a keyblade. Will Mickey release Stitch? What about Kairi? Does namine have a keyblade?" He was about to ask Roxas, but saw the state he was in, and decided he wanted Stitch out alive.

 

OOC - <_<;;; Okay, seriously. Enough with the sleeping judge thing. And the thing only looks like a safe. It's actually a minature high security prison cell. There IS a bathroom in it, and also air-conditioning. Hence why I haven't let him out. Also, no dinner for his misbehaviour. Magical Courtroom ftw.

Erkz sighed as he slammed the gavel, ending the recess.

"If we could all be seated, I'd like Court to reconvene so we can carry on with the proceedings."

 

The door burst open, and along with all the people who went out to get snacks, a figure clad in armour stepped in, then vanished, only to reappear at the desk, hovering above the cround. The thing spoke, in a voice that everyone understood, but no heard. "Judge, I am here. kindly continue."

A mutated octopus and turtle burst from the bathroom in a flurry. The octopus was wrapped around the turtle's shell, and was hitching a ride. Evetually the Ducktopus tired of the durtle's slow pace, and pulled out a staff, and muttered, "Hastega" causing the durtle to slide across the floor, and land in their seats. "So Donald," the durtle asked "Why did we get stuck like this again?" The Ducktopus flushed, then said irritably "for the fifth time Goofy, the spell I used in Atlantica had adverse effects. Now we are stuck like this. It must have been the water." the durtle shrugged. "Garwsh, you certain it was nothing to do with that yellow bit of, um, er... stuff in the toilet? I thought you sat down, then screamed out a spell. I am glade you set me right though!"

Pika_power sat back, content. Let's see how this Mewtwo character managed Murluxia's trial.

 

OOC: I'm going to try and make a effort on this thread at least xP. Get it moving, or at least put a last thought type of thing to conclude (yeah, the other one wasn't it).

All in all, despite that there were some things that pissed her off with the charges placed before in which she had to vent over in her mind someway, since she was going to repeat herself over a bit if she countered anymore of the arguments, and there wasn't really a need to, she took it as it was. She just wished there was a change on the charges. Not on the judge or the court, yet how the prosecution truly picked what charges to go through every time with a member, so they will get pass that and no need to argue the pointlessness of it. Along with not pining Marluxia on things he hadn't really done, which is where the sorry part for him came from. It wasn't that bad, so it wasn't worth much sympathy as she got that covered in the end....still, she had been hoping to switch a point of view with the prosecution, which she wasn't sure she succeeded on...mainly the reason why she went over some things the way she did. Once she looked over the judges' choices, she thought it fit and that it was fine. She was checking a few things to make sure that it was alright...except she was in doubt about the murder charges. She figured they gotten over this....oh wait, probably Vexen. Can't really argue that one then.

And that was it. Though she wondered if Marluxia had to agree on the plea bargain or pledge guilty to the final choices. Is not like she knew how that worked....maybe that didn't have to come through. Instead though, her thinking once more drifted off over Axel, and how he really needed to eat, because Marluixa had a damn good body build....well, slim kind of fitted Axel, really. She didn't think he would be so nice eye candy if he had stuck with something like a buffed body...that was creepy. That image was not one to fawn over, it was like putting Marluxia's body with Axel's head, face, and lower half of the body. They had to change his whole heigth and figure to work that one. And she didn't like the idea. The redhead was better off that way, it wasn't like he didn't have fine muscles. Maybe she'll get her chance to corner him and take off his Organization coat and simply-

Janexna didn't know when her conscious started to seep in and condescend her, but she pouted to herself, and put down on the very X rated thoughts that will come if she kept thinking over those things. Still, she wondered if Axel could take on someone like Larxene romantically speaking...she'll probably have all men at her mercy if she had her way. She could just picture her standing on top of all the guys she conquered in a mountain of dazed and thankfully not murdered bodies and her laughing evilly, lightning and thunder in the background.

Kind of scary, but admirable. Girl power. It made her kind of ponder if the Fanfic Axel she had placed on her was there and how she was proceeding with it if he did in fact, appeared. Hopefully, Larxene hadn't killed him just yet, since the thought of losing any Axel was sad. Still, the Nymph could probably take on that bailiff though...as she had been looking over at the man while contemplating. She wondered about the guy, since he kept looking over the females....hmm. He also stole Axel's hair, but it looked better on the Nobody anyway. Though the bailiff wasn't half bad either. Janexna sighed. She definitely needed some other type of activity instead of fawning over guys....however hot they may be.

 

"Oh that." Edgeworth looked around nervously. "That wasn't my idea. I took it up on a dare from him. Who knew the man could play poker. I've been a little busy with that." his smirk reapeared, "I am a prosecutor first and foremost. My work comes first. Besides, Gumshoe is making bill boards now... he made it our of plywood..." *Flashback* Maybe some things were better left forgotten. Hearing the judges words. He went and took his seat back into the courthouse.

Xelax got back up to his feet. And grasped the podium balancing himself. He felt as though he was on the verge of blacking out. "What's with this? Do I have to get hurt once every trail?"

He then noticed Janexna... she was staring at Marluxia. She had that crazed look in her eyes. It was kinda creepy. "Hey... is everything ok? You don't look well."

 

Pika_power looked across at the judge's desk. He was sleeping again, head on the table. Pika_power contemplated the consequences for a moment, them yelled at the top of his lungs...

He smirked to himself. The judge should wake up from that. Then the pokemon did a double take. "What the... Sorry?" it was a remnant of Edgeworth's coat on the table. Pika_power was at just the right angle so it looked like a snoozing judge. "Uh, Sorry?"

 

Edgeworth flinched at the pokemon's shriek. He turned to ask Namine, "Does he always yell objection at random times? At least when I yell objection there is a point to it." One image quicklly flashed into his mind. Followed by another. "Ok... nevermind then." he finished, looking defeated without even waiting for the blonde to respond.

 

Harvey awaited the Judge's decision and shook his head at the pokemon. "Pika, he's awake and has been awake. We are moving on. Take your places again, people."

Riku relaxed, waiting for the judgment. He was more than ready.

Sora gave a nod to Kairi and then shrugged, not getting what was going on with the new guy. He turned and looked back to the Judge now.

 

OOC: What? So that's it? It's over? We wasted how many weeks on this and it's just done? :huh: Or are we actually going to go through with this 'til the end?

OOC: I don't think there's a point when the Defense side are the ones who want to discontinue and the debates on adding in Edgeworth to try Sora...after the silly debate gets brought up again about Sora in another topic, I just am not interested in pursuing this anymore. Obviously we are all just too opinionated for our own goods to make this work.

Some people have taken several post personally. I myself am included. And taking RP post personally is a violation of the golden rule or RPing. So howabout it... do you guys want it closed or open? I really don't care either way...

 

OOC: I enjoyed the RP and wanted to see the outcome but it seems that people feel jipped etc and it carries onto the next things. It really was a nice break from arguing in threads about it and Erkz was doing a good job at being pretty neutral. It was fun but I understand if people want to just drop it. Any way have a good night guys and girls.

 

OKEY. HOLD UP! This RP was supposed to be for FUN. But lately, from what I'm seeing, is that you ALL have become too egoistic in your own opinions and are too damn PROUD to LET IT GO! Even when there's evidence to show which claim was correct, you people keep nagging on and on and on. . . basically about NOTHING, and up to the point where you all just start to repeat yourselves! That only hurts YOU. When you keep nagging about it, it only starts to seem like a threat and then it just becomes a flame because no one wants their opinion to be brought down to the ground to be stomped on. Honestly, what I'm seeing currently, is that the court has left all facts and now the characters are being judged by each others' opinions and inferences rather than actual proofs and evidences. Inferences are basically educated guesses based on what we see, that cannot be counted as evidence. Good god people! Forgive me Erkz, but somehow I cannot help but feel that you aren't exactly doing a proper balancing of the facts from both sides [please do not take that personally Erkz, once again, I do apologize.] There are many things being pointed out by both the defenses and prosecutors which you have overlooked [please do not ask me to show examples, because I am not about go through 796 freakin' posts to go looking for them. I'm sorry, but I won't]. I'm not saying this because I support the Organization, no, I believe that they are in fact guilty for certain matters, they aren't exactly innocent, but a lot of the charges laid against them are just... inane. Meaningless. I honestly don't see how the characters are being charged with something that is only an inference and not a fact.

Being opinionated has NOTHING to do here darlings! The court rests and makes its decisions on FACTS, NOT OPINIONS. For goodness sake can you ALL please keep your opinions to yourselves, and actually go through this with FACTS. It's fine in someone doesn't like some character, fine if they think that they were wrong, but it's your opinion, so keep it in you head. You all are turning aggressive per posts, obviously taking them more personally than need be. The problem here is that you all are being egoistic, and I can't ignore the small fights in the OOC moments anymore [which evidently leaks into the character as well]. Stop the fights and PLEASE let go of your EGOS! Stop the bickering! We have our opinions, and so do I, but can we please base this on facts rather than opinion?
This was supposed to be a fun RP. . . so. . . WE WILL LET GO OF OUR EGOS, WE WILL BASE EVERYTHING ON FACTS RATHER THAN WHAT YOUR OPINION IS. WE'RE GOING TO POST LIKE THE NICE PEOPLE WE ARE AND WE WILL HAVE FUN DAMMIT!!!

One word. Ouch. :dead: But yeah. I'm probably being hypocritical for agreeing with you, but this RP was supposed to be, I guess, fun? :huh:

I just wanted to know what Marluxia's sentence was going to be.

But is this considered being dropped because the Org's not being ruled completely innocent? Because that was a lost cause to begin with. No one was innocent in the entire game whether they were a denizen of light or a non-existent one. If it were just one charge of "Was this Organization member justified?" then I'd see fewer headaches and frustrations.

That was the mistake to begin with. If it was a one-to-one charge, then it'd be possible for the defense to get a "NOT GUILTY" verdict. But since there are multiple points, no matter what happens, the verdict will ALWAYS be "GUILTY" no matter how good your defense is. It was pretty much setting up the Org to take the fall and screwing the defense before the trial even began.

So, unless you want to change the rules to a one-on-one charge, EVERY SINGLE DEFENDANT will get a GUILTY for at least ONE point. It's an inescapable fact.

That leaves one question: "Can we set opinions aside and continue on calmly or are we going to let stubborn streaks and unfair balance destroy this thread?"

I'm natural on whether this RP should be closed or not. However, if you people still feel that it is hard to keep your opinions to yourselves, then I say close this, for that will only lead to flame and, I really can't believe I'm saying this, considering this is ONLY a game [where everyone is guilty whether you like it or not], HURT FEELINGS. If you can't handle it, then there's no point in hating, hurting, intimidating and traumatizing forum people.

If you feel that you can suppress your thoughts, then continue, otherwise, close it.

Personally, I was having fun [trying to make Axel do stupid crap to snap you people out of the bickering]. And apparently it wasn't wroking. [Like I hadn't figued that out already]
