OOC: Um...yeah. Edgeworth's not wearing an Org cloak. Now that we know who he is, there's no reason why he would have a hood to begin with.

Zack sighed at the sight of the little pipsqueak. Like it was his fault that the little mongrel ran into his boot. He wondered when Janexna would finally wake up from her daydream and realize their was a recess going on. And what was with the fancy talk from Mr. Frilly Prosecutor? Why would he need to restrain everybody from leaving? Besides...at the rate this was going it'd take months before they even reached Xemnas. Time seemed to be going at a slower rate than usual. Perhaps it was the magic of the courthouse...

Harvey looked over at Roxas and blanched. He was going to make a wonderful character witness trsashed. Oh yeeeeeeeeeah. Attacking the Defense literally! He decided there was only one thing to do at this point. It was ironic only that he hit the Prosecution attorney instead and went on to go after another. And now Pika wandered out. This was JUST GREAT!!! He hoped a little light power would put Roxas back to some sense of sobriety. Aiming with his armband, he fired a beam that would possibly impact with Roxas. "You there! Calm down!"

Roxas felt something impact the back of his head, so immediately turned from the toilets and hurled his keyblade at the source of the shot. It stopped an inch from Havey's nose as the light ray too effect of Roxas. "G'night Namine..." Roxas muttered, before falling over into a deep slumber.

OoC: Pika_power has bad eyesight. And you said the stranger was wearing a coat. Did he ever shrug it off? You gave the impression that he was wearing a hood. I thought Roxas could fix that.

Harvey blinked as the Keyblade came within an inch of his face and then let out an audible "Phew" as the boy went down. That was close.

Riku wandered over to get Roxas and picked him up, putting him into a chair carefully. "He really does smell bad. I'm tempted to take him outside and hose him down." The wreak was incredible. "This stuff could power jet engines." >.<

OOC: Did I? I never said he was hooded...I only said that he COULD HAVE been Xelax's twin brother. There's a difference. :p

As Kairi walked back to the courtroom with her and Sora's arms full of Grande Meal bags, a question popped into her head that she'd been meaning to ask him.

"We're here as witnesses for the Organization's trials, right? Well, what's going to happen afterward? Do all of us return back to where we came from with no memory of what's happened? In fact..." Kairi pursed her lips in thought. "...do you think you'll retain your memories of Castle Oblivion? Or will it just fade away like everything else?"

OOC: Since DiZ is taken and all and no one has Yen Sid yet, I want to claim the crotchety old wizard. So gimmeh.

Sora shrugged. He carried in what food he also had. "I don't really know. Also, probably will Roxas and Namine be gone after this too, back to joining with us? It's kind of all confusing. I guess we just have to wait and see. It seems like the Org is getting some chances to do things different now and well, if any can get away and not be gone...well I would hope we'd remember the outcome because what if some come after us later? I don't want there to be bad things that happen because some are not very nice at all." This was a worry now. There were some that were just plain rotten and had abused things as it was way worse than what others had done. He really hoped the Judge knew what he was doing and that the nightmare would be over and give those who deserved some chances to have them but others...they would hopefully not get out...and well, if they didn't remember this case, that was all the worse for preparing for it.

Kairi walked in, the wafting smell of delicious food filled the courtroom. Nodding at Sora, she began to distribute the food to all those who were hungry. She gave the Organization members a cheerful smile as she handed them two bags of Grande Meals for them to split among the twelve of them. Kairi even passed along the food to the defense, the prosecution and the judge...

She had no idea who the frilly guy was but she offered some food just the same.

Then she noticed Repliku sitting by himself. She walked up to him and offered him one of the mixed bags. "Hungry?" she asked with a friendly, non-threatening tone.

Sora went along with Kairi, distributing the food he also bought to people in an amiable manner and then went to sit down to finish up his empanadas. He watched Kairi and admired her heart to be that caring. He wasn't sure how her gestures or his would be taken but he hoped people would at least get a good meal out of it all. He also hoped the trials would continue again soon because this was taking soOoo long.

Repliku glanced up at Kairi and shook his head. "Don't feed the doll." He smirked. "Thanks for the offer but I'm not hungry."

Riku thanked Kairi and Sora for the food. "Thanks, guys" and sat down to eat it. Roxas was kind of out at the moment but he poked him a bit to see if he'd wake up and want something in his stomach beyond Skittles and rum.

Harvey smiled. "That was very kind of you. Thanks, Kairi." He then sat at the table and ate some of the food. Avenger hopped on the table and took whatever wasn't glued down that Harvey hadn't immediately laid claim to.

OOC: Ok... Repliku is the crickity old wizard with a voice creepier than Xemnas'.

Edgeworth was a bit suprised at how much was going on at the same time in this courtroom. There was a lot of things going on every where. He suddenly felt a blade graze inches from decapatating him. He flinched... turning around... "Dear god! He has swords in the courthouse? What's going on?" He appeared almost as if he seen a ghost, his eyes were wide, and it almost appeared as if his pupils shrunk to the point of nonexistance. "Is that your witness you granted immunity to?" He backed away from Roxas, and stood behind the prosecutions desk, wedging himself between the guy who looked like a "Super Friends" reject, and the thing with a vacuum tube on his neck and the oversized forehead.. For some odd reason, he always felt more comfortable behind that desk.

"Mr. Birdman I've been meaning to ask you a question, why did you take this case? I mean, I've heard that you volunteered, is there any reason in particular? Is it too win?" He asked quite frankly...

He then noticed the young lady asking him about food. "Sure, do you have the new chicken club chalupa?"

Xelax was suprised at the drunken outburst of Roxas. He said, "What? Axel, no I'm not.- OOF!" he fell down to one knee wincing in pain...

Kairi gave Repliku a slight nod. "Okay. Well, in case you change your mind..." She set a small bag consisting of a crunchy taco, soft taco and an Empanada beside him. Even if he wouldn't eat it himself, he could always offer it to someone else later. After flashing him another friendly smile (and giving Edgeworth the Chicken Club Chalupa), she trotted off to the others.

Naminé thanked Sora and Kairi and began munching on a bean burrito. It was best to have something in her stomach than nothing at all after throwing up. At least that's what she hoped anyway...

Harvey Birdman heard the question...why did he take the case...

    FLASHBACK SCENE

Harvey was sitting in his office flipping through his book and bored for work. Sebben had ran by after shooting some quail in the hall because it wouldn't spell potato right. Of course, it warbled and didn't spell -anything- but nonetheless, this was Phil Sebben.

In the door appeared a man and the room went dark. A large manilla folder was dumped in front of Harvey on his desk and Birdman jerked back. "What is this?"

<???> "It's a case. A big case. One that will give you much fame if you go through it and there's a lot of money involved."

Harvey peeked into the folder, not being able to see the weird person who was in the dark and blended in just fine. Within were profiles of the Organization XIII members and also a couple games. "You want to try some people for crimes that are from a video game???" He had heard a lot of weird things in his time but this was even more odd than usual. Avenger flew over and snatched one of the cds from his hand and began flapping around the room as if claiming it as prey.

<???> "Ah, it is a game, but it is also very real. It is the case of a life time. I wish to see justice done and am willing to pay well for it."

"How well?" Harvey had to inquire as he browsed through some more. Avenger was banging the cd now against his perch. "I'm going to need that, Avenger." Of course, the bird kept going.

Harvey felt a hand on his shoulder and then a voice whispered in his ear that conveniently was inaudible to anyone not there in that time. Harvey stood up and pointed his arm out all heroic like. "IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII'LL take the CASE!"

    PRESENT TIME

"It seemed that it was the right thing to do. Why do you ask?"

OOC: I think I have a feeling who asked him to take the case...

Edgeworth didn't buy it. It couldn't be that simple. Xelax was a mad defense attorney who would never lose this case. Anyone who took it on was sure to run his career into the ground. "I find that hard to believe Mr. Birdman." He turned to the side, grasping his chicken club chalupa in his hand, he glanced back at the current prosecutor. "Just remember one thing. Be careful what you prove and disprove in court. Once something is proven its added to the court record. If I were you I would check to make sure nothing was added which could hurt your case later." He unwrapped the chalupa and took a bite. Unsure of whether he should eat there, or go eat in his car.

OOC: You may be right, lol. Had to have some fun twist there.

Harvey arched a brow curiously. "Well, of course." He had a feeling he had better make sure after all as this man obviously was planning some scheme when the trials of the Organization members were over. But what...was....his ...game??? Harvey would figure it out or he was not named Harve... crap, he spilled his coffee. Harvey picked up napkins and quickly went to fixing the mess up and then threw out the mess in the garbage can. He then excused himself, got another cup of coffee and came back...sat down...and then gazed upwards. "What was I thinking again?...oh yeah. ..(image of sending suits to the dry cleaner)..wait, no..Oh that! (image of fixing up Avenger a new nest)...No, that's not been done for a year...Oh right! yyy Birdman!" His hand shot out and he almost once again hit his cup of coffee but stopped short of it and then went to straightening his tie. "Ahem".

Edgeworth was suprised at Harvey. He seemed to be too cynical of him. "Mr. Birdman, I trust you to do a fine job. Just don't forget the purpose of the court. Its to find the truth, not create it. Keep that in mind, and you can't fail." He took a final bite of his chalupa, and turned to walk away.

Axel made absolutely no attempt to stop Roxas as he saw -two- Axels and went berserk. He sat at the bench merely pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. He loved his buddy, sure he did. . . he loved his craziness and his tendency to react to something before thinking it through. However, sometimes, he just wanted to knock the lights out of him, and this was definitely one of those moment. Roxas was just wasted, and only because of that, Axel sat still, his free hand clenching onto his fist. He simply let the boy attack people in his drunken rage, and waited until he was finished and satisfied, for he really wasn't causing anyone any harm. When finally Roxas did once again pass out, thanks to Mr. Birdman, Axel finally made some movements, but Riku reached him first, carefully placing the sleeping boy in a chair. Letting Riku take care of poor Roxas, Axel finally took the first sip of his espresso. The hot, bitter liquid sent a shivering sensation of enjoyment through his body as he gulped the tiny amount down his throat. O, what a perfect cup of coffee! The blackest, the most bitter thing he'd ever tasted, and it was sensational. He was too busy enjoying his espresso to realize that Kairi and Sora had returned. He quickly took another sip minding his own business and paying attention to only his excellent coffee when suddenly Xelax came down to his knees in pain.
“Whoa! You ok dude?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.

Overhearing the conversation, Zack rolled his eyes. The truth? What did they know about the truth? Edgeworth seemed a hard act to follow, but something in his posture gave the impression that he knew more than he was telling. Something that would help the cloaked fool in the defense seat.

Why did everyone have to be so enigmatic these days? It was almost as if the audience in the courtroom had a secret that they were holding onto until the time was right to reveal it. Buncha dorks.

Pika_power groaned. Bloody hell, what is wrong with that guy? I give him clear instructions, yet he not only ignores me, but chats to my partner! If I stay around here much longer, I will go insane. Drunken witnesses, enigmatic men, demon lawyers, strange judges, unresponsive lawyers, more enigmatic men, winged lawyers, being assaulted by a bailiff in court. If I didn't have to follow the rules of pokemon, I would leave now!

Mewtwo slowly got to his feet, and glided soundlessly to the door. Pika_power couid take care of the next case. He had business to attend to.

  18. OOC: Alright, just go ahead with the charges and place them on Marluxia despite the fact of all we went through and there's no exact...change (in other words, you can ignore that PM, ICSP, since...well...:/). I'm sick of arguing it, so just slam the gavel and let Marluxia's case be over with because I won't be posting for while, and I can't go through all the charges once more. I read through a few and Erkz decision on page 61 (which was kind of hard, hopefully, ICSP will explain that part because I can't stay for long). There's no point.

Just needed to say this so the thread will get unstuck and not in recess forever. I'll see when I can get fully back on to continue, which I'm hoping I can get a few stuff done on the weekend and get back to the RPs I'm in soon ^^;. By the way, ICSP, if you would do me the favor and tell everyone at the WalMart RP of my absence and why I won't be on for that long or have been gone? (is because alot of who I RP with are there) And that I'll get back to their replies soon. I managed to make this post in writing, than type it for this thread to move xP.

Janexna couldn't believe it, or rather, still couldn't, ever since they went through recess and all this stuff been happening. Not even Axel talking was a distraction, because she loved his voice, just like everything else about him. This just really wasn't worth fighting for, since it was obvious that she was just running her mouth and didn't manage anything on the whole matter. Marluxia was just going to be blame for some things he even wasn't completely guilty for...which she was sure no one cared for except for her and Xelax, and that was the way, even the judge decided. She was tired, and she knew what she was expecting, yet she had hoped they will see some light on the case, at least the stupid charges as defacement and imprisonment. So now, Marluxia was responsible for objects he didn't know existed...right. Okay. And Sora had a choice, Naminé didn't have one, he wasn't trapped or imprisoned, he had a key to unlock anything, and yet, it was imprisonment, despite the fact that the prosecution's arguments rested on the redundancy on that he went one in the castle cause of the fact that people weren't there, or with the memoreis...didn't that fall on mental damage? That was still not imprisonment. Memories or not, Sora wasn't ripped away from choosing. Either way, screw it all, despite that she had a lot to say. Her trust on this court was slowly diminishing anyway. At least she provided evidence that it wasn't all just something made up.

Sitting down, she simply looked at the judge, and said with a tight face, "Just slam the gavel, your Honor."

And that was all she said, and after a last gaze on the person in charge she took her eyes off and went to eye Marluxia, who stared at a paper like if it said something that would frighten anyone to the bone. He must have noticed her gaze, because he soon made a connection. She actually felt kind of, tiny, little bit, barely even there, ant size bit sorry for him, as she knew this was all being slammed on him, even if she understood that he was guilty of most. If you're going to be accused of something, provide proof that the accusation is correct. Like the whole Repliku thing. If Vexen wouldn't listen to a order he gives him without being threatened with the Superior, what makes everyone think that Vexen was going to stop, despite the fact that Marluxia was informed and could've said to halt it, his test and doings? Pfft. That's nothing to threaten the Superior with for, since that was Vexen experimenting, like always. She had proved they never listened to Marluxia in the first place, or that just because Marluxia was in charge of the castle (in other words, taken care of it), didn't mean he had its power, or else Marluxia would've succeeded, and wouldn't have even needed Naminé in the first place, but this court wants to do what it wants to. She figured she would just be wasting her time if they couldn't see the absurdity of it all now.

"I told it was fine before, you decided to go through with it, though. I don't care what happens in this court, it holds no credibility for me, as I'm sure you're starting to see why..." Marluxia once again told her, seeing as she was kind of distressed, and he still could not understand why. After he got over the initial "shock" that he was suppose to be a girl, and that everything he's known was a lie...well, if he didn't care for whatever was given to him as punishment, he sure didn't now. That happens when you find out you were suppose to be a different gender and suppose to join Larxene. Thinking that he should enforce on what he was trying to say, he went to add, more quietly, "The fact that we are forced into this, and we're NOT asked whether to be tried by prosecution or even hiring defendants makes me wonder. Though I won't expose much on that..."

With a firm nod, he simply went to stand up, silently, almost proudly, waiting for what was to happen to him, to happen. It was obvious there was no more arguing, and whether or not some charges were uncalled for, he thought that the truth on what this court was doing and its crime would pop up, he knew he wasn't the only one who picked it up. Larxene basically gave it away, though she perhaps did not notice what a strong and liable point she was making in the process. With that, he awaited the judge's "GUILTY" yell as he stared at him blankly, feeling particularly nothing.

Janexna kept her eyes on him, trying to put together what he was saying at that point. Yet, she decided she will think about it after Marluxia got his verdict...as much as some of the charges made her question things.

OOC: She had eye surgury and its difficult for her to stay on the computer long. She will start coming in more often as they heal.

Edgeworth was self consious... the Baliff kept giving him wierd glances as he talked to Mr. Birdman, he wondered what it was all about.

Zack finally noticed Janexna showing some conscious movement and immediately whirled around at the judge. "SHE'S ALIVE!" he cried.

Kairi raised an eyebrow at Zack at the outburst. "Well, duh!" she muttered. Unfortunately, they were still on recess until the judge finally noticed.

Naminé rolled her eyes. Right. It wasn't like Janexna was dead. A bit starstruck at Axel and Marluxia, but she was very much alive. What concerned more was were they going on to Luxord next or...

"Did Edgeworth say after the trial or after the entire case?" Naminé asked.

Kairi narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "No...he wouldn't." If she was correct about his intentions, then the back-up she called would come in handy for the battle to come.
