~~*Organzation XIII goes to court*~~

Stitch noticed his tail burst alight, and in a deranged, powermad frenzy, hit his tail with the gavel. The fire instantly grew ten times bigger, and gained a greenish hue.

A yellow, blue, brown object flew through the window unnoticed, and landed behind Axel.

"Good choice. I would have hit the same target. Now, what starter did you choose?"

The pikachu patted the pidgey, and sent it back through the window.

Pika_power was back.

 

Riku arched a brow at the spectacle with the blue alien and then Axel adding some spice to the event. "oooookay" he muttered and smirked a bit. At least the case was somewhat amusing now. They needed a break in the monotony.

"Now that was totally unexpected!" Sora checked if the little blue guy was okay. "Stitch, are you alright?" He hoped so and that now the Marluxia matter was going to be resolved. He felt weird sitting up here separated from his other friends that were all waiting in the stands. He pondered if he'd be up here for Vexen's too or whoever else was next.

Repliku blinked in surprise and then let out a laugh. That little alien guy's tail got torched and his reactions were vastly amusing for some reason.

 

OOC: So Udgey-boy, is the judge finally going to wake up and do something about this or does the bailiff have to take matters into his own hands? :huh: Oh, and everyone was waiting for you to finally finalize the charges...

 

OOC: Udgey, have you been swimming lately? Yeah, I pmed him letting him know both sides were waiting for a verdict.

At the slam of the gavel, Erkz dove over the bench and into the aisle, screaming something along the lines of "MAYDAY! BOGIE AT TWO O' CLOCK! DO A BARREL ROLL FOX!".

He blinked as he realized where he was. He coughed before returning to his seat.

"My apologies for falling asleep on you all like that. Now, let's see here." he said, picking up the court record, and carefully poring through every inch of it. Getting distracted by the current spectacle, he slammed the gavel lightly, returning everything to it's proper place. Except Stitch, who was now locked in a safe which replaced the cage he was in earlier. Cracking his neck, he continued reading. Finally coming to a conclusion, having replayed the events of the Attorneys and Prosecutors deftly presenting their views.

"The final charges stand as follows. And no long, drawn out debates this time. I carefully analyzed the court record, and have reviewed and reassessed your charges as follows.

2 Counts of Child Abuse
5 Counts of Unlawful Imprisonment
1 Count of Attempted Coercion
1 Count of Mental Damage
1 Count of Murder
1 Count of Attempted Murder
2 Counts of Assault
Multiple [20+] Counts of Collateral Damage

Is this clear with everyone involved with the case?"

Erkz looked around at the members of the court, and noticed the crack in Mewtwo's gem. He lightly tapped his gavel, and the gem disappeared.

"Cookie for your good behavior," he said, smiling at Mewtwo.

He continued his surveillance of the court and raised his eyebrows at a person who must have entered while he was asleep. Shaking his head, he turned back to face the Prosecution and Defense.

"Once everyone has familiarized themselves with the charges, I will be ready to give my verdict."

 

The mysterious man was a bit suprised. 5 counts of unlawful imprisonment? Could the judge make that decision without the prosecution bringing it up and filing the charges? And more importantly... who was Fox? And why did he need to do a barrel roll?

 

Harvey listened to the Judge's decision and gave a nod. "I agree to hear the verdict to the charges mentioned, Your Honor." This of course meant the additional charges were tossed out but in his mind the Judge had done an admirable job adding in the collateral damage which could sum up the defacement and also the issues with those who suffered who were not present at the castle. These charges were not all of them but were the most important ones in Harvey's mind and also the most substantiated that were easiest to prove. He hoped that this would work out right and Marluxia would not get off with just an essay...though the essay did seem enough torment for Larxene. He was sure some punishment like that would be nothing to the pink haired guy that could pathologically care less that he was even there.

Sora listened to the Judge. He began to kick his feet against the chair lightly as his legs were losing circulation by sitting there for so long and not really moving. Now was the exciting part, to hear what the judge decided Marlie was guilty on. Sora turned and awaited the decisions.

 

Zack let out a sigh of disappointment. He was all ready to snap each and every single one of those 625 experiment's necks. And then maybe the little koala for good measure. Then the courtroom would be full of furry corpses. But that would mean he'd have to clean up the mess. On second thought, the judge had the right idea.

He wasn't thrilled that the judge removed the Psycho-Repressor from Mewtwo, but at the moment, he didn't care. His own Feedback Field was still in effect. And now that the pipsqueak was finally back in the courtroom, Zack wondered if he should "escort" the psychic prosecutor out of the courtroom now...

 

"I do not see how there are 20+ charges of colateral damage.... aside from that, the defense has already made a case which we feel is adequete. We are awaiting your verdict your honor."

 

150 looked at Pika_power, amazed he managed to get back so fast. Looking at Xelax, he asked "How is my case inadequate? Murluxia ordered Namine to do something she did not want to do. She had next to no control over the situation. It was not avoidable that everyone Sora knew got hit by the memory wipe. Murluxia gave her no choice. Regardless of whether he was aware of it or not, people suffered due to his criminal activities."

Pika_power leaped down to Mewtwo's side, and gave an angry grin to the opposition. "Hypocrite. Arguing with the judge is forbidden. Got it memorized? If you try to argue he-" Pika_power jabbed in the direction of the bouncer "will kick your head in. So, what were you saying?"

"Gooba cheecha tikiwawa!" Stitch called out in annoyance. What had he done wrong? Now the charges were being presented without him there. He hissed, and spat a gob of spit onto the wall of his prison. He dashed up to the spot bathed in spit, and started clawing it with four arms. Leaping back, he shot two rayguns into the same spot, before finishing the attack with a headbutt.

Roxas noticed a noise coming from the safe. He looked at it, bored. Could the keyblade unlock it? Forgetting the courtroom's power, he swung round into an unbalanced pose, ready to summon the keyblade and shoot the safe. After a few seconds of nothing appearing, he started to flail his arms about in an attempt to regain balance. It failed, meaning Roxas fell headfirst into the next row, onto Kairi's lap. Thank god Namine was out of the room and didn't see that. he thought, until he realized where he was.

 

Instead of shrieking and making a scene, Kairi just raised an eyebrow at Roxas. "Uh...what are you doing?" Without waiting for an answer she gently propped him upright. "Be careful next time, Roxas. Don't forget your limits."

Naminé wondered why her stomach kept growling. Every time she thought she was done with the toilet, she felt some more uncomfortable pressure building up in her stomach, forcing her to stay seated. "Geez, what'd I eat?" She glanced at the TV mounted inside the bathroom stall. "Well, at least I'm not missing anything important." She rolled her eyes at Roxas falling into Kairi's lap. "Like I said, nothing important."

Although he had personal gripes with the defense, Zack thought it was a bit unfair in the teams now. The prosecution had three members while the defense only had two. If things continued like this...

He eyed the newcomer in the audience. Something about him seemed like he was related to Xelax. Which means that if one of the Pokémon prosecutors didn't leave, the court would end up with a three-on-three match, and that was NOT going to happen. Zack tensed his fists in case he needed to "eliminate" one of the Pokémon prosecution. He always carried a few Master Balls in this situation after all...

The chaos only lasted a moment, but every minute of it was worth it. Axel settled down to his seat as his urge to lite things on fire crased. He sighed as he watched the tiny alien attempt to put out the fire by slamming the gravel on his tail when suddenly something flew by him and landed behind him, and much to his surprise, it was Pika_Power. NO WAY! OH EM GEE! IT WAS PIKA_POWE— wait a minute, wasn't he dead? Oh no, was it him who was seeing things now? Axel shook his head, believing it was only an illusion, and turned back to face the court. Judge Erkz had fallen asleep [nothing new there] again and had literally jumped out of his seat screaming random things once the court had slipped into chaos. Axel was suddenly getting all the amusement he wanted, and he loved it and held back his laughter when he saw how the Judge had returned to reality oh so suddenly, but was wise enough to not let out a peep. The last thing he'd want is to get on the Judge's bad side.
Coming to, Judge Erkz locked the alien away in a cage and read the charges laid against Flower Boy, and Axel was not exactly happy to see most of them being dropped. He let out yet another sigh and looked at the MewTow to find Mr. Power now sitting on top his shoulder, and talking to the Pokémon. . .

So. . . Mr. Power was really back, and it wasn't an illusion.

 

"Uhh, Roxas, what are you doing?" Sora glanced over at the goings on and shook his head. He knew Stitch was probably unhappy being caged up and all but then Roxas fell into Kairi's lap after failing to get anything happening with the keyblade. Sora hoped Kairi was okay at least.

Riku frowned a bit. Thinking over the Judge's decision, a lot of points were missing and Marluxia really could have been charged harder. Of course, the Defense decided to react by saying it was still too harsh and they had proof of things. So far though, they had been themselves caught in a lie that could have ended with a perjury charge, saying that Sora and all had closed the door and could leave whenever. They liked to play dirty but lacked in actual truths too often for his liking. He really didn't like lawyers that much and this was why. Twisting the truth was just wrong to him. The Judge had removed many charges but kept some core ones, and he hoped that those that remained would be made to be judged as guilty. Marluxia could easily have been labeled as he really was. It sucked that anyone not a lawyer couldn't set things straight but alas, that's how it went. Marluxia truly was getting off light with all the evidence presented to show how guilty he really was. Maybe the Judge was trying to go easy on the Org for things that had happened and their conditions, to let them have second chances after considerations of crimes and all. After all, they had died for what they forced others to do...including by their own hands. Riku had thought he could remain as neutral as possible in this trial, but in the end, he wasn't so sure now and realized perhaps he should put some trust in the Judge at least to be as impartial as a person could. He'd be examining the charges again in his mind for that reason.

Repliku just deeply sighed as the words from the Judge hit him. He shook his head. It was only too ironic that this had been said by Xelax. ""Replica Riku being manupulated was" he gulped "Larxene's idea, not Marluxia's." He sighed again, just disappointed in the Judge because Marluxia was in the room when it all happened and was clearly for it and obviously claimed to be overseer of it all when he disciplined Vexen. Larxene got away with not being charged because of the oversight and now Marluxia was too, even though Xelax admitted now, after the stupid blond's case, that it was a charge she should have had. So, in the end, the only one who was -maybe- going to get charged with anything was Vexen and this didn't seem right. It wasn't Vexen that came up with -that- and he was clearly pressured into it. Repliku knew it at the time though he was very angry and upset at Vexen for the stab in the back.

"I just don't understand. I am not just a doll. I'm a person." he shook his head and sank in his chair. He then sat up and walked out of the court room and took off a paper from a bulletin board and took a pen from a desk, and walked back in, sitting down. He then began to write on the back of the paper which was clean. He decided he knew what was right to do even though some might be upset at him for it while others would probably be happy. Those who would be happy, he'd wish would die in a fire but ah well. This charade had gone on long enough and he might as well end it in a bang.

Harvey looked at Pika Power and then at Mewtwo. Now there were two of them. "Guys, only one of you can team up with me now so make up your minds. We're not having a bigger contesting going on here than the two lawyers each, please." He looked over at Zack who seemed ready to make a decision on which Pokemon would be ousted. He had a feeling whichever one, if Zack had the opportunity to choose, would be leaving the 'hard' way.

 

Mewtwo looked at the coat wearing Pikachu. "Well, legally we can switch each case. After all, they are different cases. So if Pika_power took the next one, I could take the one after that, and so on. The pokemon not in action would be sitting down, unnoticed."

Pika_power took one look at the bailiff and muttered something about agreeing to the idea, then scuttled off to the bathrooms to look for Kairi.

"Sorry Sora..." Roxas muttered. "It was an accident. And you did almost get involved with Namine at Castle Oblivion."

He attempted to stand up off the bench, and got as far as straightening his back when he slipped on Goofy's cap, sending his face back to Kairi. "Oof!"

Sora blanched a bit. He did like Namine at the Castle Oblivion, but she also was causing his memories to reflect that he had known her. Her past though, now that he could recall that which she had implanted in his head at the time, wasn't the same as Kairi's. Maybe that was part of why it had felt so real. He liked Namine but of course...she was also a part of Kairi. Kairi was very special to him and well, he didn't really want to be called on the carpet here. "..." was about all he could say.

"Roxas sure can run after making an ass of himself." Riku smirked and cracked his knuckles. It was funny to see Roxas do something so humiliating and now to watch Sora go pale as he hoped Kairi would not ask about this or change her mind of him. Riku was pretty sure Kairi knew most of it any way after things had been explained so thoroughly here.

Harvey gave a nod of comprehension. "That's fine, but you need to declare at the start of each case which one of you is going so there's no confusion, please.' *said to the pokemeisters.

 

OOC: "It" may be first gen, but transferred over to the next-gen, it gains a gender. And the only way it can exist outside of the Color series is if it transfers over. Or else "its" existence is obsolete.
