"But what about other people? I may live for a while yet. Pokemon do not currently have lifespan. I am only pressing the Xemnas charge. All I have said is that Murder is a public charge, it cannot be dropped on the will of one person. It wiill not take long. My argument has little place for alterations, I am arguing that the murder cannot be dropped, or if it can, I have the right to press it."

OoC: Erkz/*TN*/ICSP, can we deal with this point quickly and move on?

"At this point, I can't really push for the charge if Xemnas wishes to drop it on Larxene. You can fight for it, but I truly just don't think there's a need. I would rather have a sentence charged on Larxene and move the case along because in truth, with the charges already accumulated she will be put away for a while and can be helped to try to make her better, and if not, they will handle it in the future. You can take it up with the judge though. I just don't feel it's the right thing to do." Harvey could understand why the Pokemon was so vigilant and persistent in this but at the same time, he just wasn't feeling it himself. He knew Larxene was clearly a sadist and all, but he couldn't help but wonder if she might have been a different person were it not for what the Organization had done to her, and Marluxia. Had she ended up in some other situation instead, was she so condemnable? He didn't think it right until after she had some time in a setting away from the others, to condemn her for life imprisonment. The pondering question of how long a Nobody might endure also struck him as he could imagine it could be a while if they in fact did not age.

Also, if they needed their Hearts back...well some prison and rehabilitation to hold them would be a good thing while people could perhaps try to help find their missing Hearts so that the whole person could be analyzed later. Maybe it was a mission that the heroes who were here as witnesses might uptake if he put it to them right at the end of this trial. Then those Nobodies here would have something to look forward to that they would receive aid and could work on their personalities and beliefs a bit more, even if they lacked hearts for other things. It was something that might be an intriguing proposition because then ...things might turn out right for them. He could not help but feel at least some sympathy for the Org, even if they handled things in such a rotten way.

Ooc: This gives me such an idea for an Rpg after this. lol

The judge finally snapped and threw a rock at the PokeMon Prosecutor.

"Weren't you paying attention? All Xemnas did was ask THIS court to drop the charges. Most likely, the charges aren't going to be dropped per-se, they're just going to be tried in a different court, namely Xemnas's, using different methods. If their Superior, Xemnas, wishes to take responsibility for their actions and try them himself, we cannot deny him that right! That would be as aghast as trying to try Ursula for attempted murder, whilst King Triton wished to do it himself. It's like fighting over who gets to place the blame on whom. Non-sensical, irrational and redundant."

Erkz, disgruntled, and annoyed at himself for having burst out like that, grabbed a bottle of Pepsi from the ice-box under the bench, and downed it in one go.

    "ow!"

    Pika_power is watching carefully.

"Uh, didn't Xemnas' rule exist through force and a steel fist? Also, hasn't Malificent taken over his castle? So he lacks a kingdom, and considering he is on charges along with all of his subjects, I doubt any of them can practice law at the moment. So I ask, what court?

Oh, and if King Triton lacked his world, all his subjects had left or were on charges and he was a dictator on charges himself, yes, I would charge Ursula."

The pokemon watched as he downed a Soda in one gulp. Not impressed, the pokemon got out a bitter root and chewed it thoroughly before swallowing. The bitter jolt gave him a thought.

"Judge, you lie to me. Here is everything Xemnas said:

-"Aha!" Xelax finally unfolded the documant he was holding for the longest time. "This is a notarized document signed by Xemnas. Saying he is willing to drop the charges of conspiracy and attempted murder against him. Marluxia and Larxene cannot be charged with this crime."

Thinking deeply, his nonchalant expression raised up to meet the judge's directly as he opened his mouth, slowly replying, "I have decided to..." He thought it over once more, making sure he was making the right move. "Drop them."

Where does it say he would charge them in his own court? Judge, I suspect you are biased, taking the side of the defense."

OoC: Since the judge attacked Pika with a mechanism in pokemon games, can Pika attack back using a mechanism in the Anime?

OOC - Hellz no, I don't want a seizure. XD Try an alternate game mechanic or something.

The judge frowned at the pokemon.

"... I never said he would charge them in his own Court. I said -MOST LIKELY-." the judge said, tossing the bottle into a nearby garbage. "Are you accusing me of perjury, Mr. Power?"

And in response to the pokemon's first question, he added.

"Also, are you somehow implying that you support the theft of one's home? Granted the situation, I'm sure Xemnas can legally reobtain his home at any time."

  6. OOC: Guys, this seriously should've ended the first moment Erkz posted the decision after he went through all that was posted (for some reason, I feel for him on that D: ) except for the Xemnas confirmation, don't freaking run this to the ground, is not like these are the real Organization members (though I'm trying to keep Larxene in character). Please, Erkz just ignore what's happening now, and continue where you left off or something if you haven't changed anything, I beg of you :/. Then we have to wait until the next time you show up and we won't be able to continue.

OOC: At this point I agree. It has been drawn out enough and let's just move on to the next person. It's obvious it is getting rather exhausting and this has a lot of potential to be fun if we'd try to keep level heads and keep it moving. I think Larxene is done as all points have now been brought up and just off of Larxene all the data we had to do and the work, it's more like researching for college work I do at this point than Rpg entertainment.

Also, I'm sorry for asking Xemnas's actions but I thought at the time it would be appropriate to move it along and he wasn't asked prior. It was stated that ICSP just pulled out the papers without even asking the person who ran Xemnas. So it gave you a chance to put his opinion out there. It wasn't meant for added stress. =:/

"Ahem. Xemnas said he would drop the charges. Nothing relating to this court, or the one he supposedly has. All he said was that he would drop the charges. You are gifting him with a court he does not have, nor claim to have.

As for Xemnas reclaiming the world that never was, Malificent can legally claim it, after all, Xemnas did die. Also, who will be judge ? Every minion Xemnas has is in court, here.

His world is in tatters. It would take a good while to gather an unbiased court for his world, even longer to legally battle to reclaim his world, on top of time he will likely spend in prision.

We have already started charging Larxane here. Xemnas has no kingdom currently. He is the ruler of nothing.

Also, where was Castle Oblivion situated? Not in TWTNW, so Xemnas does not get control over crimes commited there. I suspect we do, considering we have just been charging Larxane.

I see no reason why we should not get the right to charge her for conspiracy to murder. The conspiracy was formed in Castle Oblivion.

Are you saying that Xemnas can take all his subjects and say 'okay, I will charge them myself.' and get them off the hook?

Xemnas is in no postiiton to request something like having juridiction over his own subjects. He is a fallen dictator. We are trialing him. How can he judge others fairly?"

Harvey sighed. "Xemnas cannot technically 'try' the members of the Organization anymore as he himself may have charges against him and his dominion over Nobodies is over."

"However, if Xemnas was in charge, he would have killed them. This we know pretty well for fact. He had very stringent rules on the Nobodies."

"The point comes to this in simple. He -would- have punished them -at the time- had he known and they were not already deceased because of their plans. However, it is after the fact, they have enough charges against them and this -is- our court. We can condemn the Organization members for harming and killing other Organization members. They were wrong to do so. BUT the Organization is also on trial for the wrong doings THEY did. This makes it a vicious circle to prove whether Xemnas and his side are right or Marluxia and Larxene were right, or Axel and Roxas were right, etc. In the end, I simply conclude that NONE were right in it and therefore judging them for acts against each other is folly."

"I hope that makes sense as I really think we are done here and that if we want to try them, in fairness, since all of the Organization against each other were not as mutual etc, it means to try them separately. However, with acts against one another, I believe we are talking about acts of people without Hearts, but strong memes to do things. We cannot justify Xemnas's leadership style. We cannot justify that those under him were not with his grand design and so rebelled because it seems two of them at least were out for power. So in the end, let's move this on. I am doing as Xemnas requested and I say the charges involving the conspiracy to murder Xemnas and other members of the Organization be dropped."

"I am sorry, Pika Power, but let's focus on the next person...and someone PLEASE get me some more coffee."

  10. OOC: Is fine, don't worry. The only stress was that I had to make a decision that is befitting, since I'm going to have to sacrifice one side, so I'm going to displease whichever way you put it, and I had to think very well what would be in character, whether Xemnas would've taken it upon himself, the court, etc., because I did not want to be unfair and biased. Despite the fact that it was dropped anyway, I had to think to make sure it was the right thing to conclude.

The judge slammed his head on the desk.

"Uuugh... Mr. Power. I can't believe you're making me do this..."

He then pulled out a cell-phone, and dialed a number before placing it to his ear.

    "You heard everything, right? ..."
    "..."
    "... wait, wha-"
    "..."
"... interesting... so even without it, the charge can't exist?"
    "..."
"Fascinating. Also wonderful. We can kill two birds with one stone."
    "..."
    "... I see. Thank you."

He then turned to the Pokemon.

"With or without Mr. Xemnas's letter, there is no Attempted Murder Charge. The possibility of them doing so does not exist. I quote my legal aide. 'Attempted murder is only the planning of a murder and acts taken towards it, not the actual killing, which is the murder.' The steps taken by the defendant, Mr. Power, were not to murder Xemnas, but to overthrow the Organization. Had their plan come to fruition, they'd have been charged with manslaughter, if Xemnas had been killed in the attempt. But it did not even get to that point."

    He then coughed before continuing.

"At the request of the majority, there will be no further deliberation on this topic. The charges stand as follows:

1 Count of Aggravated Assault (Sora)
3 Counts of Child Abuse (Sora, Namine, Repliku)
2 Counts of Coercion (Sora, Namine)
1 Count of defacing private property. (Sora)

Now, though I'm afraid to ask this, are there any further problems with the charges as they are now? Also, note that the Xemnas murder thing will not be accepted as an excuse to further prolong this trial" - The judge glared daggers at the yellow pikachu at this point - "and evidence must be presented to contest the charges at hand."

    He awaited the others' responses.

  12. "I think that sounds about very fair, your Honor. I would argue more on the property as Larxene didn't defaced it, whether to be planning, which still wasn't clear, and doing so is different, but it is something minor, and I'm not going to force to change it. Otherwise...that's it, really. If the prosecution doesn't have any qualms about the trial, we won't either...." Janexna replied, trying to keep her voice straight and calm from the nervousness that had built up when Mr. Power kept arguing a point that was considered moot already. Though now that she heard the charges, she found it just right. Larxene didn't get off clean, but it was perfect for what she had committed. The Savage Nymph was going to have some facts of coercion in there, though instead of Naminé, who wasn't really coerced by Larxene in opinion due to Marluxia's threat, she would've put Repliku. But it'll still be two accounts in the end, no matter. All in all. Just right.

She rubbed her arm then, fighting off a yawn as to not show disrespect.

Larxene, a bit surprised at Xemnas's final decision, made her face dig into her arms again, hiding it from view, her eyes shut as she thought over what has been going on since her trial started. Something told her it wouldn't be that easy though...meaning, on Xemnas's part. Maybe it was her distrust, dislike, but the conclusion of the Superior didn't rise in respect at all. Yet, she started to seriously wonder what would become of them after this court. Mr. Power kept complaining about them living near him, but really, these people seem to live in different universes. Where they belonged, they were welcomed and could exist, not to mention they had their own world to live in away from others. As far as she knew, they never hurt people or killed them, except destroying Heartless, which many do...and it wasn't like the Organization was going to be renewed after the past disaster of what a "organized" group it was. And they were dead. They were suppose to be dead, but they were here, to be on trial. She didn't think it would ever make sense to her.

Marluxia just kept his stare on Xemnas sharply, not surprised or seeing him in a new light, but turned back his attention on the end of Larxene's trial, which will hopefully be the end. It had gone long enough, even for himself to watch.

OOC: I still don't see how having your mind screwed over and rewritten is not utter ultimate mind rape, let alone coercion. She and Marluxia forced him. It was very clear he didn't want it. I'm sure Repliku could -wish- he was coerced as nice as Namine was. She may have gotten words and some beat downs but Repliku's whole mind was taken and warped. But meh, just to move on I drop the issue after this. Basically either way, whatever erkz says, Harvey's done with his betching.

Harvey let out a sigh. "I do not see why Repliku's scenario is still not permitted under the coercion factor considering they did in fact force him to give up his very mind and memories, whether Vexen 'permitted' it under a situation of stress or not. If a parent says it is okay that two friends load his kid up on liquor, cocaine and acid, and some mental drug to make him trip out and unleash him on others to watch for amusement, don't you consider that just a bit messed up? Coercion was the LIGHT way to go on this. It not only messes up the child at that moment, but also what about his later life? I am very lost how you do not even see this at all. However, even though I feel you are being very slanted in this decision, and also dropped the intent to murder to Aggravated Assault... I ask this one last time to change this decision as it is clearly unlawful."

"However, if you insist on not doing so, I am going to go ahead and say fine and just let this move on and hope that you are more reasonable when it comes to Marluxia and Vexen on the point. So, I will rest the issues." Harvey shook his head. Whether the man changed his mind or not, he was giving up his right to fight it anymore because things had gone on long enough. However, he had no idea how anyone would say it was fine and dandy.

    The judge cleared his throat.

"If it pleases you, I will rewrite the aggravated assault charge as attempted murder, if you deem it so serious. However, I cannot charge her with the coercion of Riku Replica when his Guardian felt that it was in Riku Replica's best interests to have this happen. Vexen's and Riku Replica's attitude toward the act was the same attitude a parent and child would have towards said child having an injection at a doctors office. Do you understand my point of view on this, Mr. Birdman?

    So therefore :

1 Count of Attempted Murder (Sora)
3 Counts of Child Abuse (Sora, Namine, Repliku)
2 Counts of Coercion (Sora, Namine)
1 Count of Attempted Criminal Damage. (Sora)"

OOC - The last charge, I changed because I felt that the other one didn't work as well. Had I known about this other charge, I'd have gone with it from the beginning. Treat it as the same charge.

"Except the memory wipe has proved itself to do mental harm to Repliku. He ended up throwing his life away on a battle with Riku, due to the discovery of his old self. It has proven that the memories did not help Repliku, but caused him to almost go insane. it is like the doctor scenario, except the doctor wants to inject the boy with the T-virus, and the boy knows full well what it will do, and struggles."

The pokemon listened to Erkz. He wondered if Tron could replicate the Electric soldier porygon episode.

"They distinctly said 'take on Xemnas' now, Xemnas is a powerful individual. He can turn Nobodies into Dusks. He iwas the lord of nothing. How can you interpret 'take Xemnas on'? They cannot do what they did to DiZ, and seal him in the realm of Darkness, He can dark-portal. No matter how you look at it, if they intended to 'take Xemnas on' it must have been murder, or keeping him sealed unconcious.

As the least, they would get conspiracy to assault."

    xD shyte that's long.... O_O

OOC: Oh, LOL. :D My posts are like a brief [xD] summary of what's been happening for the past few pages (in POV of Axel, of course). xD Meh....

Axel was awaiting Mr. Power's response after he'd thrown the paper ball, through all the nonstop jabbering of the defense lawyers and the prosecutors. Nothing seemed to get through his head any longer, completely ignoring every word that came out of Janexna's mouth, as well as Larxene's. Whatever happened to him listening to her trial. . . However, he couldn't help but turn his attention to back on the case and on Larxene when she so spontaneously pleaded guilty to all her charges and wished to end her trial then and there.

“What the f—” Well, that certainly was unexpected. Axel's face looked at Larxene in surprise and awe, as to Larxene was not the type of woman to give up on anything so easily. She must be high, he thought, noting else explained this sort of behavior from her.

The entire court room had slipped into silence, followed by a slight murmur from the spectators as Xelax only stared and Janexna attempted to protest, only to be. . . oh no, fired by Larxene. Had she gone mad? Axel's eye twitched as Larxene spoke those words. She didn't wish to be defended, and she was sick of it all? He for one, believed that Larxene was one who'd fight for her innocence till the end, oh how wrong he was. This was indeed an interesting turn of events. Though she was correct on a few matters. He understood her seasoning, he supposed, they were brought from the dead, only to be tried and be sent back, what was the point. . . He snapped out of his thoughts as Riku's voice— n-no wait, Repliku's voice rang across the room, only to give Larxene a piece of his mind. Hmpf, like that was going to make a difference. Larxene wasn't even going to bother with the words of someone she considered to be a doll, heck, she wasn't even bothering with the words of her damned lawyers! What in the world made him think she might heed his? Pity.

Axel had now been sitting at the edge of the chair, he'd completely forgotten about the GameBoy resting in his hands, he was just concerned on whether or not Larxene was willing to play along or have her own way, goodness, even the Prosecutors seemed to advice her against her decision. But it seemed that her mind was pretty much made up as she told Repliku to shut the hell up (did he NOT see this coming?) and threaten to burn her official papers. Great, more threats and violence in court. . . where has the law gotten to in this century. Axel couldn't help but facepalm himself on her actions. Did she not realize that her acceptance of all charges would result in him not being able to see her any mo—

Snap out of it. Now's not the time.

As far as Larxene's trial went, it seemed to end pretty fast [xD], and it only ended with her pleading guilty of all charges, what a shame. . . and for once, Axel was left speechless, though not for long. It didn't take long for Larxene to calm down and hand the papers back into Janexna's hands, who seemed to know what she was doing (considering she was dealing with a very pissed off Larxene, props to the girl), and offered Larxene a sit between her and Xelax. . . and oh good, just in front of Axel, how quaint. The Nymph took her seat next to Xelax silently, still eyeing the young female attorney. The matter seemed to be settled, and Larxene's case was now on the verge of being closed. All was well, and now the lawyers began to summerize all her charges stock them into one pile, while at the same time attempted to either increase or decrease her charges.

Axel sighed and leaned forward, still sitting at the edge of his chair, he rested his chin on the wooden railing, his eyes peering at the blond woman in front of him. He loved the clean-cut structure of her face, and that seductive smile of hers— wait what?! Why was there a seductive smile on her face? What the ~hell~ was she doing? His eyes narrowed dangerously as his eyes followed her slim finger touch Xelax's lip. . . W-what?! This was not happening. How could she do that in front of him, him?! He was right behind them for goodness sake. He gritted his teeth, his fists clenched tightly, he leaned in closer, almost wanting to pry the two apart, and before he knew it, he slipped from his seat and fell on the floor with a loud thud. “I'm okey.” He mumbled, getting up. “I'm just fine.”

Apart from the outrage and frustration he felt from seeing the touchy-feely bit going on in front of him, he couldn't understand why he felt the way he did in first place. Note to self: Kick Xelax's @ss after this. Still glaring at the two in front, he took his seat and awaited the Judge's verdict. The unfortunate thing was, that even though Larxene had given up on her case, the prosecutor still wished to lag this on and on, and on, and on. . . How much longer? Good god, now Xemnas was dragged into this, and Axel did a facepalm again. It never ends! That Pikachu sure had it in for them!

There were two things now pulling him, the Pikachu and his ego, along with the verdict on one side, and Larxene flirting with Xelax on the other side. Where should he pay attention to? One side would determine if she should be anywhere near him, while the other side was just. . . DISTURBING. It was as if Axel was cross-eyed, one on the two in front of him, and the other on the Judge and the freakin' Pokemon (give it up already!). Larxene accepted her charges, what else do ye need? When the Judge finally did give his verdict, Axel literally did a virtual jig in his head, for the charges were minor, and the chances are he'll still have her close by after all this. . . not that he wanted her close by, oh no, not at all.

Axel was once again distracted from his thoughts as he detected the the slight shock of lightning Larxene had sent up Xelax's body, making him twitch, and Axel slammed a fist on the wooden railing lightly. Fine! Two can play at that game!

“Hmm. . . Psst!! Janexna! Great job on that trial. I was watching you the entire time.” He winked. “By the way, I love you hair, it looks. . . sexy on you. Commit that to your memory."

OOC: Holy fack... that was one hell of a long reading, *rubs eyes* All that was posted in 3.5 days (6 pages). O_O Daymn, but I'm SO glad to see we're done with Larxene. *sigh* If this keeps up, then it's going to be YEARS before we reach Xemnas.... *shrugs*

Kairi felt emotionally drained at the moment. "Please...for the sake of the universe...just let it rest already..." She was so tired that lustful thoughts of Sora started swimming through her mind. Especially this one bondage fantasy she had...

Naminé couldn't believe that the judge even asked them if it was okay. In fact, she was surprised Mr. Xelax was totally calm with all of this. But seriously. Enough was enough. Of course, she couldn't say anything for fear of being held in contempt.

OOC: So you guys cool with me just playing the bailiff or something? It'd give me something else to focus on instead of this whole stalemate of a court. I mean, you five have custom characters. And ICSP DID give me permission. I promise I won't directly interfere with the trial. But I'll only do it if you guys are okay with it.

a bailiff is an officer employed to execute writs and processes, make arrests, keep order in the court, etc.

he makes sure that no one is going THAT crazy in there. =D
