OOC: Alright, but it's getting hard to find things to talk about as Kairi and Naminé. I don't suppose there's any way I can get a custom character (since the five of you all have at least one)? :p Maybe as an audience member or something...

And if you hadn't gotten that Naminé mastermind argument, would you have never been able to find another angle?

BIC:

Kairi was getting impatient. She could've easily yanked Sora out of the courtroom, made out with him and returned before this trail got anywhere. Seriously, what were they waiting for?

Naminé could sense Kairi's impatience. It could've been cramps. But she was getting slightly impatient as well. With the Pokémon prosecutor trying to separate Axel and Roxas, the entire trial ceased to a halt until the Judge did something about it. Wasn't there a way they could just ignore Mr. Power's pleas? After all, Roxas had to tell the truth under oath. He wouldn't uphold justice, would he? Besides, Roxas could easily plead the fifth...right?

She glanced at Larxene again. Maybe her punishment would be to get Mind Crushed and have her mindless body shipped to Japan where they would use her as a lawn ornament or something. Either that or a table dancer in New York... The image made Naminé giggle silently.

 

The pokemon could sense the bad auras emnating from people. "Fine, fine... Leave the Akuroku couple together." He muttered bitterly.
Pika_power then changed the subject entirely, by saying "Has anyone here got warpaint?"


OoC: only four of us who have custom. Unless you count Erkz... I suppose you could bring in a character, but they would have to stay being no one, just a passerby interested. (the teams are balanced so far!)

 

Demyx finished his M&M's, but ended up just as bored as before. A moogle could master DDR before we even finish with Larxene! Finally, in order to kill some boredom, he turned to Axel and Roxas, asking "Hey guys, what's up?"​

 

“Un . . . dead.†He smiled. “Not dead, princess, I'm un-dead. Got it memorized?â€
Axel popped a few more M&M's into his mouth as he intently listened to the Roxas about this Prophet Nomura. He nearly choked on one of the M&M's when hearing that there was a rumor going on about him, which even HE wasn't aware of. A somebody?! When did this happen? His jaw dropped to hear of this news.
“Just who is this so called Prophet?†He blurted out. His eyes were as confused as ever, and the look on his face was priceless. “No, no, no, no! This cannot be the last time we see each other like this! Why was I not aware of this before? Who else knew about this?â€
Axel ran a hand through his red spiky hair, a little nervous but very worried and panicked about how his life will completely change after this case. He was going to turn into his somebody, who was apparently named Ale. This was not cool, considering that he would in fact lose Roxas in that process. “You can't be serious!â€
Axel slipped into a whole new type of thought. Sure it was pretty cool to hear that he would return as his somebody, but the loss in comparison was too big as well. He rubbed his chin as he pondered, this was quite a complex matter. He snapped out of his thoughts once more when Roxas offered to introduce Naminé (did he not know she was under his care after the events of Twilight Town?), and say a little hi & hello to Sora and Riku. Axel shrugged . . . sure why not? His butt was starting to hurt from sitting down for so long, and any movement would be good. He stood up, getting ready to leave, literally ignoring the words of disapproval from Pika_Power as he complained to the Judge. Giving the Pikachu a very evil glare, Axel gestured Roxas to lead the way.
"Apparently I'm being turned back into my somebody, rumor has it." He replied to Demyx while he waited for Roxas to make his move.

 

Roxas looks over in surprise at Demyx. He smiles at him and askes "who are you again?" With that, he stands up and shows Axel over to the 'good guy' seats.

Roxas collapsed onto the seats, Axel beside him. He wondered how Namine would take being introduced to Axel. He had set her free, but he also kept her captive... He discarded his worries and blurted out "Hey Nanime, I mean Namine, this is Axel, he says he knows you."

 

"... Huh?" he asked confusedly. "Hey where are you going? Can I come too? I'm bored!" He stood up right before Roxas asked who he was. "You don't remember me? I'm hurt!" Demyx looked sad for a second, but quickly returned to his usual cheerful self. "Anyways, I'm Demyx!" He held out his hand. "Nice to meet you! Again...."​

 

Roxas looked Confused. He had not seen Demyx cross the room, yet he was now standing in front of him. "Uh, hi Demyx..." tentatively, Roxas shook his hand. He was getting strong vibes from Sora. "By any chance did something happen between you and Sora?"

He scratched the back of his head nervously. "Well, he yelled at me a lot and then he killed me... He was kinda rude..." He then realized something. "Is someone gonna get mad about me hanging out with you guys?"​

 

Roxas grinned at Demyx. "Yeah, he does that sometimes. He tends to go off at people. Did you do anything to annoy him?"

Roxas quickly left Demyx to think and tried again to introduce Namine and Axel. "C'mon Namine, he is not so bad when you get to know him. He ate seasalt icecream with me on the clock tower!" Roxas then wondered why he said that.

 

Naminé was in sheer disbelief. Roxas left the prosecutor's side and ended up bringing both Axel and Demyx with him. And when Roxas tried to introduce Axel to her, she shook her head in amusement.

"Roxas, I already know Axel. More than you think. We traveled a bit together after you merged back with Sora."

OOC: According to the KH2 Novels...

"But I don't get it, why did you bring them here for? Aren't they supposed to stay in the defendant's seats?" Naminé smiled meekly at Demyx and Axel. "No offense, of course."

When Axel and Demyx showed up, Kairi stayed silent. She was more worried about how Sora would react to seeing these two near him again. From what she heard about him, Demyx was one of those guys that was just as ditsy as Sora himself. As for Axel, she really didn't know what to say to someone who kidnapped her to use as bait. She felt slightly satisfied, though that she had escaped by shoving him directly in the "fireballs." It didn't help that she was immediately captured by Saix, though. But all in all, she heard from Sora that Axel was sorry for what he did to her. So, there wasn't really any reason to hold any animosity toward him...

 

"Well I think he was mad at me for stealing something... But I think he went a little overboard..." Demyx saw Kairi and Namine. "Hi!" If he was some sort of anime character, his face would have looked like "^_^". He liked meeting new people.​

 

Kairi gave Demyx a shy smile. "Um...hi, Demyx."

Naminé didn't know what else to say either. "Hello, Demyx."

OOC: Seriously, what else could they say? :xp:

 

OOC: Im going to pre load some basic questions for when Larxene takes the stand... usually the judge ask for the name and occupation, then the person who called the witness ask some basic quesions... I'm not sure if thats breaking the rules, but I want to keep this thing moving in case Erkz and *TwilightNight* sign on while I am out.

"Ms. Larxene, I would be highly interested in your version of the story, could you please let the court know what that is? Tell me the events you recall from castle oblivion, more specifically, the events involving yourself, Namine, and Sora." Xelax asked. He asked them in a way quite different. His voice was warm, and friendly, almost compasionate. One watching would have never have guessed him to be the same overly excited man who cross examined Namine just moments before.


OOC: Ok... back in current time...

"Demyx, Axel, you don't have to answer anything..." Xelax cautioned. He wondered why Roxas would admit he was willing to testify for the prosecution, yet be so friendly... Wouldn't Axel hold a grudge? Since Roxas held his keys to freedom for ransom.

 

Naminé could almost sense what Mr. Xelax was thinking at the moment. So she voiced it to Axel. "I think Mr. Xelax is wondering why you wouldn't have any animosity toward Roxas since he's a witness for the prosecution," she stated. "However, you ARE best friends, right? I mean, I'd understand if you were slightly ticked, but despite what your defense attorney thinks, just remember that the witness is supposed to tell the truth, no matter how painful it might sound. And no matter what happens..." She glanced over at Roxas. "...you always need mutual friends after all."

 

“Hey . . . Naminé.” He said meekly. “You're doing quite well.”
Axel could feel the strange gazes and glares he was receiving from this side of the room, but he decided to ignore all that. Kairi too seemed a little uneasy by his presence, along with Demyx, but Axel was well aware of why Kairi might twitch or flinch with his presence, he after all did kidnap her in the hope that she might pave a path for him through Sora, which eventually might've lead him to Roxas. His plan had obviously failed, considering he did die.
“Er, yeah Roxas, I knew Naminé from Castle Oblivion and she did spend a brief time with me wandering through the darkness once you merged with Sora.”
Axel scratched his head, wondering what else he could say. The atmosphere was getting a little awkward. However, even through the awkwardness, he switched his attention to Kairi, who was still giving him some rather confused glances.
“Hi, again.” Giving her a weak smile. What the hell was he thinking back in KH2? And without thinking, he blurt out his apology to her (though which of course was still arrogant and cocky), which he never really had the chance to do so in person, “Just for the record, I really was sorry . . . I mean! I-I still am.”
He couldn't even speak correctly and he virtually facepalmed himself. What the hell was that? He was a little stumped to hear Naminé's question, and he gave her a couple of blank stares before speaking.
"I won't say anything on that subject, Naminé. There are things that I've done which can't be altered now, and you know, more than anyone that I do regret my actions, but what Roxas wants to say as the witness, and either he wants to testify against me or not, is solely up to him."
Lie. Cold and a lie. He only hoped that he avoided the question. It was the last thing he wanted, to answer that question truthfully.

 

Roxas's face fell. Could his friend really believe that he would betray him? He sighed, then quickly reformed his face and winked at Namine. "Ah, hit it on the dot! That's the thing. All I saw of Axel was him trying to kill me, right? Well, DiZ also saw this. If I testify, I can add details DiZ (at this Roxas wiped his mouth) may not reveal. Details such as I being doomed anyway, and Axel trying to give me a nicer depature. This way, I get amnesty, and I can cover Axel's butt." yaoi thoughts suddenly filled Roxas's head. Blushing, he stared at the floor and Stuttered "Uh, that was not what I meant..." He could imagine Namine's face loosing its worry.

 

Kairi couldn't help but giggle at Axel's stammering apology. "Don't worry about it, Axel. In the end, you did save Sora's life. Granted you should've just took me to Sora instead of trying to do the whole Heartless thing, but I forgive you." She gave him a quick hug.

Naminé was a bit concerned when Roxas started stammering as well. It didn't help he was blushing either. "Roxas..." She crossed her arms in mock annoyance. "Is there something that you aren't telling me?"

 

Xelax slumped over, face down on his desk... "Um... Axel, please consult your Lawyer before speaking to the prosecution's witnesses."

"Thanks Roxas . . . I think" He said raising an eyebrow. He was not sure how to take this in. Hearing Xelax in the background, he waved his arm, asking for a another moment, it wasn't like he was giving any information on their defense away. However, when he did turn back, Kairi, first accepting his apology, gave him a quick hug, which threw him off guard. This was something he didn't expect.
"Wow . . . ok." he said blushing a little.

 

Demyx heard Xelax's comment. "See? I knew we'd get in trouble for hanging out over here!"​
