~~*Organzation XIII goes to court*~~

Roxas finally looked up at Axel, and remembered what Axel had done. He stood up slowly and made his way across the courtroom to the other box, trying to ignore the stares of the org, Riku, Sora and Namine.
He was caught between a rock and a soft place. go to Axel, his friend who gave his life for him, who tried to kill him, who was still helping the org, who he knew for most of his life, or Namine, Sora and Riku? Although he disliked Riku for imprisoning him, he supposed it was for the best, and he did save Roxas from DiZ... Sora was his other, half of himself. It was only through him that he could feel fully alive. Namine...
His thoughts were interrupted as he reached Axel. He awkwardly sat down next to him. A silence followed, which Roxas broke by joking "Axel, you showoff, we could have taken on those Dusks!"

Pika_power kept interest in Roxas. Why was he standing up? The pokemon watched in disbelief as Roxas walked over to Axel in a daydream. Pika_power tugged on Harvey's arm. "Did you see that? One of our witnesses went over to a defendant! Is that legal?"
The pokemon stood up, and faced the judge. "Judge, one of the defendants is speaking to a witness. He could potentially be trying to coerce the witness into changing his views. For the good of the case, kindly separate them!"

OoC: Hurry Roxas and Axel, Pika_power does not want you together.

 

Xelax scratched his head, concerned of what was going on with Larxene, he turned towards his associate, "Janexna... what's going on with Larxene? Does she want to testify?" Seeing Janexna's face was not very reasuring...

Saix opened a bag of M & M's, and extended his arn towards Demyx, offering him some. Notably reaching accross Axel, and not offering him any, he awaited Demyx's response.

 

Demyx was bored. I'm bored he thought. Boooooooooorrrrrrrrree-duh! he playing with the word in his mind. Suddenly he noticed Saix offering some M&M's. Ooh... Chocolate... Normally the Beserker scared him, but Demyx's love for chocolate overcame his dislike for Saix. "Thank you!" He accepted happily as he took a few of the colored chocolate candies.​

 

Miffed about being reached across, Roxas swiftly stuck his hand in the bag of M&Ms and offered some to Axel.

 

Janexna had almost fallen with her chair as it was only balancing on its two hind legs, closely falling asleep, as she heard the judge speak , startled. Then she snapped her eyes open. Placing the chair back properly, and fixing a few things on her clothing, feeling a bit tired (which happened when you're close to resting), Janexna tried to gear her brain again as it nearly shut off for the while. She wasn't sure what would come out of this, after all, she was only a partner, and was pretty much a attorney in training, but hell, she had decided long ago Larxene was going to be taken care of by her. Kind of. Along with Axel, which by the prove she had, would be free of all charges in one swift blow of the wind. Glancing at the blonde, she motioned with her hand to the seat waiting for her, though she didn't have to, as the Nymph was already standing up and stretching her numb muscles....stretching in a very evocative manner, and whether she was doing it on purpose or not, she had to put Larxene's arms down to stop her from showing off her chest blatantly as her back arched, as well as emphasizing other assets of her body. It was not the fact of the stretch, but that it was more open than she would usually find anyone else doing so, and considering the full male audience...

Noticing she was giving her a less than pleased hazardous glare, she simply fumbled out, "Um, this a court room, full of males and all...and well...I just didn't think, ugh, just forget it. Sorry about that. Let's get this over with, shall we?"

Larxene simply raised another eyebrow at her defense attorney, getting fully amused by the fact that the girl's nerves were skyrocketing to whatever little thing she might do wrong, so much, that it made her grin. In fact, maybe she'll do a few actions intentionally to freak her out more, just to play with her a little. Still, it wasn't like stretching the way she did was such a incentive, considering some people did so that way when they woke up in the morning, it wasn't her fault that the shape it took was somehow provocative. And as always, she didn't care. She basically lived with twelve of these men present, so the fact that she had to get used to being the only female for awhile, made her take this as if she was in the privacy of her own room. She wasn't one to be shy. If they ever did peek where they shouldn't have, then their gifted groins were going to be castrated and thrown to the crocodiles for extra lunch- or maybe to Hades's adorable three headed dog. Who knows? Slapping Janexna's hands away in a irritated manner, with a little added static that made her squeak and cradle her hand, she walked to the stand in quick steps, passing through the opening, and casually taking her seat, the iPod on hand. Finally, now all she had to do is wait to see if this was shorter than how long the judge took to decide whether or not to sit here.

Her eyes blankly look around the whole room in front of her, the view vastly different, everyone in sight from where she was, tables, chairs, the Organization members in their whole, prosecution and defendants, the "hero section", and some gazing at her entirely, as if there was nothing more interesting. If she was the type of person to be anxious, or be fazed easily, Larxene would have found it intimidating. But all she did was lay back comfortably, cross her legs gracefully and fluently, and place her hands on her lap, waiting for what would happen next in this ever so interesting trial like a well-mannered lady, a song blaring in her ears. Larxene could see Mr. Power's voice cut through about Roxas and Axel interacting, and she really did not find anything wrong with it, despite the hatred she felt for the damn pyromaniac.

 

Harvey wasn't sure what to make of a witness and a defendant chatting it up. He assumed now that Roxas had shown he would be a witness to testify on what he knew of the Organization members, to include Axel but at the same time, he was a former member. This could be said of others but well...none tried to 'leave' the way he had which was just to walk out. "I think it's alright. According to the records, Axel and Roxas were friends and though they should not be too long together, I do not see the harm in it particularly. Roxas is not the only witness which will be called pertaining to Axel's trial and we already knew they were friends."

He was just glad that finally Namine was off the stand and now, Larxene was. She was kind of hot, doing that lean back in the chair thing. Here was a woman that had control of herself and knew what she wanted. He was glad his hippo buddy wasn't here or else he'd be all over Larxene and probably something detrimentally wretched would transpire. He was waiting for the Defense to be able to question Larxene while he rummaged through some papers, getting his thoughts together on what he might inquire. Larxene did not have as many charges as others did. He was hoping this would go by fast due to that. The charges for Larxene were pretty simple and straight forward, even if the Defense wanted to try to blame others. They also weren't that serious if some were knocked off. No, there were worse people than Larxene on that list who could claim herself she was coerced by Marluxia, which seemed likely. This was going to be interesting to see how it played out.

 

Naminé heard the prosecutor object to Roxas conversing with Axel. She didn't see this coming. She figured that Axel wanted to see Roxas, so she agreed with Sora on the point. Then Naminé remembered the strange glance that Riku had been giving them when she kissed Roxas. Granted, she didn't know him for that long. But there was still this undeniable attraction that she had toward him. She reasoned it was because of Sora and Kairi's mutual attraction to each other. Plus, she HAD been watching over both Sora and Roxas, so she had a pretty good idea about their personalities.

Then she looked at Kairi. The moment seemed to come and go and Sora lost yet another chance to make out with the girl that he loved. Naminé sighed. Sora was a charmer, but was pretty much a ditz when it came to romance and relationships.

She turned back to the courtroom. For some odd reason, Larxene was taking her sweet time to testify. At this rate, nothing would get done. To pass the time, Naminé went over how the court system worked. First, the one at the Witness Stand would be asked to testify. The testimony would consist of statements that show up as bullet points on the Court Record. Next, came the Cross-Examination. Whoever called the witness up would get first crack. And finally, the opposing side would try finding the contradiction in the statements and present some evidence to break the testimony. That seemed to be the case here. Hopefully the prosecution wouldn't make the same mistake that the defense did...

Kairi sighed. She had a chance to kiss Sora and she blew it. Granted, she used to be not as forward, but after going through what she'd been through, she felt more confidence in her. She wondered when it would be her turn to testify. The only members she witnessed were Axel, Saix and Xemnas. She kinda knew Luxord, but she had been turned into a card. The other Organization members weren't as familiar, but Sora, Riku, Roxas and Naminé had all filled in the gaps. It also helped that she had a look in Jiminy's Journal.

But what was taking so long? The judge gave the okay for Larxene to testify. But who would do the questioning? Janexna or Xelax. If it was Xelax, then it should be okay. So far his performance wasn't exactly impressionable. He knew the rules well enough, but that seemed to be his only advantage. If it was Janexna who questioned Larxene, then it might be trouble. Granted, she wasn't all that familiar with the court's procedures, but she seemed a bit more professional than her partner...

Kairi finally noticed that Larxene was intentionally trying to seduce the male audience of the court. She shook her head in disbelief. Not for Larxene's actions, but Janexna's. Larxene seemed to be a woman who wasn't afraid to flaunt her sexuality. Kairi thought she looked like some type of serving wench at some pimp daddy's mansion. Wait...where did that thought come from? Kairi slapped her cheeks. What was wrong with her? Of course, she wasn't one to judge. Her outfit was pretty revealing with her short skirt and thin straps. There was also the fact that neither her or Naminé wore bras despite the budding racks.

Another curious thought popped up. Did Naminé wear underwear? She didn't wear a bra that was for sure. But was the dress and the sandals her entire outfit? Kairi's face scrunched up in disgust. There was seriously something wrong here. These couldn't be her thoughts. It was as if some outer force was feeding her brain with these naughty images in an attempt to embarrass her for some odd reason...

Outside the court, Pika_power's mind reading friend kadabra fainted...

Axel sitting in his chair, arms folded and eyes closed . . . yeah, it wasn't working. Now that Roxas was in the room, his mind kept drifting to the other side, to him. Why did he not say a single word to him? Even a simple wave or a nod of acknowledgment might've been good. He opened his eyes, and his head involuntarily turned towards where Roxas was. He raised an eyebrow when the image of Naminé and Roxas kissing became clear among the others. Hmm . . . He wasn't aware of this, neither was he ever informed of Roxas having a girlfriend, and that too Naminé. Life sure throws out many surprises, and it seemed that his dear friends had also began to keep secrets from him. Great . . . just great. His eyes watched them as Roxas laughed with his new friends, and it shook him a little as he longed for the company of his friend. Sighing, he was about to turn back when his peripheral vision caught the glimpse of Sora waving to him, along with Riku as well, who was apparently inviting him to come to them. Giving a his trademark smile and a wave with two of his fingers, he positioned himself to get up . . . but, no. He reluctantly steadied himself and remained in his seat. Roxas was 'busy', better not disturb him. Giving both Sora and Riku a faint smile he turned back. The day was only getting gloomier for him by the minute.
Axel silently sat at his chair, once again spacing out, ignoring everything and everyone around him, including Roxas. That little punk knew exactly what made him tick, he smiled to himself, remembering the moments they shared together on top of the tower with their favorite Sea-Salt Ice-cream. Those were the golden days . . .

"Axel, you showoff, we could have taken on those Dusks!"

“Whoa!†Axel snapped out of his thoughts, and almost flew out of his seat to suddenly find Roxas sitting next to him. When did he get here? Axle hadn't felt his presence approaching him at all. He stared at the smiling blond boy with a startled look; perhaps he should stop zoning out like this.
“Hey.†He said meekly to the boy. “It's been a while huh?â€
Axel didn't really know what to say to Roxas, and it was Roxas, after all, who had wished to meet him in another life, and here they were . . . but now what? Everything between them had changed since Roxas left the Organization, and the events that followed in the illusionary Twilight Town, and for that he blamed DiZ, and perhaps Riku. But all that doesn't matter now. What's happened had happened and the past cannot be changed, but in Axel's mind, no matter what happened, Roxas would be his best friend, forevermore.
The two boys sat in silence as Axel's ears picked up the Pikachu's voice, and he gave the Pokémon an indignant glare. How dare he? He was really beginning to dislike this Pokémon more and more. Oh, how he'd love to give that little sneak a piece of his mind, and commit that to his memory! Gritting his teeth, he shook a fist in the direction of the Pokémon who was stealing glances at the two of them, when suddenly he felt an arm pass him by near his stomach.
“What the!†He yelped looking down to see an arm extending towards the smiling Demyx, offering him some M&M's, completely ignoring him. Recognizing that it was Siax, it made him wonder how the Diviner was suddenly feeling so generous with his M&M's, and since he was, better make the most of it. “Hey! C'mon Siax, sharing is caring!â€
Roxas, however, immediately responded by grabbing a handful of them from the bag, and offering him some. Thanking him, Axel gleefully and quicky popped a couple of them into his mouth. The spark of their old friendship was still there, a small spark, but it was indeed there. He chewed on the crunchy chocolate as he looked at Roxas with a very enthusiastic look, but his eyes soon caught the stretching Larxene in the background . . .

Sexy.

 

Naminé assumed that since Janexna was the one who brought up Larxene, Mr. Xelax would be the one to ask her to testify. But what was taking him so long? They had the witness. The prosecution had been more than ready. Even the judge had given permission. So...Namine sighed as she tilted her head back over the head rest and laid back in her chair. She wondered if she should tell Kairi that she was indeed wearing underwear...

 

Roxas watched Axel for some time. He seemed to be oblivious to the fact that he was dead. "Uh, Axel?" Roxas probed gently, wondering how to explain it to him. "You kind of are... well... Dead." Without looking up at Axel, he hurried along. "At least, Axel is dead. There are rumours that say you're coming back as a somebody! It was a meeting with the prophet Nomura!" Roxas then realized something. "But you may be buried so deep that I will not be able to recognize you..."
Roxas suddenly understood something. "This means that this will probably be the last time we see each other like this. Come on over to the witness box! If this is going to be my last time with you, I do not really want him" At this, Roxas jerked a thumb in Saix's direction. "to be in my memories. Meet Namine, say hi to Sora too! Surely you want to see him? After all, you did blow yourself up for him."


Pika_power was not happy. "Roxas is the only one who can testify against Axel. Him along with DiZ and Riku. If Roxas just denies it, then Axel is getting off the charge!" At this, Pika_power stated again "Your honour, I really cannot allow a witness to talk to a prosecuted. It is not correct procedure! I demand they are seperated!"

 

Marluxia had just come back to see the current events of the court and to return to his assigned seat, though what he intently spotted was Larxene stretching, to which he had stared at for the very minute, before continuing his way as the attorney stopped her. That was definitely something unexpected to be greeted with, yet it wasn't like he wasn't familiar with her behavior as...suggestive as it was. Larxene was not bashful and wouldn't hold herself back from doing something just because men were in the room. The girl was too overconfident on that regard. Getting back into the Organization booth that was set up for them, he saw Roxas talking with Axel, not a rare sight to see, and passing by the fire wielder without much thought on the way to his seat, he sent him a one second dark glance, having the same sentiments as Larxene on the man. He couldn't blame the female, it was tempting to extract some sort of vengeance, yet he had a hold of himself. They had, really, confronted each other for it before.

Sitting back down, he simply turned to watch as Larxene now made the stand, checking her surroundings as she was calmly listening to the music.

Janexna would've asked Larxene to testify already, but Pika_Power, was still against Roxas and Axel interacting, and she wasn't positive whether to give Larxene the go just yet as she thought the problem with the two best friends had to be given to the judge, who was suppose to hear the testimony. The distraction will keep away from it, and two things couldn't be listened at once, at least she thought so. Looking over at Xelax, she asked, "Should we proceed and ignore Mr. Power's request, or wait for the judge to make his decision on Axel and Roxas talking?"

 

Is Luxord Taken?

 

OOC: Luxord is pretty much the only Organization member left, but you're going to have to PM ICSP a sample of how you'd portray the character. He's trying to defend the Organization, so he won't tolerate any "evil" acts such as stealing or attacking which could jeopardize his position in the case.

 

OOC: Ok, I use rhetoric and stuff and justify my causes and try to keep to the charges. Trying not to mention "Illegal gambling". XD Gonna have ta wait til morning to write that PM though.

 

OOC: Bama: I like you, I'll let you skip the audition. Just don't jump ship before Luxord testifies... and I've seen your work.

Xelax grew concerened, he had no idea what was going on between Larxene and Janexna... "Larxene, is everything ok?" he asked, a slight nervous crack in his voice.

 

OOC: So how's this going to go exactly? Does Janexna ask the question to Larxene or does Xelax ask so *TwilightNight* only has to focus on the testimony itself? But, yeah, are we really waiting for the Judge on this? Because at this rate, we're probably not even going to hear Larxene's testimony until next week. And he DID give permission for the testimony... :huh:

And as for the prosecutor's argument, remember that Roxas is under oath if he has to testify. If he lies, the truth WILL eventually come out, whether he wants it to or not... How do you think Xelax got slammed by the Judge? :wacko:

 

OOC: I did not get slammed by the judge for lying... FYI, I did not tell one lie... ask Repliku.

And The judge did say he wanted to here Larxene's side of the story before he passes judgement, and asked her to take the stand.

I don't know how its going to work with the testimony. I think it might be easier if Janexna has and questions for Larxene, she ask them through me... otherwise it would give one too much power with the testimony... imagine objections!!!

 

OOC: Maybe, but Xelax didn't exactly tell the truth either by accusing Naminé of being the mastermind behind Castle Oblivion...

OOC: That was my point exactly. If *TwilightNight* Presses her own testimony from Larxene through Janexna, it'd pretty much take all the fun out of being different characters, right?

 

OOC: So it could be the cliche sidekick from Ace Attorney, "that seemed odd, aske them something about that!"

Same thing when Roxas and Sora and Saix all take the stand... and so forth.

By the way, I did not make up the theory of Namine being the master mind, I got inspired by someone else... maybe you should ask him. Could we start with the BIC post now?
