Naminé looked at Pika_Power questionably. "Don't you think that you should bring your partner into this? After all, we don't want you two to clash again. I wasn't kidding when I said that you two are stronger than the defense as long as you and Harvey aren't arguing." She stopped herself. "Or was I only thinking that?" She did a double take. "No, wait. That was Kairi's thoughts, not mine." She shook her head. "Why am I thinking of someone else's thoughts all of a sudden?!"

Kairi couldn't do anything from where she was, but she felt Naminé's confusion. "Get your thoughts together, girl. We don't want to have an identity crisis on our hands..."

Pika_power looked at Namine, shocked. "Of course I am going to bring my partner into this. I would never try to twist the truth without consulting him first." Pika_power looked down. "although I will ask for a witness for Namine opening a dark portal, as no harm can come to that. Especially if everyone refuses to testify to see the dark portal."

Pika_power ginned. "Although I will consult him for anything I am planning to do.

Riku gave a nod. "I think the point is that there's no way he can try to prove that Namine could just dark portal out of there. I was trapped there too as was Sora and none of the Organization members left because they were ordered stuck there as was she. He's just trying to pass the buck of blame around and that won't work. I don't know much about Larxene but it's very clear what Marluxia's plan was and she did aid him in it and shares the blame to some degree. I don't think she should have the book thrown at her but some charges clearly are hers in this too. Saying Namine could dark portal and so this whole mastermind scheme is hers is ridiculous. I'm not sure why no one just comes out and says "well if she could leave, why didn't Marluxia and Larxene go off on their own instead of trying to take over the Org where -most- members obviously would not want them to be in charge?'. Obviously, Marluxia feared if the Superior wasn't taken out then he couldn't just go traipsing off either. This -is- why he wanted Sora."

Riku wiped at his shirt a bit more. "That lawyer really does dig but he's going to have to get it that at least some of those charges are going to stick and he should be trying to get them 'lessened' instead of eliminated. Also, he doesn't know if some of the Org members may agree they acted overly hostile or aggressive at points which would probably help their cases too. Instead he's out to prove others are guilty and that's the wrong angle to take."

Sora reached in his pocket and took out some M&Ms and walked over to where Riku, Namine and Pika were. "Is Namine going to be convicted of what she couldn't possibly have been done? This is really kind of troublesome." He held out his hand offering M&Ms in the bag to whoever wanted some.

Kairi walked up to the little pow-wow of friends. She gave Sora an incredulous look. "'Troublesome?' You feeling okay, Sora? If it's anyone who'd use that word, it'd be Riku." She glanced over at Xelax and Janxena, wondering what was going on in their heads at the moment...

  5. OOC: I'm baaaaack! xD Sorry for not posting so much, I was in Flroida enjoying my Spring Break (that means stay away from internet ^^; ), yet now I'm ready to go. I'm a little bit lost of what's happened so far, since I read, but mostly skimmed it over, so perhaps I missed something, so don't mind the mistake in my posts somewhat. All I need to know is what did Pika (or someone) do to Xemnas, shaking him?

Janexna was listening Xelax take care of most of the arguments, having zoned out to think on her own thoughts, as Do You Know by Enrique Iglesias (a.k.a. The Ping Pong Song) was playing on her iPod nano, able to concentrate with music on. There was no way they could simply elimntae all charges for all the members, there might be some arguments for Marluxia's case, however, situations such as Xaldin and Xemnas's are hard to break through, considering the guilty actions and truthful charges that they were accused of, and obviously, committed. She really didn't know how Xelax was going to pull through with those two, and she was going to help, no matter what it took, but the defense appeared bleak. Xemnas was the main reason for all that had occurred, it was hard to escape that. It was the reality. Taking a bite of her new bag of Skittles, which now almost everyone was having a helping of, she mostly missed what was happening in court, due to the fact that it was in complete disorder, and some hijinks that shouldn't happen in a respectful matter such as this were being taken. It was almost a breath of fresh air when the judge fainted and called a recess, for now, she and her partner can think over some of their protests, while the Organization members can have their break before they could get restless out of this. Not to mention, supposely, Larxene was to go up the stand. That was kind of worriesome...not for the charges, of course, being her favorite female character, she had packed up lots of defenses for her...yet, Larxene would hopefully not do anything...oh, well, rash.

Glancing over at Xelax, she gave him a firm stare, though she was getting a bit tired. "Should we regroup now, and take the break as a advantage to know what to add to our defenses and organize our arguments? The charges and discussions are random, it had switched to Larxene, to Marluxia, Castle Oblivion, and Naminé all of a sudden. I think I'm going to have to ask for some type of order from the judge...not to mention, they are harassing our clients. I'm definitely taking this into account once the judge comes to, because I would not have that in this court room, though the Organization had been able to control themselves, thankfully. It is unfair that we've been doing nothing with no act of misconduct, yet, the prosecutors get away scotch free, while if any of the members would've acted up, they would've been charged more. Ridiculous. That Pika_Power even dared to commit theft on my food before."

Yeah, she was still bitter about the yellow Skittle, despite being her least favorite flavor.

That, and she was thirsty. Café, here she came.

Other than the fact that she was highly amused and entertained by the happenings of this so called court, including Xemnas being shaken. Though the minute the judge fainted, she gave a silent sigh of relief when he called a break. And by goodness, did she need one. Everyone did. It seems that the prosecutors, or rather, mostly Pika_Power, were simply tempting and egging them all to show some type of violent reaction as if to prove their point, considering that they were only ones stealing, attacking them or the defendants, or otherwise doing some form of immoral move. So far, and she was bit surprised at this, needless to say, the members remained calm and unfazed. It seems the seriousness of the situation they were in escaped her, or her "comrades" were aware of what they were all trying to do and what they knew would work against them. She preferred the latter.

The judge apparently, was blind enough not to notice or chose to ignore their actions, though she was sure it would be brought up, considering she could hear Janexna's complaints through the distance. Just in time, because Larxene really did not feel like going up and being questioned and prosecuted. Someone will end up hurt in the end if she finished being irritated enough, packed with the fact that she was already in a foul mood at the reminder of the events that led to her death. Her actions back then...she didn't care for them, but she remembered just how angry, disappointed, and upset she was back thenabout how all their plans was screwed up, to the point where she didn't even matter telling Sora the truth and explaining what Naminé had done, the whole thing was out in the open. They were so close. In instinct, her blue eyes lingered on the Superior for a while, turning sharp as the failure hit her again. So close. Momentarily, she wondered what he thought of them being here.

Perhaps she took out the turmoil by picking a fight on what would the wrong person, and it was maybe her fault that Axel had succeeded, considering she gave too much away to him in...what was it? Trust? Or was she so confident he wouldn't turn around and stab her without any source of remorse? That kind of made her lose her apathetic and cruel status away from her for that while. She knew about his wild card reputation, it was hard to know what he was thinking, and she shouldn't have been blinded. Damn it. And to think, for reasons to herself about annoying him, she had went and touched him constantly in Castle Oblivion. It was fun seeing his reactions, yet maybe she also shouldn't have been so playful, or rather, comfortable around such a person as he was. She should've been on her guard. She had let herself be used, and she hated herself for that more than anything. It just ticked her.

Curling her lips and gritting her teeth, she simply got up from her chair and walked off out of their cubicle and down the stairs, taking the long way out just not to pass by Axel, in case she'll slash his throat with her kunai and gut out his esophagus in front of everyone in a bloody scene. Though that sounded really good to do right now.

Marluxia glanced at the blonde by simply shifting his eyes, his face still set on the court room, wondering what she was thinking about with this whole situation. He gave her some praise for keeping her composure, so she took his warning first hand, however, he had noticed that her face went to anger, to her own scolding, to rage, then to sadness, then another 180 altogether. That was something interesting about the Savage Nymph that he had noted long ago; her range of expressions. You would know when she thought someone was weird, stupid, laughable, pathetic, weak, and other personal opinions she had on them all, as well as when she was being sarcastic, sardonic, and/or joking. Easy to read like a purposeful opened book, yet the words were blurry enough to be confused on the deeper side between the lines. Getting up as well, feeling a bit constraint in the place, and feeling the need of fresh air, he had followed Larxene out as well, wanting to speak to her. The last thing they needed was her temper going to extreme, especially if she ends with her being called to the stand.

OOC: Good to have you back. Now we can finally get somewhere in this case. Basically, Xelax used the "Naminé is the mastermind and was using Larxene and Marluxia to get the Keyblade for herself" defense by attempting to bring up that Naminé could've dark portaled out of Castle Oblivion at any time. Unfortunately (for the defense), the prosecution brought up the argument that Naminé couldn't have dark portaled during Castle Oblivion. Naminé even went up against Xelax's argument in saying that if she could truly dark portal at the time, then why did she RUN out of the room when Axel let her escape. She could've easily DP'ed out of there if she had the ability.

Everything went into chaos when Goofy mistook Xemnas for Sora and in his haste to run away, he tripped and his shield collided with the judge (who heard something inside him snap) and had to call an hour recess because of it. Pika_Power received an 8-gallon bag of yellow Skittles from Kairi who had it in her purse (who also has a bag of M&Ms as backup), Naminé finally apologized to Riku and Repliku. Also, Kairi's getting suspicious about Janexna's odd behavior and noticed that the prosecution is stronger than Xelax by himself, but only if they would stop arguing with each other. Now Sora, Riku, Kairi, Naminé and Pika_Power are all having a group huddle.

Oh, and Namine is STILL on the witness stand.

I think that pretty much sums up everything until Judge Erkz finally recovers.

Xelax was suprised at the sudden turn of events. One moment he was about to prove to the court about how Namine manipulated everything which happened in castle oblivion, the next he was wondering if the case was going to go on? Or if it would be suspended indefinatly.

What would happen? How would this case end? Was Organization XIII truly guilty? All these doubts began to plaugue his mind. Then his thoughts were interupted by Janexna. He snapped back to full attention.

"Janexna... This case is taking a lot out of me..." he stopped. Choosing his words were never difficult, but this was exeptional. "I think we should consider our next move. I... I think almost broke Namine... but I was interupted. But what if I was to break first? There are too many things going on in this case. I need more helpl. Do you think he will help us? He is in the prison just accross the street." He shook his head. "I don't even think you know who I'm talking about." He looked down. "What do you think Janexna? How does the case look? They changed the charges on us to benefit thier arguement... twice! Do you think we can win?"

Saix still stared blankly into the ground. He knew not of what fate awated him. He only prepared himself for what was to come. He knew he would have to testify. And he was quite determined to take even this opportunity to crush all the ememies of the Organization.

Vexen looked around. The courtroom was dismissed. He took advantage to approach the oddity which had captivated his attention earlier. He cautiosly approached the koala/doglike bizarre creature which had crawled though the courtroom earlier. "Wow... this certainly is a unique specimine... it looks like the work of Dr. Jumba Jookiba... I wonder if its violent?" he spoke as if the creature could not understand him.

OOC - But the true question is... will he? And was that really Judge "Erkz"? Dun-dun-duuun... *Plot twist.*

Just then, the double doors slammed open, and a tall young man in a white suit wearing a slanted silk top hat whose brim hid the top of his face briskly walked in, hastily putting on a black robe - A robe of the same type as the one the judge was wearing, as his hard-soles shoes clacked on the floor. He walked up to the judge's stand, sat down, and slammed the gavel down, hard. After then clearing his throat, he began to speak.

"It is most regrettable to inform the court that my father, the previous judge, will not be returning to this courtroom due to medical complications. However, he thoroughly wishes this case to be seen through, and as such requested that I take his place. He has already briefed me with the details of the case, and where both parties stand, and everything else that deals with the case, so I do hope that I may be found to be a suitable replacement..." the young man said in a confident voice. "However, his comment about being wary of anthropomorphic animals confuses me, so I shall ignore that for now, as it seems to have very..."

He broke off when he noticed Pika_Power, Donald, Goofy, and the others.

"... my word, what has father gotten me into this time..." he muttered under his breath. After everyone had returned to their places, he took off his silk hat and, resting it down nearby, the wire-framed glasses-wearing brown haired lad spoke again. "The recess is now over, court will now reconvene for the trial of Organization XIII, currently at number XII, Larxene. Defense, I believe that before the recess, the witness required proof that she could in fact use Dark Corridors at the time in question, and that there was a specific reason that she did not at the time. A lack of proof at this time shall result in this line of questioning being thrown out, so I do hope you have some evidence to support your case."

Propping his face on his fist, he looked expectantly at the Defense.

Harvey Birdman had never been charged with really harassing the other side in such a manner but then again he never paired up with a pokemon before to go to trial. Maybe he should have thought better when spoken to of this case before just doing his trademark yell "I'llllllllllllllllll take the case!!" Janexna did have a point though that people were just doing things that seemed odd and if this was the practice of some, it was not HIS way so he would put a stop to it or his name wasn't Harvey Birdman! ...Now, what was he supposed to be doing? Ah yes, a new judge had come upon the scene and the case was back in full swing. Harvey straightened out his tie once again and took a drink of coffee.

Riku went back to his seat after running out to the hall to get a replacement soda and was prepared. He looked over at Sora. "You might want to get your friends to stop the playing around."

Sora blinked, kind of oblivious and then went back to his seat. "Donald, Goofy, Stitch, you guys be good now. We need to pay attention and no more getting into trouble!" He tried to say this sternly as he could muster but...it was Sora. He wasn't good at putting his foot down until he was really angry.

Resolved to the fact that there were no secret prizes underneath the chairs, Repliku sighed and sat down ready for the court case to begin anew. He pondered if that old guy was going to pull through after his accident but the new guy seemed to know his stuff. He really wanted this case over so he could go outside and do something like 'play'. He had never really done that before and now, being outside of the castle, alive and healthy, he had his chance. If things didn't go well for him or the Org...he didn't care if they'd just let him go out and do something fun. Why was he always around these sorts of scenes that were so grim?

At first, Kairi was slightly stunned at this new judge. "Reminds me of some pimp daddy," she muttered under her breath. But this seemed a bit too convenient. This judge just appeared out of nowhere and claims to be the previous judge's offspring? As she made her way back to the audience booth, the nagging feeling crept to her mind. She hoped it was paranoia, but...

Excusing herself from Riku and Sora, she quietly made her way outside the courtroom and headed for the bathroom. As soon as she locked herself in one of the stalls, she took out her cell phone and began dialing...

Feeling a bit better now that she patched things up with Riku, Naminé was back on the witness stand. She didn't know what the defense's strategy was. They had a whole hour to come up with one after all. But she knew somehow that they had just begun to pin the blame on other people. She usually didn't take sides, but the way that the defense was shunning the truth, all Naminé could do now was hope that the truth would finally come to light...

Kairi hung up her phone and let out a sigh of relief. After making a few calls, she was confident that if there was something else going on, they'd be ready for it. If her suspicions were wrong, it'd be just pure paranoia. But, if she were right...

She headed back into the courtroom and took her seat beside Sora. If she were right, they'd be ready for it...

    OOC - D: Pimp daddy? Nooo... that's not how he's supposed to look. He doesn't wear gloves or use a cane or anything like that. ;-;

The new judge began drumming his fingers as he awaited the defense's response.

OOC: It was either that or the "Clock King." If you've seen Batman:TAS, you know who I'm talking about. :p But, yeah. When you said top hat and rimmed glasses, you've got one of those two images in my mind. I know it's different for everyone else, but that's just me.

OOC: Alright, I take it back. It was only my initial reaction. I'm sorry. :cryinganime:

Kairi looked at the judge again and did a double take. The judge looked completely different all of a sudden. She glanced down at her bag of M&Ms. Could someone have poisoned it with a drug to enable hallucinations? Kairi shook her head. She didn't even OPEN the bag yet. Stifling a yawn, she realized that she must've been tired. It didn't make her any less suspicious, though. She leaned her head on Sora's shoulder and began to rest her eyes...

OOC - o.o His suit does look like Clock King's... just white. :D

The judge began to doze off, his face slipping off of his hand. The jolt reawoke him however, and he sighed. The defense had better have a good reason for making him wait so long. And after he'd hurried to the court-house too.

Pika_power took his seat, along with a massive bag of yellow skittles.

He then eyed the new judge critically, then asked cheerfully "Your honour, I have a few questions. First off, what is your name? Refering to you as Your Honour all the time can get... Repetitive. Also, can I please add a question to Xelax? Who did he actually have as an eye witness to Namine's supposedly "dark portalling"? He has provided no proof that there even was Dark portalling done by the witness. Finally, can I make an objection to her saying Namine could have dark portalled?"

The pokemon turned back to Xelax, who seemed to be thinking.

OoC: What can I say the other characters look like? We need an official status for people who have not arrived. E.g. Pika_power looked over at the defense. They seemed to be asleep, eyes glazed over.

I would just like to know what I can call them.

Sora munched on some M&Ms and washed them down with soda. After a bit, he realized once again that you should not do this unless you want to become a bit disruptive to those around you. "BUUUURRRRRRP* Sora blinked and then smiled a bit, waving like everything was okay despite the fact that the belch had escaped him before he could tone it down. "Sorry about that!"

Riku face-palmed. He was an expert at doing the act. He then smirked and just looked back to the judge to not draw -too- much attention to it. He was eagerly awaiting a lawyer's point that could not possibly be proven unless the judge was gullible. Charging a girl like Namine with the whole 'betrayal of the Org' deal and that she could leave at any time was laughable to Riku. Maybe the man had 'something' but Riku could not even imagine what. He had seemed pretty solid that just having the ability to Dark Portal at all was good enough as evidence and that was his case to charge Namine, not Marluxia, with the whole conspiracy, if Riku had heard it right. This case was becoming more and more interesting by the moment.

Repliku watched the new judge with some intrigue. He had a top hat. Repliku wanted a top hat now. He didn't know what for, but it looked cool.

Harvey stood waiting. He was sure the Judge would read over the past events from the recorder and so did not proceed to mirror Pika's or his own former challenge to the Defense pertaining to Namine. He was preparing a rebuttal should the Defense choose to continue with charging Namine for the coup and the ability to leave the premises at any time so she was a 'self inflicted' victim. He did however lean over to Pika. "The defense had a good point about you shooting bolts and stuff. Please try to not do so against people as it makes us look unprofessional and that we may be threatening the defense or offense witnesses, alright?" What was sad was that Harvey said this like he was used to having to.

After thinking over his thoughts carefully. Xelax leaned forward to speak. His hands were unsteady this was definatly a critical point in the trail. He sense the tensoin of the room, as all eyes fell upon him. The the room grew dark, he looked around in a panic. Then he heard a mysterious voice.

"Alex, I must say, I am somewhat dissapointed..." the mans voice was calm, and melodic, quite charming.

"What's going on?" He asked the voice... in total conusion. What just happened? Did he faint? Did he die? And what happened to the skittles? All these questions flashed through Xelax's head in a moment.

"Of all the attorneys I've taken under my wing, I did not think you would be the one to break down on the stand..." the voice continued. Then with a flash of light, he saw the source of the voice. A man in a light blue double breasted suite, whith a pink tie, and wire framed glasses.

"Kristoph? What are you doing here?" Xelax immediatly recognized the man.

"You called out to me so I answered. Now, whats your problem." He said, tilting the head to the side with a smile.

Xelax had always managed to be creeped out by Kristoph's smile. This was no exception, especially the circumstanses of thier meeting. "The prosecution is making prove something, I can't think of evidence. They are saying that my defendant was preventing my scenario from happening."

Kirstoph adjusted his glasess. "Well, thats simple..."

Xelax looked on puzzled. "What is?"

    "The law is absolute..."

Almost as if he was snapped back into reality, he was back into the courtroom, almost bewildered. He looked over towards the judge. "Your honor, I have something to say." he finally spoke, he looked around the courtroom, he was bewildered, it looked as though everyone had been waiting for a while for his response.

"The prosecution said that Namine could not use portals due to the danger of Nobodies presense. This is not true, DiZ used Dark Portals often, and he was defeated by a few dusk. This proves that Dark Portals are not exclusivly controled by Organization XIII."

"The prosecution claims that Marluxia prevented Namine from using portals. There is not proof to this claim. But I already did prove that she could use portals. Even when Saix was nearby! WHEN ORGANIZATION XIII WAS STILL IN POWER!"

He thought to himself. What... What's come over me...? Without thinking, I just blurted out, And I yelled it it the top of my lungs, finger outstretched, ready to take on my opponent!

Kairi didn't know what she was seeing, but a strange dark aura seemed to be emanating from Xelax. She didn't know if anyone else sensed it, but the power seemed cold and desolate, as if the defense attorney himself was possessed by some sort of tainted spirit. Her eyes narrowed apprehensively.

The funny thing was that the defense was shouting, but what he had said was irrelevant. The prosecution claimed that Naminé couldn't have dark portaled during the Castle Oblivion timeline because she couldn't. All the defense was doing was bringing up events that happened afterwards. She slightly smiled at the attorney's enthusiasm. He was changing the subject (yet again) and she knew the prosecution wouldn't stand for it.

Naminé sat on the witness stand silent. The defense attorney thought he had figured a loophole. But he STILL hadn't disproved anything during Castle Oblivion. Every event that he had just shouted out happened afterwards. And looking at the timeline, his points were irrelevant to the prosecution's arguments. Xelax was grasping at straws as usual. Not to mention that this had NOTHING to do with Larxene anymore. The defense was doing a magician's slight of hand, avoiding the issue by diverting everyone's attention somewhere else. She hoped this new judge would be fair and could see through this desperation act. Otherwise it'd be days before they even got through ONE charge...
