Organization XIII's Rivals

Now that he was gone, Larxene gave a sigh of relief. What she was so nervous about, she wasn't sure...perhaps trying to be so friendly, so polite, with an enemy was making her unnerved...
Turning to Axel, she was silent for a moment, as if waiting to see what he would say about this.

 

Seeing her patiently wait for him to say something, he blinked. Axel had nothing to say, due to the fact that unlike Max and Marluxia, he didn't hit on her in any way. Or maybe more like Marluxia, kiss her. He didn't need to 'feel' that envious monster inside him, at least not at this moment. In fact, he seemed more like a friend, and likeable, that was for sure. But now...now they were alone again,and the same uncomfortable feeling seeped in leisurely, like it was crawling. Was he the only one that sensed the tight atmosphere? Axel didn't want to go back to their early conversation, just in case he might reveal the truth accidentally, and hoped to drift her away by changing the subject. He was close to saying it, but he didn't want to say it, only to get smack metaphorically in the face by her "no".

Raising a eyebrow quizically at her, he remarked, "Well, he was interesting. How did you two meet?"

 

Larxene had hoped they could return to their previous conversation, but all he had to ask was 'how did you two meet?'.
Sighing, she said, "That isn't important, Axel. I saw him in the forest, and he was quite friendly to me...that is all." Looking at his eyes, she tried to steer the conversation to the subject she wanted to talk about again. "Look, Axel, don't try to evade it - what is bothering you? What is making you act so distant?"

 

Axel gulped tightly, feeling trapped all of a sudden. There's no way he could admit it now, and like always, she did the opposite of what he wanted her to do. And he didn't want to create a portal and escape, because that would just be cowardly, and he wasn't that. Never was, never will. So what to do?

Staring at the ground again, he tried to think of a way out of this. There was none he could think of, and she was aware when he could change the subject, so the only rope left to hold was avoidance. Cursin gin his head, in a soft tone, he muttered, "Just forget it, Larxene. Is nothing important. Let it go."

And yet now, he didn't know whether to still act distant. Maybe it was too fast for him to come to that conclusion without knowing the full story, but he just didn't want to get deeper into her, in what he was 'feeling'. This was dangerous, wasn't it? And she probably didn't think of him that way.

 

........really?......wait......something's wrong........are you all right?.......did I do something unintentionally?

 

"It's important to me," Larxene said, raising her voice slightly. "I told you already that I don't like how you're acting this way, and I want to know why. It's not normal for you to distant yourself like this."
She didn't want Axel to keep running away from the question, the problem...she wanted to know what was wrong and fix it, so everything could be like the way it was before.

 

"No," Axel responded, with a bit more edge in his tone this time. He was starting to feel pressured, and he was determined not to tell her anything until he was sure she 'felt' the same way. There would be no point in admitting it, and it will only cause problems for the both of them. He stared at her piercingly. "It's not normal, I know, but you don't need to know why. It's better this way, so just drop it. Figure it out yourself if you really want to know."

He sounded a bit harsh there, but this was seeping into his skin irritably. All Axel needed her to do, is say alright, she'll leave it alone, and he can go. Without her answer, he couldn't leave, as that would be running away.

Gwyxn sighed as she wandered around Twilight Town. Xin and Reixa were off shopping and finding out info somewhere, and she had no clue where anyone else was. Plus, she needed a break from all the drama everyone had been going through lately.

I just biked my friend home during a cloudburst. IT WAS POURING.

But I LOVE the rain, 'cause I live in the Desert. we hadly EVER get rain.

I now declare it officially fall. =D Hopefully the nice temperatures will last for a while before switching to freezing cold.

We get extremely long, hot summers, and extremely long, cold winters, with about two weeks of nice weather in between each season. Right now it's pretty nice.

... Where is chula-claire?

Awesome lightning storm ftw!

It was pouring. It. Was. So. Awesome.

The power even went out for a split second. My computer turned off, so that's why I was offline. That and I was out watching the lightning.

Did I just hear thunder?
