"I'll be right back," Xin said, and also portalled to her room. She looked around and found a purple spaghetti strap top, and a pair of dark jeans. On her feet were a pair of white Etnies with black laces.
She portalled to the main room, next to Rei.
"You know, it's been a while since any of us wore street clothes, hasn't it?"

 

A place for my head is a perfect <3 triangle song for Axel/Larxene/Rei, LOL haha. Idk if Rei?Axel will even happen and I'm getting a hyped up about it. ^^

Gwyxn nodded and tugged at her cloak. "These things do get really annoying to wear after a while."

 

It sounded as if Axel had cut himself off, stopping himself before he finished his question, but it was easy for Larxene to assume that he was going to say 'about me'. But to be asking, to be wondering why...it was another quality that was very uncharacteristic of himself.
What was with Axel these days? First, he laughed at her, seeming overly nonchalant about the whole matter - and about her - himself, and now he was acting cold and distant, as if he was bothered by something she was doing.
By something she was doing...the last thing she remembered was that he began acting like this when he noticed that she was staring out at Marluxia's empty chair...so was it Marluxia that was bothering him?
But there would be no reason for him to...like he had said himself, the whole notion of a Nobody feeling was ridiculous. And the mere fact of love, he had scoffed about it. If there was any hope that he was 'feeling' something close to affection for her, it had all dispersed by those words. There was definitely no way he would be caring about her more than a platonic relationship...perhaps not even that - maybe just as members of the Organization together. Nothing more...
But then, why would he ask if she cared about him? Or at least wondered why she was concerned at all...all of these things weren't adding up, and it was starting to confuse her. All she wanted right now, was for him to behave like normal again, teasing her, being irritating yet amusing, sarcastic yet playful...she just wanted the Axel she knew back again.
"Yes," she said, without hesitation. "Yes, I do." She tried to look directly into his eyes, to have him stop avoiding her gaze. "I care about you...and I don't like how you're acting this way...at all."
She was going to tell Axel the truth. She didn't always like to admit how she was 'feeling', or even thinking...but she wanted Axel to be normal again, and if the only way was to reveal her true thoughts, then she would.

OOC: I think I remember watching that video before, and I kept thinking the song would speed up, but it never did. xD But anyway, I love the timing on it. It's such a nice Larxel tribute.

 

OOC: I know. Honestly, I just went through with all of it because it was a death tribute to both Axel and Larxene. I really love it though, made me sniff.

It was then, after her words, that the mood and tension of the room changed into a more warming, yet, a more confined air. Maybe it was just him, but it seemed to rain down throughout his body, washing it all over, and sippping into his skin, and his back, to the tissues of his bones. His spine felt like it was being squeezed, and for the first time, he didn't know what to say. What could he say?

Axel did not expect her to say such things, no- it was more in the way she had expressed it, so liberal, honest, and meaningful. Has he really been acting that cold to her? He was only doing it to protect himself, and from further confusion. He took his 'feelings' as they were, and nothing else really.but there was also the red sign of a taboo, that they didn't have no hearts, thus, they shouldn't feel. But to him, it was a minor inconvenience. That wasn't the problem.

He made a deep connection with her blue eyes, rather, he had noticed, they were more aquatic, but they were plagued; they looked troubled, confused, sad, nostalgic, and perhaps...hurt? Axel stared at her intently, still ripped on what to tell her right now, or just keep it to himself. Despite his mind saying otherwise, he took one step towards her, then another followed languidly, and then he stopped, not wanting to get any further. There was no need, it was close enough.

He didn't break the eye contact, yet he had to say something, anything, and heaving out a sigh, he breathed, "Larxene I....never thought you will be concerned on how I acted, and that you wouldn't like it. I guess I don't know, I really don't. Jumped to conclusions? But I...I care alot about you too...," he halted there, thinking it over, before opening his mouth again, "I care so much about you, I just want you to know that...because, I haven't been exactly showing it lately."

His throat had dried from there, reluctant to say anything else.

Max walked into his room, shutting the door behind him. Just as according to plan. Lets see. I have obtained the girls interest. The red head seems to already have a despise for me growing in his mind. Next it appears I will have to go after the one who posseses the keybearers soul max thought, as he went over to the side of his room, and leaned against the wall

 

OOC: Well, the enemies are going to the city to check out stuff, while Larxene and Axel are talking.

Larxene listened to his words, thinking them over carefully, before speaking herself, "Then why are you acting this way? If you care about me so much?"
She couldn't understand what he was doing. Was he trying to stop caring so much about her? But why? They've always been like this, teasing each other, seeming argumentive, but always caring for each other at the core. So what was so different?
Perhaps...he was staring to think that he was 'feeling' something for her when he couldn't...but that wouldn't add up to those words he had said before...when he spoke about love, and the entire fact of feeling anything at all.
But then, what was bothering him? Why did he behave like this? She just couldn't comprehend it.

 

"We meet again" Zarix said appearing next to Larxene, hs slowly tilted his head to the left as he smiled.

 

ooc: uhhhhh, he just teleported next to larxene when she is in her room with axel. You gonna get your @$$ kicked dude.

 

Axel took in another deep breath, not knowing exactly how to explain this. He couldn't tell her yet, he didn't know what she would think or say, or if she will let him down. Axel was not one to reveal his inner thoughts, saying something to the likes that he has 'feelings' for her, and that he was utterly jealous of Marluxia. What if she might have some type of affection for him? What then? Not only will he be rejected, he'll look stupid.

Swallowing many times, tryin to get his throat to smooth over, he hoarsely spoke, "I have my own personal reasons I'm acting this way, Larxene. I can't really explain-"

He was interrupted by a voice scattering in the room, and he turned to see a black cloaked male portal next to Larxene. Trying not to act surprised, he eyed the girl in question, confused. What was another male talking to her? What does this make, three already? Well...four, counting him, but what the...

 

Larxene turrned, surprised at Zarix's sudden entrance. Although his hood was up, she could recognize him from his voice.
She saw him smiling, and she wondered if she was acting too nice earlier...but it was better than making another enemy, especially if this could prove advantageous...although she wished he could've came later, after she finished discussing the problem with Axel.
However, was he here for a different reason...?
"Hello, Zarix," she said. "What...what are you doing here?"

 

"I'd have to ask the same," Axel added saucily, crossing his arms, and piercing his eyes at the intruder. He was more annoyed at the fact that he had come out of nowhere to disrupt their conversation, and he audaciously ruined the moment and atmosphere with his presence.

Axel just wanted him to leave, but after this, he didn't know if he could go on with the discussion. It just bothered him, and now he didn't feel in the mood to talk about it anymore.

 

Zarix yawned slighty "I was interrumping something, something that has to do with love?" He whispered to last part to Axel, as he slowly tilted his head to the other said.

 

Max opened a portal, as he walked through it, coming at right on top of the clock tower in twilight town. "This should be a good place. It will prove to be a common place where both larxene and roxas should be reachable from" max said.

ooc: he already knows who roxas is since he is sort of a main charecter towards his own plans.

 

Axel just simply raised a eyebrow, his face blank, not wanting to let this guy faze him. It wasn't exactly love, so to speak, but it was close. At least he thought it wasn't love. It really can't be possible that he would have gotten that far, not yet. Great. This guy was making him run his thoughts over again, which he didn't want to do right this moment.

Leering at him, he returned, "No, it isn't. And if it was, what's it to you?" He took a breath there, now eyeing him carefully, "Is there something you want?"

 

So......what happened?
