Organization XIII's Rivals

Xioimara opened her eyes, and snarled at him. She stood up to see on of his lances coming straight for her. She didn't react instead she willing took on the attack. She dodged to the side on the last moment but was still hit. In the side. She felt a painful swipe shoot from nerve to nerve. It had sliced open her side well, but she still stood.

"Your just acting full of yourself. Give me all you've got. Its just us. Or are you gonna run, and watch to see if someone else attacks me?" She questioned him with almost a threat. She snarled again. This time it echoed down the halls. Xioimara realized how loud it was but didn't move. The hackles on her neck started to rise up she jumped up at Xaldin, her jaws open. She was only fighting to defeat him but not kill him. Killing wasn't within her reach or theory.

 

"Watch it!"Xaldin warned her as all of his lances stayed infront of him,creating a sharp wall of defense.He only warned her since if she died too soon,he wouldnt have any fun."Come now,wheres the fun in this?''he asked.Se couldnt win this alone,no one could beat him alone.She would atl east need a walking and talking dog with her.maybe a grumpy talking duck.

 

Xioimara bounced away at the barrier, and landed on all four crouched down. She smiled in an almost happy way. Inside, she was feeling lost. She knew she would be dead soon enough. She still didn't say anything and almost taunted him by not saying anything. If she died she would die without crying out to him. She would've been better off running back to Xigbar. Regret was starting to set in but she didn't show it at all.

'Don't think about him now. Only concentrate on fighting. You'll get occupied and be signing a form with Death.' She thought, and suddenly came back to the real world. The ground below her was shaking and stood up straight and looked at the flooring. 'Danger! Move! Get away!' She thought and jumped away for a moment. The whole floor itself was ready to collapse.

"Move!" She suddenly said to Xaldin but almost threatening. She ran towards him to try and get him away from the part of the ground.

Reixa's footsteps ceased as she stood at Axel's side, his deep green irises settling on her own. His question provoked an utmost anxiety in the pit of her stomach and shook her to the core. Rei's lips parted slightly as she let the idea sink in, swallowing a hard lump in her throat. "...yeah. I did, every word." Feeling the corner of her mouth curve into a smile, her eyes felt watery and heavy. "I do love you, Axel. But I know you and Larxene love each other more. And I want you guys to be happy."

OOC: Spitfire, Spitfire, Spitfire.... *wink*hint*wink* Spitfire.... xDDD.

Larpex looked out of the corner of her eye to see a member with her hood up, standing by a tree and looking around cautiously. She seemed somewhat familiar, and she radiated the feeling of an opposing element. And the most common opposite of water would be...

"Xangel!" Smiling brightly, Larpex looked back at Toxcst as she stood. "Just a minute." Jogging over to her, she looked closely at whatever parts of her face were visible. Same nose, face shape... it was her! "Xangel? Do you remember me? I'm Larpex. And that's Toxcst, Xin, Cepxis, Kevix, Xadyn, Abexecca, and Xandlei. I think we're missing Kasha, Max, and Reixa," she said, pointing out ech member.Thinking for a moment, she couldn't help but wonder where Rei could be.

"That's very self-sacrificial of you..." Axel tried to joke, attempting a smile, though it died on his lips the moment it came up. He kind of expected the confirmation, but a part of him wished it wasn't so, simply because he didn't love her back. He remained quiet for a while, keeping on staring at Reixa, into her watery eyes, not exactly knowing what to say to this. Damn, he couldn't believe he actually made her fall in love with him, especially without his notice, and he wondered what he did so much to enthrall her the way he did, considering their first meeting wasn't exactly...delightful. Maybe it was just being himself. Yet, they can't progress any more other than a deep friendship, as he didn't see her in the light she did, and he had Larxene there for him...which no one could replace. Even if it has been questionable to him after seeing that...damn kiss, and her reaction, his faith for her was strong. Closing his eyes, he simply took in a deep breath, and opened them, gazing at the ebony haired female before him, "I'm sorry..."

That was something he didn't really want to reply with, but as of now, it was the only thing he could think of. Shaking his head though, he added, the words spilling from his mouth as he let his true contemplations run through, "If it was just another time...I probably could've loved you. You're a amazing girl, Reixa, and you and me actually have a lot in common, and I do see myself with you if it to happen, but...with Larxene, is just, special for some reason, I love her so much...and even if Larxene could've come after you, I probably would've fallen for her in the end too, so I think it was better this way. But, maybe now...you can find your own special someone to have, that maybe you didn't see because of your love for me or some cliché crap like that, you get the point. Though I do mean it. Everyone is meant to be with somebody...I'm sure of that." He sent her a amused expression with a wild grin, after repeating the same line he had said to Xigbar, the heavy tension in him now residing, before stepping up to her slowly. When he reached her, right in front, he simply placed a finger gently in her chin to lift it up, his other free arm wrapping around her waist to pull her closer to him, his face getting nearer until both their hot breaths were mingling...a familiar air of déjà vu around the situation, yet, he just wanted to give her this to seal the deal fully, one final gift. Either way, he whispered to her honestly, their foreheads touching as he gazed into her green orbs, "I'm glad I met you, Spitfire."

And he captured her lips with his, closing his eyes as he moved his mouth slightly against hers, giving her a quick kiss, knowing and not wanting it to go any deeper.

OOC: One final last kiss to end it all, right? xP I think is fair, considering she never had a REAL kiss (as small as it is) with the REAL Axel without his own sense of will there.

 

Heeding Xio's sudden warning and looking below him to the ground,Xaldin had noticed that the part of the roof he was standing on was nearly about to collapse.He gracefully jumped back and stood atop a chimney and watched the exact spot where he was before,collapse.Then the question of Xio's sudden warning came back into his mind."..Why did you tell me that?..I could have been severly injured if I fell..''he told her,but still looked at his original spot.

Xigbar,after watching Axel and some other girl kiss and flirt,looked back up at the Nameless castle to find that part of the roof was sliding on,and for some odd reason Xaldin was perfectly visible,and it seemed he was talking with someone,but who?

 

Xangel was hiding behind a tree....but that's okay....

Xangel didn't quite know what to say. Here I thought they'd all kill me.....and yet......I hardly know any of them.....well.....everyone else might kill me...but......that guy was eyeing me a bit weird....if anyone's going to kill me first it'd be him.....what did she say?....he was Toxcst?...... She grew a bit nervous.

Um......don't....take this the wrong way..uh...Larpex right?...but...uh...I don't....really know.....half the people here......including you........so sorry.....

She bowed her head and became very fascinated in a patch of grass on the ground.

 

Xioimara started to back up as the floor started to collapse. She stopped at the sound of a cracking from below her. Looking down, the floor started to fall.
'What's happening?' She thought not paying attention. She suddenly put her front paws on part of the unbroken floor, starting to pull herself up. She had half her body pulled over when she heard Xaldin speaking again and didn't reply back for a moment.

"Thats..." She started looking blankly ahead of her, and pinned back her ears nervously. "No one deserves death or injury..." She went quiet her throat tightened. She should've used this time to attack and get away or run for Xigbar. Someone. Anyone. For help. She couldn't run. Her blood ran cold. She had no where to get away unless...
'I should jump...No, thats running from my problems...' She thought and stayed quiet not looking at Xaldin.

 

"...Pull yourself up,I rarely attack defenseless opponents..''Xaldin said,silently,uplifting the wind below her to get her a boost.What Xio said hit him somewhere..no one deserves death or injury.."..You've made me reconsider destroying you..I dont know why..''he muttered,hands behind his back again.

Xigbar realized it was Xio and began warping up there to join her.

 

Xioimara pulled herself up, and sat down.
"Damn, ruined my contract with death." She muttered with a slight sarcastic tone. She was starting to get this first with Xigbar and now Xaldin. She only had to do the same thing with...all of their other members...and with her organization. Xioimara looked around hearing a weird sound and saw a black portal. Xigbar. She still had the feeling he wouldn't recognize her in the new form she had. And even worse she still had tot figure out how to change back. Instead, she looked at him quietly. She put her front leg by the wound in her side to cover it up.

 

Xigbar stepped ut of the portal and glanced down at Xio,and then back up at Xaldin."..Picking on kids now?''he asked.
"She came to me..''Xaldin stated,glaring at Xigbar."she's still here..''
Xigbar looked down at Xio."Are you ok?''he asked

 

"Wha..?" Xioimara asked, she had been looking at the sky, and she looked at Xigbar, "Oh, yeah. I was trying to start a fight. I suck at fighting. I just got a scratch nothin' bad." She said, standing up. "The others were just sorta ignoring me, I guess. I came back here to see if I could stop him from destroying this dump we called Home." She said to him.
"Weird, huh? I was coming here earlier to fight and then Abyss made me stab myself and now I can turn into a dog. Wolf. Whatever it would be."

 

OOC: Guys,seriously stop ignoring her,not cool.

"...riiiiight...''Xigbar mumbled,not believing his ears.She stabbed herself and now she can transform into a wolf?..
"Hard to believe,isnt it?''Xaldin asked Xigbar,not believing her story entirely."..I've decided to spare her..for now''he said silently.
Xigbar glared at Xaldin."She's not alone in this fight anymore,watch your back..''
"Indeed I will..''Xaldin said,then ported off.

"Don't believe me?" She questioned. "Well, guess what, he's no longer here anymore." Xioimara said and sat down looking at the ground. That's right. He was gone. For good.
"Damn," She said to herself standing up. She started to feel angry. He just left. 'What if he was just doing that because he didn't want to be around me anymore. Or better yet, because she wasn't strong enough.'

 

"Looks like you've somehow touched his emotions..he doesnt spare his enemies live's too often..consider yourself lucky..''Xigbar told Xio,putting his arm around her shoulder and trying to comfort her."..Let me see that scratch you were telling me about''

There isn't any hidden text here :D Okay, maybe its a lie.
Xioimara smiled weakly at Xigbar and went quiet when he asked her about the scratch. It wasn't a scratch. More like a deep wound someone would get after being tortured of some sort. She had been doing her best to hide it so far. It was painful but she was able to hide that concept.
She stayed quiet and show him the cut on her side. It was deep and pretty bloody, but she'd live.

 

I'm not ignoring her.....we just haven't had any contact........

There was a long awkward silence as Angel just simply looked at everyone and stopping a bit longer on Xin and Xadyn.

 

Thinking hard about what Axel had said, she began to nod. But as he lifted her chin, she let out a small gasp as her old nickname was whispered in her ear. It was uplifting enough as it was, and almost made her forget that his arm was around her waist, pulling them closer to each other. Reixa felt his lips connect with hers, filling her with thoughts of delight... and confusion. Should she return the favor? She shouldn't, but this was the only moment that it had ever been real.

Ah, what the hell.

Slowly cocking her head to the side, she lifted a hand to his and held it gently. She simply held the kiss and didn't go any further, letting the idea sink in. That he was willing to be her friend. He forgave her. And he gave her this last kiss on his behalf. It wasn't much, but for now, it almost gave her the true emotion of happiness.

Now tilting her head forward and breaking the lip-lock quickly without letting herself go too far, Reixa's forehead rested on his. Opening her eyes and smiling, she pulled away slightly. She wanted to say something like 'Thank you' or 'I'm glad we're friends', but nothing seemed appropriate. Lost for words, she settled on whatever came to mind. "Axel, I think what you said was right. If in some weird way we had been together and you ended up with Larxene anyway, I don't think we'd ever be able to just be friends. It is better this way." Rei put a small strand of black hair behind her ear, looking up at him. "And I'm glad I met you."

 

"Why didnt you say it was deep?...we have to close up this wound,do any of your friends have any medical skills?''Xigbar asked,knowing little about first aid himself.He'd have to worry about her dog form later on.

 

Larpex sighed, putting a hand on her hip. "Yeah, I figured. Sorry if this all seems so sudden for you." Bending her neck down so that she was in Xangel's line of vision, she smiled with a friendly gesture. "I hope... no, I know you'll remember, eventually." Nodding in reasurrance, she gently took Xangel's arm. "Come on, sit by us. We can wait for the others together."
