"Luckily, you became a guiny pig for one of the cheese mans new machines. That was partially keeping you alive, but then, there was a little problem. Zexion tried to kill you, though, I am sure that you don't need any further explanation after that. The machine was acting a bit troublesome as well, and so, I ended up saving you, and bringing you here, so that way zexion couldn't spoil you with that filth of a thing that he dares to call his concious. Besides, you are to valuable to be layed to waste by some...........insect" max said, looking disgusted when using the term to describe zexion

 

Axel tried to get this all in his head as Max spoke, ignoring the jabs at Zexion, though the fact that he tried to kill him resounded in his ears like a pounding echo, not believing the Cloaked Schemer will go to that level. Is that how bad he wanted to get rid of him? Sabotage his recovery for the sake of whatever the hell he's planning? His eyes narrowed into slits as a sudden burn dabbled in his gut, flowing to his stomach like hot water, but there were other things at hand to attend to, he couldn't get angry now. "So let me get this straight. Vexen used me as a guinea pig, how? And the machine recovered me, how? Another thing, in what way Zexion tried to kill me? I mean, why didn't he succeed, did you do something? And what happened that went 'troublesome', was it malfunctioning?"

There were some missing holes in his words somewhere, hence the constant questions, as Axel didn't know how Vexen could've been genius enough to invent such a machine, let alone put him in it to save him? Didn't the man detest him, and vice versa? Why would he save him at the chance of finally getting rid of him? Then again...the word guinea pig did come to mind...was he a test? Axel let out a sigh as his hands pressed against his face, trying to figure it out. He wasn't sure even Max could reply to this, but there was no harm in trying.

 

"Apparently, zexion had attempted to pull the plug on your little healing machine. Thankfully, the key bearer saved you. THe machine had started malfunctioning later on though, and because I was keeping watch of you, I was able to come in in time to save you. If I had not, then you would have died due to the machines incompatince. Vexen had already cleaned your wounds, and stitched the one woudn in your stomach which would have killed you, thanks to the cheese man, and the machine that you were in, from my point of veiw, appeared to some how have been slowing down your passing away, as in, it prevented you from fading. That is all I could really learn about the machine though." max explained

 

Axel nodded at the information, understanding now, and any other explanation he could get when he went back, though one title stood out of everything else. Keybearer. And he couldn't help the smile that crossed his face at the thought of him stopping Zexion from succeeding. It also somehow rumbled something in his memory...the dream he had...about Reixa. He remembered, and he still couldn't understand it, but he was sure he said something along the lines of sending a message...sending a message to Roxas and Larxene because they were sad...

He shut his eyes, trying to check his mind for any of the conversation. The thing that stood out was Reixa admitting she loved him...which shocked him still, aura colored twilights, and that she and Larxene fought over him...but why would that be? Axel rubbed his head as he preceded a headache coming, but he had to keep trying. Something...stop being a dumba**...that just because he stayed loyal and watched over him is enough, so stop to feel guilty...yeah, and about Traverse Town. He sighed.

It wasn't working that much, but he needed to talk to Roxas sooner on it to see the real deal. And Larxene...was she going reckless? Axel wanted to go back by now, wanting to see how everyone was. Either way, one thing was blatant to him.

Roxas....I owe you, best buddy...

But then that meant, he owed Max as well, considering that if it wasn't for him, he honestly would've been dead. Oh goodness. His smile quickly turned into a frown at the thought of this....owning something to...to...this guy. Then again, he did wastes his time explaining these things to him, and put him in a safe place for shelter...but still, this was the guy who he first met by seeing him flirting with Larxene. Snarling, he looked up at Max. "Anything else? You told me something about Larxene being Zexion's puppet...why would that be?"

OOC: *sigh* No...I'm starting to wonder why the long break?

bic: "Ah yes, that. You see, zexion is one who dislikes change. If anything, you and larxene represent pure change. He cannot except the fact that you both have the ability to feel. It is this which had driven him to try to kill you. Now that he thinks that you are dead, he will simply try to deprive Larxene of all feeling, and return her to her darker nature. The nature which will deprive her of her emotions, as well as the bear feelings left in her very soul. If this happens, then, she will not have one drop of love for you left, and she will simply be as stupid as your average day blonde, allowing zexion to use her as he may have before. I am quite certain that he will want to make sure that she cannot return to such a moment, of being able to feel, after all." max explained. "And that, is what brings me to one of my reasons of saving you dear axel. You see, I require your help" max said.

 

OOC: Lmao xDDD. And, ROFTL at the "as stupid as your average day blonde" xP. Death, you killed me with that post.

Axel felt like Max's voice was off-distance, yet hearing everything that he was telling him. He couldn't fully trust the guy, or his words except what he required as truth, but he wouldn't put it pass Zexion to try something like that either. Not the way Max placed it, but he somehow was aware that the Cloaked Schemer did try something with Larxene, what perfect chance is there left when her love was dead and gone, and wouldn't have to be dealt with? The same burn that he felt before now traveled in his chest, his blood going to his head at a high rate when he felt the sudden fury confronting his whole body, and he clenched his fists, so hard, it could've made him bleed as his nails dug into the skin of his palms. His lips tightened, his eyebrows crunched in anger, and his breathing became uneven, and he gritted his teeth to try and control himself from doing something as he could see little embers surrounding his body from the heat.

That was the last straw for Zexion, he had warned him, time and time again, not to get in the way, to mind his own damn business, and he didn't comply. And that was enough for Axel, his patience with the illusionist was out the window. Time to get rid of him, especially now that he was back alive. But not like this though, and he found himself cooling down a bit as a thought passed through his head. The haunting ghost of Axel, indeed.

Getting up, he ignored the state he was in, and stood on his feet forcibly, almost stumbling back from the lack of walking, but he regained his balance just as quick, and with his eyes blurring with the thirst of a certain someone’s head, he chuckled, a sadistic, low, and amused chuckle that could chill anyone’s spine, and he snapped his head up at Max, a devious and dangerous smirk on his face with a look to kill. Time for his scheming mind to be put in good use after a long rest. “Actually, I think I will help you. What do you have to say?â€

And his green eyes connected with Max’s for the first time.

 

"Dark plans, and I can assure you that the cloaked schemers future will be looking very bleak" Max said confidently, as they both began conversing of certain subjects in matter after along while, but he would need Axel's full trust on this if it was to succeed.

OOC: How is it when I'm offline for a long period of time, chula comes on, and when I'm on, she's not? lol

Zexion impatiently tapped his fingers on the arm of his throne. Now, he couldn't exactly 'feel' that impatience, but he could tell that he was really longing to just warp to where Larxene was and drag her straight to the meeting so it could end. They were just wasting time waiting for her...and soon Saix...
Just then, an idea clicked to his mind. A smirk playing briefly across his lips, he tilted his head up, speaking to Xemnas, "Superior...if you do not mind, there is something I must do...I will return shortly..."
The Cloaked Schemer watched as he turned his head to face him, giving a nod before sidling his gaze back to looking straight ahead.
Darkness circled him as he disappeared, materlizing in the Hall of Empty Melodies. The area was similar to the Throne Room, with the exception of being wider, less circular, with two alcoves and no seats. Now that he was here, alone...
"Kevix," he called out, his voice echoing slightly. "Show yourself..."
He wasn't sure if he'd really appear right in front of him, but it was worth a shot...besides, it'd take some time, wouldn't it?

 

OOC: I don't know ^^;, but is saddening.

Axel didn't care as long Zexion's future did look bleak, and he himself had a personal hand in it. His resolution was made permanent when Max mentioned how...how he kissed Larxene, the rage he 'felt' when he heard that coming out of his mouth almost even combusted Max himself as he went haywire for a second, cursing Zexion's damn existence. He still couldn't believe it even now...he kissed her...Larxene.

Grimly staring listlessly at the ground, not knowing what to think about that or what was Larxene's reaction (though she did fight him off), he gazed at Max searchingly when he looked up again. He didn't grasp how he would be able place his trust on him, it was hard to. Yet, Zexion was more of a greater enemy right now, and he distrusted the Schemer more than the guy standing in front of him. But there was a chance he could turn his back on him as well...that could be done easily. Axel already had a back-up for that in case it does happen, which he doubted, concerning that he was still a main piece to Max's own secret plot. There was nothing to lose except someone's life.

Sighing, he spoke low, coming to a decision, "Fine, I'll put some sort of faith in you for now. Though, as much as it kills me...again, there's another thing..." Axel hesitated very long there, not really wanting to say it, and he didn't have much honor, if at all, but this called for it. Rolling his eyes, he finally added, "Since you saved me and all, I guess... Ioweyoumylifesosaywhatyouwantfromme."

He said the last part fast, hoping Max wouldn't understand, and so his pride wouldn't sink that low. He shuddered. Of all debts, he had to be in his.

 

OOC: I'M ALIVE!!! Haha, holiday rush. Can I bother you guys with a recap? I left off when we were fighting Marly and Xiggy and Xaldin ^^;

Simply, the Organization (ours) is having a meeting after Saïx explained the situation to Xemnas, and now they are going to place Axel with Xangel, and to deliver the news of Axel's fall and new member to the others. This is what Tula placed last time:

Uh...yeah ^^;. So now, there are already, Roxas won't be happy with Xangel very long as he is starting to suspect that they will actually replace his best friend, and Larxene is in the other castle, trying to fight members, either from pain or revenge, or something else, and not caring that she was called for a meeting.

As for what me and Deathsight are doing, I suggest you skim over it when you have the time from page 485 to now (is not much, most of it is other posts as well xP). I just don't want to say anything like this in a recap, you get me? :sweatdrop: (and it mentions Reixa) But then, if you want, tell me and I'll explain it with no problem.

Reixa lifted her head slowly, shaking it as she stood. Looking around, the room was a complete mess. Sighing regrettably, she portalled to the main room. Sluping down on the couch, Reixa rolled up her sleeves to examine her aching arms, only to find minor cuts and bruises.

Larpex walked out on the grounds, spotting Abexecca. "Hey!" Rushing to her side, she placed a hand on her shoulder pleasantly. She smiled, looking down at the sleeping Xandlei. "...Reixa's inside, the other men left. When Xandlei wakes up... he should probably talk to her."

 

OOC: Of course we did :3! I can't believe you got caught though. And DestinyStar, I think, would be extremely happy xD, she needed you most.

 

OOC: Yeah? Well, I'll be online more often now, seeing as I'm all caught up. And of course, I have another week and a half of staying-up-late vacation time ^_^. Hey, how's the fanfic coming along? I'm eager to read more.

 

OOC: Not that much :sweatdrop:. I should, but I haven't. I'm in half a writer's block at the moment. I mean, not really, I know where I want the story to go and the real plot, but is the things I got to add in between, which I'm still brainstorming.

HI. I was away you know how it is with Christmas. I got a scanner, a drawing tablet, Guitar Hero 3 for PS3, Two classical albums, Origami Stuff, Chocolate Monopoly, A New Violin Case and an Electric Violin (the same ones that the riverdance people use), And amplifier for the Violin, 4 boxes of chocolates, A pocket IQ test (I got 140 that's the top 2.2% of the population), A teddy, toblarone, The King and I on DVD, Pirates of the Carribean on Blu-Ray, Books on how to do Sugarcraft, a dressing gown, Jammies and about £70 (i think that's about $140).

He decided that now, trying to get Xangel was a hopeless case. If he went to their meeting room now, he would have to take on 13 Organization members. He did not like the sound of that at all. He opened a portal of darkness and stepped through to the main room.

"Hey Rei. Listen, I'm sorry, I couldn't get Xangel, Saïx, that creep, got in the way and so did Zexion.
