Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

Axel giggled a bit before walking back to him. "Of course." He placed his hand on Demyx's shoulder.

 

Demyx led them both out his bedroom and closed the door behind. "I suggest we go to the kitchen... I could go for some breakfast about now, you too?"

 

"Yeah, I geuss. But what is really there to eat?" Axel said and leaned on Demyx as if he was tired.

 

"Ehh... noodles?" Suggested Demyx. He shrugged, "I don't really care what I eat... I just feel like staying in the castle today, for a change."

 

He nodded. "Aye, we might have some Ramen, hopefully." Axel said and smiled at Demyx. "Do you like ramen?"

 

Demyx itched the back of his head embarrassedly. "Well... actually, I've never tasted it."

 

Axel blinked once in shock and stopped walking. "Y-your kidding, right?" He sighed a bit and smiled. "Well then, I might as well make you some!"

 

Demyx turned to see why Axel had stopped and once he'd heard what the redhead had said, he nodded and decided, "Got to try everything at least once..."

Demyx opened a portal to the kitchen after realising Axel seemed a bit tired. They both made their way through.

 

Axel walked out into the kitchen and imediantly went to the fridge. He opened it and grabbed what seemed to be the last Dr.Pepper. He sung over to the counter and picked up a pack of ramen. He ran to the stove and got out a pan. "So what flavor do you want?" He asked while turning around.

 

"No, no, I think you misunderstood," Lexaeus said. "As you probably know, Vexen and Larxene never really got along." ((CoM stuff)) "So, given that they are both female now, how do you think their attitudes towards each other will change?"

He noticed Axel and Demyx arrive and called out to them. "Hey, Axel, Demyx! Want to learn Contract Bridge with me from Luxord?"

 

Axel put som water in the pand and turned around, "Contact Bridge? Never heard of it." He turned back and put the pan on the stove and dumped the ramen in it aswell.

 

"I'm fine." Vexen smiled, her face lighting up. "Where have you been? I looked for you the other day." The woman scolded herself for admitting so, not wanting Roxas to know that she had actually saught someone out.

"I mean, I briefly did. But..." Too late, she could not take it back. Hoping that her statement would not be caught by the young member, she smiled again, casually playing with an orchid, and reinstated her question. "Where have you been?"

"Oh, um, erm..." Roxas didn't know how to respond to the last question Vexen asked him. His eyes wandered around, but he knew he couldn't avoid the answer. "Well, it's a really long story. I'm sure you've heard about it, so I won't bore you with the tale."

He layed down the rose he had been holding in his hand. He quickly tried to change the subject and asked, "So, what's up with you and Marluxia? I think I saw you two eating together a few nights ago." Roxas sincerely hoped it would change the topic of discussion, but knowing Vexen, she'd bring it back up.

 

Marluxia? That was not a subject Vexen wanted to bring up. She had not seen the pink-haired man since their date and she very much hoped that he was not avoiding her. This being her first date and her first time as a woman, she struggled with her emotions and self esteem, not that she had been any better as a man. In fact, she had been quite an awkward man.

"Oh, Marluxia? Yes, we ate together for his birthday... as friends." She hoped she was not letting her emotions show. Change the subject, Vexen! She screamed this inside her head.

"So," she brushed her hair out of her face and turend to walk towards the lilies, "what matter is it that you do not wish to bore me with? I'm not so certain that I know." She guessed that this had something to do with Axel and Demyx, but she needed to change the subject. After smelling the flowers, she turned to the boy with an expectant look. "Hmm?"

Roxas shook his head to get the one strand of hair out of his face. "Erm. Well, I guess it was the night of Marluxia's birthday. I went to find him a gift. And I ended up seeing 'you know who' and his 'friend' (Roxas put up the finger quotations around the word 'friend'). Well, the red-headed bandit came up to me and told me about an old picture he found while snooping in my trash," he started off, hoping that Vexen was paying more attention to his story than the flowers. He was in no mood to talk about this again.

"I don't know what he was doing looking through my trash, but the picture was of Axel and me, with a few words on it. He confronted me and told me that Demyx was out of the picture." It was hard for Roxas to find the right words, but he hoped that his tale was giving off the truth. "I tried to tell him that the picture was from a long time ago and that I've moved on, but Axel didn't take it as well as I'd hoped."

He tried to remember the exact details of that evening. He paused momentarily, then continued. "Long story and I went out to a bar, and I guess I had one or two or probably more like seven too many, and then I just remember waking up this morning. I'm sure something else happened that I just don't know about, but there," he said. "Happy?"

The young member was still focused on the Marluxia topic. "And back to Marluxia...."

 

((Guys? I want ya to know I won't be on much... I gotta study for mah first round of exams EVER - and Mom's NOT taking no for an answer.... >.> I'll be on as much as possible, but, hell, I'm not even supposed to be on now! XD Wish me luck, cuz if I don't pass with flying colors, you can expect me not to be on a good while later. XD))

Xigbar's eyes followed Axel as he strode into the room with Demyx, his face inscrutible. The little sneak! he raged inside of his head. I'd bet 500 bucks that he's already forgotten our deal...

He watched Axel shove past him, jabbering on to Demyx about what kinda flavor ramen he wanted. Yep. He's forgotten. he thought, sighing and rolling his eyes. Then, a small smile started to play on his lips. No matter, though... I can always remind him... Let's see... What's the best way to do it without upsetting his little "luvver" over there...?

Xigbar began clearing his throat loudly, covering his mouth with his hand. "A-hem! Axel!" he called out in a friendly tone. He pulled some mustard, chicken, and mushrooms out of the fridge, and set them beside the rest of the junk he'd already pulled out. "Nice to see ya! You're doin' okay today?" He rushed back to the fridge. "GREAT!" he called out, before waiting to hear Axel's answer.

He browsed through the items some more, pulling out more things, like olives ((On a random note... I hate olives. XD)), cheese, and lettuce. He lifted up the top of a container that held something that resembled lasagna, sniffed, and winced. Then, he shrugged. Meh... I'll be okay... He pulled that out, too.

Finally, he closed the fridge door, and said, in a voice a little lower, "Hey Axel..." He started walking toward him. "Look... I was wondering just today...." He was now right up to Axel's face. "You remember that deal we had? Ya know, the one about...." He smiled a little, raised his eyebrows, and nodded a little in Demyx's direction. "When ya gona pay me back, buddy?" he inquired in sort of a purr. His fingers be gan drumming the counter.

((Blah... That's a big post.. @_@ Not the biggest I've done - by far... But pretty damn big... @_@ Hope your eyes are still okay! XDDD))

 

"Oh dear." Vexen turned to the boy and shook her head in a light hearted manner. "You need to be careful with those drinks."

The blonde scientist remembered the dramatic day well. She had not been aware of its impact on Roxas. In truth she did not want to particularly talk about it. Still, talking about Marluxia was still not a topic she was fond of at the moment, though she knew she could not avoid it for doing so would arouse suspicion in the boy.

She now had an orchid in her hand, which she tried to fix into her hair. "What about Marluxia?" She had not meant that statement to come out as defensive as it had, so she flashed a quick smile in hopes of recovering her calm character. "I mean, we were eating that night to celebrate for his birthday. Poor fellow, Axel did not make that day very easy to enjoy." She did not want to linger on that topic, for it was not her concern, and it seemed to upset her companion. "Afterwards we returned to the castle." She finished aranging the flower in her hair, its deep purple color contrasting beautifully against her pale skin and hair, which draped slightly over it.

"But beyond that, there is nothing more on the matter. I have not seen that pink flower since." She hoped that answer would suffice. "But Roxas, how good it is to be in your company again. Like I mentioned, it's been quite a while since I saw you last." Blowing a strand of hair out of her face and cocking her head slightly, she asked, "Would you like to get something to eat? I am a bit hungry." She smiled.

Axel took a sip of his soda before realizing that what Xigbar was saying. "Ahh yes, I have been wondering when you were going to finally speek f that, But please lets not discuss it here." He said and tilted his head to Demyx after he finished. He turned back to the ramen and grabbed a good spoon. His stirred it and looked over at Demyx who seemed to be in a daze agan. Axel sighed a bit and looked at what Xigbar was going to make. "Ewww..." Is all he could say.

 

Roxas hadn't though of food. His conversation had distracted him from his fairly empty stomach, which had happened to let out a small groan just as Vexen finished her question. "Uh, yeah. Food sounds really good. Any suggestions?"

He was happy to be with a fellow friend. He had been rather lonely since the "incident". Roxas was especially glad to be in company with the blonde since at times, it was only she who could understand what he went through. "Food's on me, by the way."

 

"I just don't know... I'm very confused." Marluxia whispered to himself, as he sat on the doorway in front of his room. He was lost in a world that didn't seem to understand him, or rather, a world he didn't understand himself. He got up and headed towards the flower garden. "I need a better place to think..."
