Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

Axel got up and dusted the sand off his trench coat. "So France it is. Paris, here we come." He put an arm out and opened a portal. He slowly walked through it.

 

Lexaeus knew listening was one of his hobbies, but he knew from Vexen's turning away that it was a matter that demanded privacy. Certainly it was a touchy issue, given the way Luxord extricated himself.

"PoS." Lexaeus shook his head. "Vexen, do you have anything that can help me learn Contract Bridge efficiently? Luxord was supposed to teach me but I think he forgot about it."

 

They both appeared in France. Demyx looked around in awe. "Wooooow... what do you want to do first?" He asked Axel.

Axel looked up around and saw that the Eiffel Tower was just a few minitues of walking off. He pointed in that direction. "How about there?"

 

Xigbar couldn't keep his eyes open long enough to hear the answer. He sighed and closed his eyes again, falling into a deep, dark sleep.

Demyx spotted the Eiffel Tower too. "Okay, great." He said with a smile. They both headed in that direction. "So, do you know any French, Axel?"

 

"Nope." Axel said and held Demyx's hand. "Why do you?"

Luxord would still be in his room, doing a bit of a rock as he held himself closely together. He'd get up, however, to go to his bathroom and fill the tub up with warm, nearly hot, water. He'd take off his clothes and sit down in the tub, relaxing a bit.

He made it a bubble bath, and he grabbed the rubber ducky that was at the corner of the tub. He'd squeeze it a bit to make it do a bit of a 'quack' sound, sighing as he set it on the water, letting it float around. He also had a little boat in the water, not thinking that anyone would disturb him at this time. Luxord would arch his back a bit as he tried to get comfortable, his neck covered with water as he was slouching in.

He'd expect that the water would soothe his troubles away, like some people would say. He'd cup his hands and get water in the little 'bowl' figure, pouring it over his head. He was in his own little world again, wondeing what the rest of the Organization were doing, especially Xigbar. Last he saw him he was in the lab still....Oh well, he'll find out later.

Vexen looked to Lexaeus with the answer to his question written all over her face. "What makes you think that I would know?" She shook her head and chuckled. "I think it would do you best to just track Luxord down and ask him."

She did not wait for a response from the man and instead turned as if she were to return to her research. In reality she was left wondering about Luxord and his Xigbar plushie. The man had left so suddenly. She knew he was trying to hide something.

Could he actually have feelings for Xigbar? She glanced back at the figure laying on the table and found this very hard to believe.

But she did not want to concentrate on this. She opened a portal and was about to walk out. Before doing so, she turned to Lexaeus and said, "You can stay and watch over sleeping beauty over there." She smiled her soft smile. "Or not. I think he'll be fine either way." Then with that she walked out...

... and found herself in the kitchen. She needed somthing to help relax her. Preparing some sweet white tea she could not help but think, Boy, I miss Marluxia.

 

Axel sighed from getting no response. He put his head on Demyx's shoulder as they walked. He was a bit bored and tried to start a conversation, "So... what would you do if we never got back together?"

 

Lexaeus shook his head. "Fair enough. I guess I asked too much of you." He sat down to watch the slumbering Xigbar. If Luxord wanted to teach him Contract Bridge he would come out into the open rather than shrinking away. For now, it was better to watch Number Two and ensure he hurt no one else.

 

Luxord would get out from taking his bath and dry himself off quickly, remembering what Lexaeus wanted him to do. He'd make a portal and walk through to find Xigbar and Lexaeus. "Hey...still want me to teach you Contract Bridge?"

Demyx felt Axel's arm on his shoulder and looked towards the man. "I don't know... I probably would have stayed in my room for a lot longer." He chuckled. "Life sucked without you... and how about you? What would you have done?"

 

"I don't know." He said and sighed. "Most likely do worse damage to myself. I don't want to be alone again..."

 

After sipping her tea in the the empty kitchen, hearing every tick and creek of the castle in the silence of solitude, Vexen found herself in the most unlikely of places: outside Roxas's room. To think that the unsocial scientist was searching out a fellow member. In truth, she was lonely without Marluxia, whom she had not seen since their date. She wondered where he was for a moment.

She was also without Roxas, whom was always a welcomed companion. As for the other members, they either seemed too caught up in their own lives or she just did not feel close enough to seek them out.

So after knocking repeatedly on the boy's door, and even creeking it open and finding the room empty, she resigned herself to her room, defeated. All she could do now was sleep. She plopped herself on her soft bed, clothes and all, and was surprised at just how tired she was. It seemed as though the moment her head made contact with her pillow she was off to the land of dreams.

 

Demyx cringed at Axel's answer. "I really wish you wouldn't say or do that." He said. "I only just hope you realise that I hate to see you in pain... even if you're not with me."

 

Axel gave a sad look at Demyx. "I promise I won't do it again." He said and wrapped his arms around Demyx. "Only if you never hurt me."

 

Lexaeus nodded. "Where would you want to teach it?" He patted his six-pack in contemplation. "The kitchen? I have not had breakfast yet. Unless you have a more conducive environment in mind."

((You could always say something like "Luxord set out a deck and began explaining". XD))

Luxord would nod to the first phrase Lexaeus had said. "Kitchen's fine. I'm gettin' a bit hungry as it is anyway." He'd put his hand in his pocket to make sure that there was a deck in his cards before making a portal and entered, landing in the kitchen. He was too lazy to take the extra walk to the kitchen, even if it wasn't too far away.
