Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

OOC: Sorry that I haven't been posting. I'm going to try to "jump in", so if I do something wrong, please let me know.

Roxas entered the room and rushed over to Marluxia. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARLUXIA!" Roxas said enthusiastically. "Uh, well, I was working on your present, but it's not completely done yet, so is it okay if I give it to you a little later?"

He noticed Axel staring at him and gave him a polite smile. "Hey Axel. How are you?"

 

Axel also smiled. "Fine I geuss, where have you been?" He said trying to hide his arm with the towel around it.

 

"Well, I've been trying to get everything ready, but I've been busy," replied Roxas. He noticed Axel hiding something behind his back. "Hey, what's that?" he asked, pointing to Axel's arm.

 

"He tried to cut his arm off... what an idiot if you ask me." Marluxia interrupted. "I told him to stop and get medical attention, but says he needed to see you. If Xemnas was here, I'd report him since it's my duty, but I wont."

 

"Oh umm... i just cut myself this afternoon." Axel said with a sad smile and tryed to change the subject. "Umm... just so you know, me and Demyx aren't together anymore."

 

Roxas was shocked at Marluxia's response. "Axel?! Why? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!" was his reply. Roxas demanded an explaination for his outrageous behavior, crossed his arms and tapped his foot in perfect rhythm.

 

Marluxia sighed and pulled up a chair from the table. He sat down, crossed his legs and ate a donut that was on the table. "You should hit him with your Keyblade, Roxas. Maybe that'll make him go sane again."

 

"I didn't try to cut my arm off!" Axel glared at Marluxia, for ruining him. He also sat down and made a hand motion for Roxas to do the same. He had a bit of explaining to do. "Well you see, since I found the picture I had second thoughts about our relationship, so I felt like me and Demyx shouldn't be together. I told him that I didnt want to hurt him, I'd rather be hurt myself, so I cut myself with a razor blade. I feel like a horrible person." He said sighing and a single tear from his eye.

 

Roxas listened quietly to Axel's reasoning. When his story was done, Roxas looked at the red-head in confusion. "Wait...but I told you that photo was old...and I moved on and -," he stopped and wiped the tear from Axel's eye. He felt bad that Axel was upset, but he didn't want to make things worse.

 

Axel smiled at Roxas. "Old or new thats how you felt right?" He said with sad eyes. "And now you say it was never true...."

 

"Axel...." Roxas tried to say, with a dry mouth. "This is hard, but I...I found someone else." He saw Axel's expression on his face and tried to reason. "You see, you were with Demyx, so I tried to move on...and now, I have."

 

Axel looked down at the ground in tears. "So that was all for nothing!" He yelled. "Trying to kill myself, never being with Demyx again, THAT WAS FOR NOTHING!" He felt as if he had no point anymore, he didn't know how he would he could stay like this. "Who is this other person then?" He said quietly.

 

Roxas put his hand on Axel's back, rubbing it gently. "Axel, listen to me. I had no idea you and Demyx were ever going to part. I tried to tell you in the Chocolate Shop, but you wouldn't listen." He tried to explain everything. "And in my defense, I never said you had to 'try to kill yourself'. That was all your idea."

 

"Well yes but...." Axel sighed. "Right now killing myself sounds like a good idea... Though I don't get how you can't see how much I love you, but its only a one sided relationship. I never knew that would happen."

 

"Please!" Marluxia interrupted again. "You don't love neither Demyx OR Roxas." He swallowed the donut in his mouth and continued. "You don't love them. You're forcing them to love you. Can't you see? Killing yourself over love won't make them love you back. You're not in love. You just want to be loved by other people. Isn't that right?"

 

"Your right... no one cares for me." Axel sighed again. "Yes I was right just another nobody."

 

Marluxia got up from his chair to confront Axel. "Now you're just being plain stupid! You don't know who loves you or who doesn't! That's just not right! You never know who's loving you or not... you're such an... an idiot!" Marluxia was mad. To him, Axel was just too immature. He hated the fact that he didn't know what true love was.

 

Axel looked up at Marluxia. "You are the same thing! You love Zexion but he doesnt, and now your with Vexen! " He stared into his eyes. "Anyway how am I sapposed to know who loves me or not!"

 

Marluxia was speechless. There was silnce in the room. "What am I suppose to say?" he tought to himself. "If you were in love, you would have showed it. You can't kill yourself. That's a threat. Sure, they don't love you, but why die now? You might meet your soulmate later in life. And my love life is mine alone. At least, I don't go around the castle threatening to kill myself because the person I loved said 'NO'." Marluxia sat back down and looked away from Axel's face.

 

"Forget it." Axel said getting out of his chair. "If anyone needs me I'll be in my room..." He sighed and silently walked up stairs to his room. When he was inside he shut the door and layed on his bed. He held his old Roxas plushie, the one that was torn by Marluxia, and started to sob.
