Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

Axel put his arm around demyx. "Goodnight" He said and closed his eyes.

Axel opened his eyes seeing Demyx. "Goodmorning blue-eyes" He said sweetly and smiled.

 

Lexaeus decided that the search was going nowhere and went back to his room. There, he procured a piece of paper, a pen and some Blu-Tack. Writing a message on it, he proceeded to teleport to Vexen's door and stick the paper to the door.

The message read:

"Vexen,

I need your help with a bit of research. I need to figure out which worlds have cows with the strongest hearts, but the library was no use. I think you should be able to provide me with an answer.

Thanks, Lexaeus"

Once that was done, he went back to his room and got into a sleeping outfit. It was slumbertime, as odd as the hour was. Vexen would surely need time to discover the question to the query, would he not?

Vexen had enjoyed her morning outdoors, but she needed to get back to her studies; she still had not fixed her machine, though she was seriously doubting that she would ever change back into a man. She found herself attatched to this new body and being; being a woman allowed her to be more perceptive to other people and their feelings so that she was not so locked up inside herself.

She portalled to her room to grab some last minute things before heading to her lab and on her wall she found a note. She read it.

Hmmm, this seems simlpe. She walked into her room, gathered her supplies, and made for her lab. Once she arrived, she set her things down and examined her personal library. After a few moments, she pulled out a book on the Disney Castle. The cows here and in the Timeless River were perfect for Lexaeus's needs.

She silently portalled to the man's room and opened the door, finding a sleeping Lexaeus.

"Hey, you, wake up!" She said softly, sitting next to the man and lightly shaking him.

 

"Uh, uh, what?" Lexaeus uttered as he shot up, well awake, instinctively summoning his tomahawk. Once he saw that it was Vexen... Well, a woman with a striking resemblance to Vexen, at any rate.

"Who are you and why do you look and sound so much like Vexen?"

Yes, Lexaeus was not quite the most perceptive of men.

 

"Morning, Axel." Demyx said with a yawn. He smiled at his lover and slowly got out of the bed. "I'm....not a morning person."

He made his way begrudgingly to the bathroom.

 

Vexen chuckled. She had forgotten that many of the members has not seen the new her.

"I sound and look so much like Vexen because I am Vexen." She paused, enjoying the confused look on Lexaeus's face. "Don't fret, it's a long story."

She pulled out the book on the Disney Castle and handed it to Lexaeus, who hesitantly took it, still confused about Vexen's gender change.

Vexen stood up. "I received your letter and went straight to work. This world seems to me to be the best one for the type of cow you are searching for, although I'm not sure why you need such cows." She stopped and looked at Lexaeus. "Are you planning to turn them into heartless? For milk?" The still slightly puzzled man nodded his head, now believing more and more that the woman before him really was Vexen, what with her display of knowledge.

"Well, then, I suppose that is all you wanted. If you find yourself needing me again, let me know." She was about to pat the man but he moved away, not yet ready to accept her as she was. She chuckled, just as she opened a portal and made her way to her lab.

 

"Heh.. who isn't?" Axel said as Demyx closed the bathroom door. He sighed and looked around the room. 'I wonder... will this make Roxas jealious...' He thought to himself waiting for Demyx.

 

Marluxia got up in the morning. His head hurted so bad. He knew something was very strange about this particular day. He got in the shower and tried to wash away his worries. "I know I'm forgetting something... but what...?" He scrubbed the pantine formula on his head, rinsed and repeat. The bathroom was full of steam when he got out. He dried himself off and wrapped a towel on his head. "Something important..." He grabbed a toothbrush and looked at himself at the mirror. "Something I'm suppose to know..." He spat the toothpaste out of his mouth and headed to his room. He changed into his coat, squeezed into his very tight leather pants, and removed the towel from his head. "I feel like an idiot for forgetting... but what is it?" He put his boots on and tied them. He made way to his drawer and looked up, eyeing a calendar with a cute white fluffy kitten. It read OCTOBER. "Oh, I forgot to change the month...." As he flipped the calendar, he spotted a HUGE red circle around the 1st. November 1st, Marluxia's birthday. "Today's... my birthday...?"

Demyx came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his head. He yawned again and looked at Roxas' calender. "Ahh...new month, Axel." He changed the calender to November. "What the-...oh no! I forgot Marly's birthday! We haven't gotten him a present!"

 

Roxas did his daily stretches before showering and getting dressed. He saw Demyx change his calendar. And even though he didn't really appreciate someone else messing with his things, he didn't care too much anymore. He also overheard him talking to Axel and that it was Marluxia's birthday.

Oh no...I completely forgot. Before another minute passed, Roxas grabbed his wallet, stuck it in his robes and opened a portal to some shops. He wasn't going to forget about Marluxia's birthday this time.

 

Axel jumped out of the bed. "Oh my... It is!" He wiped off his trench coat and ran into the bathroom to put a quick layer of eyeliner. He slamed the door shut and looked around. 'wow... how much hair gell does Roxas use?' He thought seeing a ton of tubesof hair gell and moose,most of them empty, around the room. A devious smile flickered on his face as he decided to take a look around. Axel looked everywhere until he saw a small blue trash bin sitting on the floor. He sat down digging through the old tissues and razors. Axel gasped and started to tear up as he found an old photo of him and Roxas in Hallow Bastion on a bench. In red ink it said,"Me and Axel... It was that time we wanted to buy Saix a 'surprise'.... I wish he and Demyx weren't together..." The corner was ripped up off but it looked like there used to be a heart. Axel stuffed it in his pocket wiped his eyes. He did his makeup and opened the bathroom door seeing Demyx still looking at the Calender. "Shall we go get him a gift?'' He said as he changed his mood totally.

 

Marluxia just stared that the calendar. November 1st was the day he opened his eyes and met Xemnas, and was given the name Marluxia. "I remember..."

That day was the day it didnt stop raining. He was very young, possibly 5 years old when he became nobody. His hair was short, and he hugged a bouquet that he found in the trash. Possibly thrown away by an upset female. It smelled nice, and was the only think he loved at the time. He was in a dark alley and was biten by a dog that attacked the poor youngin. Crying, he looked up to a man with tan skin and silver hair. "Do you remember your true name?"

"My true name... is..."


"Yeah... I can remember it like it was yesterday." He said. "Hopefully, this year my birthday will be a little more enjoyable." He looked back and saw a desk with a vase. The vase had a red rose in it. "Happy Birthday"

 

"Yeah, let's go." Demyx sad in response to Axel and with a flick of his wrist, he opened a portal to Hollow Bastion. "What do you think we should get him?" He asked as they both made their way through.

 

"Hmmm... I dunno..."He said while entering the market place of the large world. "Well for starters... we can get him some flowers... then... umm... A zexion plushie?" Axel looked around and saw the exact bench that was in the photo graph. He stared into space thinking about Roxas.

 

Demyx laughed at the thought of a Zexion plushie for Marluxia. "Haha, yeah. Just like your-..." He paused and then continued a bit quieter, "...Roxas plushie." He contorted his face in discomfort at the awkward situation he thought he'd put Axel and himself in. But then he noticed Axel was staring into space, not even paying attention. He inwardly sighed in relief. "So uh...I think I see a flower shop over there." He said while tapping Axel's shoulder and pointing off to the right somewhere.

 

"Huh? Oh yeah flowers, right..." Axel sighed and turned around. "C'mon let's go!" He yelled running to the door. He opened it and held the door open for Demyx.

 

Demyx smiled and walked through. Inside there was an abundance of roses, tulips, daffodils, marisols, lillies, sunflowers and just about every other flower you can think of. Demyx pondered what to get. "Umm...something pink.."

 

Roxas put down the daisies. Is that Demyx's voice? He turned around and saw none other than the two, side-by-side. "Hey, you two. What are you guys doing here?"

 

Axel jumped at the sound of Roxas' voice. "R-roxas... what are you doing here?"
He ask and started to move closer to Demyx, afraid if Roxas would tell the sitar player what Axel told him.

 

Roxas gave off a little laugh while explaining that he was only looking for Marluxia's birthday gift. "Don't worry...I don't just go shopping for the heck of it. Now what are you two doing here...in a flower shop...together?"
