Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

"Go as far as you're comfortable with," Xemnas smiled. "I don't mind either way. Actually it's refreshing to have a good, deep conversation with someone. Most times people just run away when they see me. They think I'm going to yell at them all the time. It's not my fault they continuously do stupid things. Doesn't mean I don't care."

"Ah," he continued, "but now I'm prattling on in the middle of your story. Forgive me. But may I say, I don't think I've seen you happier?"

 

Saix smiled, and blushed a little. "Thank you... But, as I was saying..." he started, "she had the most wonderful eyes you've ever seen... They were a dark green color, but seemed to sparkle all of the time."

You could tell by the look in his eyes that he was off in his own little world, now. "She loved the outdoors; she'd always had a tan as long as I could remember her. She was kind... but she never backed down from a challenge. She never wore make-up, but always seemed to look perfect without it... She never wore dresses or went out shopping, either. She thought that anything and everything 'girly' was 'the devil'."

He chuckled. "Her whole face seemed to shine when she smiled... And... The way she laughed... It was like wind chimes on the breeze..." He sighed, dreamily. "Yes.... She was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen... That is, before..." His face seemed to darken a little. The smiled melted off his face. "Before... Before... Pardon me, Xemnas, but may I be excused?!" he asked suddenly, his voice shrill. He stood up so fast that his chair fell backward. He straightened it back up, then stood there, wringing his hands together, looking nervous.

Idiot, idiot, IDIOT!!!! You've gone TOO far this time! he screamed at himself. He started wringing his hands together faster, and taking a few steps backward.

Xigbar looked up. "It's been about an hour now, right?" he asked no one in particular.
"Iunno... Go ask someone...?" Shayna said, dodging the cracks in the ground. "Step on a crack, and you break your mother's back!" She blinked and looked up. "Where's your Mommy, Xigbar?"
Xigbar blinked, still looking up at the sky. "I guess I SHOULD go back to my mommy now..." he murmured.

"MY Mommy is right over there!" Shayna said, pointing to someone. Her mom had her back turned, but it was obvious she was on the phone with someone. She had on an expensive looking suit and her blond hair was tied up in a bun. Xigbar glared at her, kinda mad that she wasn't paying more attention to Shayna.

Shayna examined his eyes. "So does this mean you have to go now...?" she asked.
"Yeah..." Xigbar sighed. He looked back over at her, smiling a little. "Thanks, though."
"Hmmmm...?"
"Talking to you has helped me more than you think."
"OH! Okay! You're welcome!" Shayna said, grinning.

Xigbar smiled sadly at her, then looked around a little. "Listen, Shayna... I don't know if your parents have already told you this or not, but... Uh... Don't talk to strangers."
Shayna blinked, then tilted her head to the side. "Like you, Xiggy...?" she asked.
Xigbar shook his head. "No, not like me... Like... Big people. Old guys. If someone you don't know that's big like that tries to talk to you, run away, okay?"
"What if they say they know Mommy and they want to bring me back to her if I'm lost? Or if they have candy?"
Xigbar shook his head. "Even then. Just run away, okay? Go to someone you know."
"Someone I know..." She tapped her chin. "Like you?"

That suprised Xigbar. He blinked, then smiled. "Yeah... Like me."
"Okay, then! I will!" She hugged Xigbar, then ran off. "See ya later, Xiggy!" she shouted, waving.

Xigbar smiled a little, then shook his head. "Sweet kid..." he muttered to himself. He walked off into a dark alley, glanced around, the portalled back to Castle Oblivion. He looked around until he caught sight of a clock. "Ooh... Almost midnight... Xemnas is gonna KILL me!" Xigbar said, yawning and stretching. He looked around a little. "Where AM I, anyways?" All of the hallways looked the same...

 

Xemnas looked at Saix.

"I don't want you to talk about anything you don't want to talk about," he said, "but I think it would be better for you if you let it out. Vent."

Xemnas sat back in his chair.

"But, if you're not ready, I understand. I suppose I've kept you from your business long enough."

Turning back to look at Saix, he said "But I think talking to someone would do you well, and if you ever need to talk, you know where I am."

 

( OoC: Guys I am soooooo fricken sorry I haven't been posting in like...literally forever x.x Last week was exam week and I still had to do a lot of work to make up some lost credits and blahblah. I sorry guys! ;o; Someone mind informing me on how much I missed? o.O )

((Well, uh, basically, nothing much has happened.... Xigbar had a dream about him beating up Luxord, Saix went up to talk to Xemnas about random crap because he was bored, Luxord shared a touching moment with Axel, then ran into Marly's room, still looking for Xigbar, and while all that was happening, Xigbar's been walking through town with this 6-year-old named Shayna, but he just recently returned... Basically. XD))

Saix blinked and started biting his lip. He wanted to leave - and right then. But it was obvious that Xemnas wanted him to talk. And he'd never disobeyed before.... But, still, that was... His past was one of the most painful.... But, still..... Xemnas....

He stood there for a moment, his emotions and feelings battling it out in his head. Finally, he asked in a quiet voise, "So... Uh... Do you want me to stay...? Or... Go?"

 

"I think I made myself perfectly clear, Saix," said Xemnas in a friendly tone. "I think it would do you well to talk to someone about this, but at the same time I don't want you to reveal anything you're not comfortable revealing. In essence, what I'm saying is that it's completely up to you. I know what I think you should do, but I don't know how you feel. And I'm not going to force you to share something you don't want to share. I'd love to hear about it, but it's not like I'm going to order you to reveal your life story. You'll tell me when you're ready, sooner or later. Hopefully sooner, but its no big deal if it happens to be later."

 

There. He just said it. He doesn't care if you don't tell him. Walk away, Saix... He stood there for a moment, not moving an inch. Finally, he sighed and looked away. "... I'll tell you... One day.... I promise..." He paused, biting his lip. "Goodbye, Xemnas..." With that, he turned and rushed off.

Xigbar looked around a little, puzzled. He still didn't know exactly what way it was to the Usual Spot. That's when he caught sight of blue hair. His face brightened. "Ah! Saix!" he yelled, as he rushed after him.
Saix turned around, looking for the one who called his name. He looked down, and came face to face with... A little child. He narrowed his eyes, then raised an eyebrow. What the heck has Larxene been doing while I was gone...?! he wondered, staring at Xigbar.
Xigbar blinked. It was obvious to him now that Saix didn't recognise him. He fished around in his pockets, then pulled out on of his eyepatches. He quickly tied it over his left eye, cleared his throat, then said, imitating his grown up voice, "Ya clever little sneak!"
Recognition finally dawned on Saix's face. "Oh.... Xigbar!" He nodded toward the stairs that lead to the Usual Spot. "Xemnas is waiting for you..."
Xigbar nodded, grinned and started up the stairs. "Thanks, Saix!"

Saix watched him climb up the stairs for a moment, then walked off again, grinning to himself. Who knew that one like Xigbar could ever be that cute!

 

Xemnas sighed sadly as he watched Saix run off. That poor man, he thought to himself, He doesn't know just how much he needs someone around right now.

Xemnas sat back and let his thoughts run away with him. To his simultanious delight and fear, his thoughts seemed settled on a certain young blonde with a penchant for artistry...

 

"Knock, knock, Xemnas...!" Xigbar sang as he climbed up the last few steps. He smiled a little, then began walking over to where Xemnas was. "... I'm kinda sorry it took so long... To tell ya the truth, I still don't feel completely right yet... But I think that talking to you will change that..." He paused, then smiled a little. "Thanks for the shirt, by the way..."

 

Xemnas looked over to see the little Xigbar staring at him sheepishly.

"The pleasure is all mine, my old friend," he smiled, "Why don't you sit down? I hope you don't mind, but Saix was here earlier and he shared some of our drink. But there's still plenty to go around."

Xemnas handed Xigbar his glass.

"So how are you feeling?"

 

"Ooh! Soda! Thanks!" Xigbar said, taking the glass. He gulped down as much as he could, then sighed happily. He climbed up on the chair beside Xemnas's and said, "How am I feeling...? STARVED!" He laughed a little. "I feel like I haven't eaten in days! Which I might not have..."

He giggled a little and shook his head. "But, to seriously answer your question... I think I feel... Good... I met this girl today. She was about as old as I am now, but she was the sweetest thing ever." He chuckled to himself. "She even asked me if wanted to be her boyfriend. Heh... I don't even thinks she knows what it really means to have a boyfriend."

He smiled a little, but the smile slowly dissolved into a frown. Hmmm.... Something's not right here... It feels... different... he thought. He glanced up, at Xemnas, sighed, then said, quickly, "I'll be right back... 30 seconds - you can time me if ya want." With that, he quickly portalled off to his room.

 

Xemnas chuckled slightly and clicked his stopwatch.

Wait a second, he thought, When did I get a stopwatch?
