~ Organization XIII In WalMart ~

Angel thought carefully on what to do next. Somehow they had to get a doctor's uniform for Vexen....but how? "Vexen, here's what I'm thinking right now......Plan A- We ring for the nurse and then ambush her. and.....you'll have to pretend to be....a nurse....Plan B- We ring for the nurse and hope to dear god that it's a male....or we ring for the nurse and ask for the doctor and then ambush them both....but.....I don't know.....you either be a girl or we do it the hard way..."

 

Kairi wiped away the remaining tears, nodding. "Yeah..." She said. She was glad that he was offering to help her and her siblings, but she couldn't let him take them in. It'd be too much... Her siblings weren't exactly the "quiet" bunch. They liked to run around and were really energetic most of the time. Also, he already had Sora dorming with him. But she also couldn't keep it a secret from the state. They'd find out later, anyways. They always did. Either that or she'd end up confessing, and she'd probably go to jail for ilegal custody. But if they ended up having to go to an orphanage, then she wouldn't let them separate her from her siblings... not ever.

 

"Put on your seatbelt, Kairi" He said giving her a smile. He pulled out of her drive way and waited on the streets. "So where is this Daycare?"
He looked at her with a curious face. She was suddenly quiet, and was apparently in deep thought. Perhaps it was a bit too risky to leave her alone in a huge house like this. Sooner or later the neighbors might notice something fishy. Too dangerous. He thought about an alternate idea. He'd of course have had loved to take them in with him, but the society might not see it in a good way either. Again, a dead end. Someone had to stay with them as their legal guardian... but, who... who... Then suddenly an idea popped into his mind. Damn... if he only had his cell phone.
"You know what..." He began with a smile. "Do you have your cell Kairi?"

 

"Oh... Right..." Kairi said, snapping back into reality. SHe had sort of drifted off into thought. Silently, she put on her seatbelt as Riku started driving. "It's that way..." She said and pointed straight ahead of them. "Over by the elementary school..." She remained silent for awhile, not really in the mood to say anything at the moment. This was really starting to upset her. Now that her mom was gone, she'd have to try her best to be as responsible as she could. Once she was 18, she could take in her siblings as a legal adult. However, that wasn't for about another year or so. She looked over at Riku. "Um... Yeah..." She replied and pulled it out. "Did you need to call somebody?" She asked.

 

OOC: :sweatdrop: I fail at life... I can't seem to log out like I said I would (HW still lingers in front of my face!). =O If I ever end up doing drugs or get into smoking... I'm gonna go though HELL quitting. xD Hell... I'm loggin out right now, as soon as I post this. D<

Taking the cell from Kairi, he continued to drive. He had a pretty good idea of who to call, and he knew that she wouldn't let him down. Until Kairi was of age, she would be the perfect guardian for her and her siblings."Yes, yes there is someone I need to call."
He gave a quick glance and a smile before taking a left turn, heading towards the neighborhood's elementary school. They pretty much drove in silence for the entire trip, and came in front of a now deserted school. The lights were still on and it reflected on the wet concrete illumination the area more than it needed to be. With the foggy and heavy rain mixing with this bright illumination made it damn right impossible to see.
"Do your siblings (bro and sis right) always stay here this late?" He asked. "Oh, whatever, go on and get them, Kairi, whilst I make my call."

Kairi handed him the phone, wondering who it was that he needed to call. But she justshrugged and looked around. Once they had pulled up to the daycare, the rain had already turned into a slight drizzle. "Well, not usually..." She said. "My mom just didn't come and pick them up today." She nodded to him and opened the door. "I'll be right back..." She said and got out, closing the door behind her as she ran up to the entrance of the building. Hell, she was probably gonna be charged alot for them keeping her siblings overtime.

"So, a Mr. Agent Man? Kind of fits, and you're slim and lithe, so that could work to your advantage. I really don't know what I want to be, though. In fact, I never thought I really had a future...considering what I am. We're not even meant to exist, rejected by light and dark, and...I'm surprised you have goals. Could we even have a future? We're just the remains of our whole selves, really," Larxene said outloud, mostly to herself as she took few sips from her soda, though it was a bit watery by then, and she put it back, her lipd curling distastefully a little. It took her into deep contemplation, and she truly did want to know what was ahead of her for awhile, before she just shook her head, and dismissed it. Why should she care, really? She accepted her fate long ago. They weren't meant to have lives, or be breathing...they just...were.

 

Argh.......where's ICSP........oh wait......he must busy with the Court thread.....argh......

 

Axel couldnt deny Larxene's statement,and without even thinking of comforting her he spoke his mind."..Your right,we werent supposed to exist..but like some say: be thankful for what you posess...we exist,even though we were enver meant to..and im thankful Im here..because if I wasnt,I wouldnt have met Roxas...or you''he finished silently,hating how corny and romantic he sounded.He wasnt exactly good at romancing mentally,but he could definately do it physically.

 

Watching Kairi leave his car and disappearing in the fog as she walked towards the daycare, he flipped open the cell phone and began dialing a number. Putting the phone to his ear, he waited, his fingers lightly tapping the steering wheel. While waiting for an answer from the other side of the line, his mind began to drift. He was dreadfully worried about the situation Kairi had so abruptly fallen in. The way her mother suddenly left her kids behind made him a little uneasy. Why would she have gone and done that? There had to something else to the story. He knew Kairi's mother all too well, and she was not the type of woman to spontaneously leave her children behind like this. Kairi was indeed in trouble. Being underage, and now a single parent as well. Things will get tough... unless of course he could find the proper help, and he was sure he was about to find it as soon as the call would be answered. After a couple of rings, the other side did finally answer.
“Mom?†He answered enthusiastically. He didn't waste much time in quickly explaining what had been happening for the past hour or so. Kairi, Sora and his families has been close like family ever since he could remember, and in times like this, they were always willing to help out the other. Explaining the guardian issue and the lack of space in his apartment, he asked if his mother was willing to come and stay over at Kairi's place until the situation was handles. He also figured that Kairi needed a mother figure besides just him being there to support her. He being the only child, his mother, of course, had no problem in coming over as soon as possible. It was decided that he'd would spend the night at her place if necessary until she should arrive in the morning. Sealing the deal with his mother, he hung up the phone, satisfied. Resting his cheek in his hand, he leaned against the steering wheel, waiting for Kairi to come back with her baby bother and sister.
He did wonder though, through it all, albeit he shouldn't have, at least not now, about the date he had planned with her. Guess it was off then.

 

A short while after Kairi had gone in, she came back out through the glass door, carrying a smal boy and a small girl in her arms. She looked down at both of them, smiling sadly. Thank goodness they were asleep, for now. She wasn't ready to tell them what had happened yet. If she got lucky, she wouldn't have to let them know until the next morning, which was good. Hopefully, they wouldn't be too upset, but she doubted it.

She walked back up to the car with them both in her arms, and she motioned for Riku to be quiet, so that he'd know they were sleeping. "Did you make your call, yet...?" Kairi whispered as she gently placed them in the back seat of his car, putting a seatbelt around each of them for protection.

 

“Done and taken care of.†He replied softly, smiling at her. He was amazed how she had pulled herself together so fast after such a tragic event. This was one of the qualities he loved about her. No matter how hard the situation was, she always knew how to act with reason and care. He watched her as she affectionately tucked the two in the back seat, putting on their seatbelts. She was an exceptional young woman, he thought. If only all the families had a daughter like her...

He waited for her to get in.

 

Kairi closed the back door and then got back into the passenger seat. She put on her seatbelt as well. "That's good..." She said. She looked over towards the window. So much had happened in such a short amount of time... She was pretty scared, to say the truth. She'd never parented before, and she'd never even been a babysitter, so she knew nothing about taking care of children. After a moment of silence. "Riku...?" She asked. "Do you think I could pull it off? I mean, not telling anyone that I'm parenting them?" She looked at the back seat where her siblings were and smiled sadly. She made sure to whisper so as not to wake them. "I don't like to hide things, but I'd rather we just stay together as a family..." She was worried about being separated from them.

 

“I don't think it will be a problem now, Kairi.” He replied, as he started his car. “You're a gentle and caring person... not to mention hard working too. If you put your heart into it, you can do anything.” He paused after saying that, driving out of the parking lot of the daycare, he zoomed down the empty and deserted street. Once reaching a stoplight, he handed her cell phone back to her, then taking the moment to explain what will happen now and take place in the next couple of days, or perhaps until Kairi herself was able to take the matter into her own hands. He told her that he'd called his mother and she'd be coming to stay with her as her guardian, so she had nothing to worry about. She'll not be separated from her siblings, nor does she have to lie about acting as a parent to her siblings at such a young age. “Is that okey with you? And don't you dare deny this help. I did it for you sake... as well as mine.”
He drove down the streets, eventually turning at the corner which would soon lead to her house.
“As for tonight, Kairi, mother wishes for me to stay at your place for the night... er... just to make sure everything will be okey until she arrives in the morning.”

 

Kairi looked over at him and smiled. However, she was kind of surprised that he'd called his mom to see if she would take care of her, but she was glad all the same. Now she wouldn't have to worry about her being separated from her siblings. "Thanks, Riku..." She said, glad to have a great friend like him. "But my brother and sister can be a bit... moody... in the mornings..." She said. "In that case, I'll just apologize for their behavior ahead of time..." She rubbed the back of her head and laughed.

 

"Don't sweat it." They'd already reached Kairi's house. The dark streets were only illuminted by the street lights, which really didn't help with the visibility through all the fog. Nontheless, he pulled up to her diveway safely and turned off the engin.
"Need help taking them in?" He asked pointing at the two sleeping kids in the back.

 

Kairi smiled. "Yeah..." She said and got out of the car. "I'll take Nami inside, since she wakes up easier..." She said and opened the back door, gently picking up the sleeping girl. She wondered if Riku was really up for it, though... Spending a whole night with them. They were quite a handful... And that was one reason why she didn't like him or Sora coming over to her house. She didn't want Nami or Akito to bother them. Carrying Nami, she walked up to the front door of her house, making sure to have closed the door to Riku's car, first. Then, she pulled a key out of her pocket and unlocked the door.

 

"Ok, then."
Taking off his seatbelt, he too stepped out of the car. It was drizzling lightly, and the wind was starting to pick up, chilling the weather. Closing his door shut, he reached in and opened the back door and gently picked up Akito in his arms, carefully resting his sleeping head on his shoulder. Supporting the weight of the boy with one arm, he closed the door with the other and locked his car. Following Kairi, he headed for the front door to her house, waiting for her to open it.

 

My looked at her messages andf got off looking around boredly.

Tifa checking everything.

 

Xaldin went outside after his comment to Xemnas. He looked up at the moon. It was barely visible because a thick fog came in, but he didn't mind. Looking at the moon was Saix's thing anyway. He walked around aimlessly. "I can't see anything. This fog's strong enough to block the wind. And it's really warm in here." he thought. He then walked to an old shack door. "What the...where am I?" he muttered. He went inside. Their was a neon blue stairway. Unkowingly, his appearance became like Seifer's when Seifer entered the network, that same neon blue color with a unique stripe patten. Near the bottom of the stairs was Seifer and the MCP. He looked at the lance in Seifer's hand, and immediately recognized it. When Xaldin entered the room, a wall fell down and blocked the stairway. Outside, the fog cleared. The old shack door fell apart.

Seifer looked at Xaldin, who just got here. He looked at him curiously.
