okay so first you go to the place you want to make the thread, let's say the spamzone

Forum » Fun and Games » SpamZone

Now don't click any of the threads, instead look near the top, there is a button called 'thread tools' click that and from the drop down menu there is something like 'start new thread' click that then the rest is simple.

Just PM any mod, their all pretty nice and will be kind.

Just PM them and say

"Please move this thread for me."
then put a link to the thing and tell theme where it should be

you can't move it yourself, only mods or admins can move things.

*facedesk* come on, just PM anybody who's a mod, it doesn't mater if you have talked to them before or not. You don't have to know them personally for them to do something like moving a thread for you. :/
