marluxia handed a euro note over to the waiter and took namine's hand to help her up. "to the beach?"

 

she nodded

 

he held the door out for namine, slowly strolling beside her as they walked along the stretch of golden sand.

"it is..." marluxia sighed, looking up at the full moon. "..are you hurt by what axel did?.." marluxia soon realised that was a stupid question..

 

"im not actually sure....im...more sad..."she said"I dont know why...maybe because....he said he loves me and i dont love him that way...and for roxas...think how he would react if he knew all of this..."

 

"he doesn't love you..." marluxia whispered. "he..well...he kinda does but doesn't if you know what I mean."

 

"i think i get what your saying..."she said

 

"I had to tell you, namine. I couldn't bear to..." marluxia trailed into silence.

 

"I know...im glad you did tell me.."

 

axel finished his drink, standing up and walking out of the hotel, onto the street.

marluxia looked up into the sky. "that's what friends are for, right?"

 

"yeah."she nodded

 

"would you like to go back to the hotel? you look tired..."

 

"yeah...if you dont mind....i am a little tired..."

 

"a little?" marluxia smirked.

 

"alright....im alot."she said smiling

 

marluxia looked down the beach. "it's quite a walk... for a pregnant lady.." he mumbled. he then scooped namine up in his arms and began walking.

 

"does everyone like picking me up and carrying me?"she laughed

 

"I do..." marluxia smiled. "because.. a, I'm helping and b, your hair smells pretty."
