    I found the series barely decent the first season and very boring come the second season. Hated Kirito, found Asuna to be too perfect (and thus kinda bland), found a lot of interesting characters to be thrown away (like the incest subplot being resolved in under 10 minutes, or the Pink hair blacksmith chick being relevant for one episode,) and was just uninterested in the ending.

    I'm not saying you shouldn't enjoy it. Just from what I've seen you like, it surprised me with this series.

    At first it was the MMO aspect that caught my interest. Then it was the cool swords. Then it was the story that kinda developed. Then it was the actual feels I was having. idk man, but they got a tear out of me on the last episode.
