One of the things I dislike...

...are hypocrites.

It's a long story that involves a forum of mine and some of the members.

I had a forum devoted to Zoids rp, was supposed to a nice place where the only battling would be IC(In Character) battles against the Zoid teams. But these two members started a war with the admin, being me.

These two members did all they could to piss me off. Arguments in the Cbox(it's an add on where people can chat on a ProBoards forum), posting flaming posts in Intel. Discussion of the Admin not doing anything for the site, and just constantly harassing me.

I was told indirectly that I should: 'Get off my fat *** and do something'

I realize it is the internet but you do not treat people this way. It is only common sense that since the Admin put all this work into a site that you should be able to recognize that such a site is not your personal playpen to do as you please. You respect the rules set if you want to participate. That's the sacrifice you make if you want to be on that forum is that you respect the rules put into place.

But why didn't I just ban these members and be done with it?

It got to the point of some of the members leaving. And by that point the atmosphere of the forum had changed. I just wanted to be rid of it so I deleted it.

So he creates his own Zoid forum. Not only does he advertise on one of my other forums but one of the Rules of his forum is as follows.

In other words, he wants respect where he didn't bother giving it to me on my own forum. All this person and his friend were doing was damaging my forum's integrity.

It just ticks me off that people could be so...pompously hypocritical to be able to do something like this.

Thank you for reading this rant. I needed to get off some steam.

What a bunch of ****** bags, though.

 

People who make decisions, and act in opposition to them at some point (while they are still under the same verdict as before).

In other words, if you say you hate all religions, and then go and worship God at a church (as a group), in a way you would be seen as a hypocrite.... no wait, every way. lol
