My mum was watching TV and she randomly yelled "I want Super Mario Galaxy!" and I said "what?" and she repeated herself so I said "okay, then buy the wii for us." and she said "fine lemme watch smallville though"

 

I wish my mother were that cool.

On the other hand, my limited budget has caused me to be picky. Galaxy looks fantastic, but I've never really got into the Mario games (besides their sport spin-off titles).

 

I got my Wii randomly during the summer before I went on vacation. I got mad muscle I played it so much.

lol this relates to how i got my ps2, we were watching something and my dad was like, "awwh cool! grand theft auto on ps2!" and i was like, "we don't have a ps2.." "well, xmas is cuming up..." so for xmas i got a ps2, and we still dont have grand theft auto XD

 

My parents were never enthusiastic for videogames - or mom was a while when Need for Speed - Hot Pursuit for the original PS was in the house.. I'm the only game freak in my family. :3
