Okay, this will NOT be that thing that I start and then give up on halfway through.

It depends, I think Windows 7 is a 35GB minimum (though you'll need more than that for installed programs etc), so multiply that by two and you're at 70GB. Ubuntu is much lighter, I was running an installation of it on I think 10 or 15GB. So you'll probably be fine with 128GB, but if you have the money & find one for a good price it couldn't hurt to spring for 256GB--especially if you're planning to get a capture card! Your recordings will run much better if you put the source file on the SSD, then later move it over to your data drive.
Ah, okay. Well like I said Logitech makes some really nice ones, but they were a bit too pricey for me so I got the HP for $35 on eBay. Keyboards are something I really recommend looking in the store for, even if you order online later (though a lot of stores will price match for you, I know Best Buy does) so much of it is dependent on how it feels to you.
I really don't have any experience in case mods unforts. ;c But if you want it built in, why not go for the Pro?

But they do all look lovely, if I wasn't poor/had more important things to buy I'd definitely sell my old (unused) capture card for a Blackmagic.
I really just wanted an HD webcam for a cheap price, I really really recommend either Logitech or Microsoft if you're shopping there, but Microsoft's can vary in quality. Logitech's are quite reasonable, stylish, and work well, imo (can you tell I like Logitech?). Mine was only $35.

The last time I installed the Windows 8 Beta (which is why I want enough for two Windows OS's), it was about 12 GB, so your first suggestion should be fine. As for the capture card, I actually only want it so I can play my games on the computer's beautiful screen instead of my TV. I might make recordings sometimes, but right now it's just for that first reason.

I actually have an Adesso picked out for $42.99 and it suits my needs perfectly. So...yah.

The pro doesn't seem to have any of the jacks that I need, but the Shuttle does. They cost the same anyway, so I figure the Shuttle is the better choice.

Yeah, the webcam isn't as important as everything else, so I'll burn that bridge later. I like your suggestions, though.

Just checked the Microsoft website and it said 20GB (for 64-bit but you're a fool if you don't go 64-bit for a new build).
Okie doke, $42 is good for a keyboard too.
The Pro, because it doesn't have as much space, uses a breakout cable. But yeah, I think I would go Shuttle too just because I would like having it external.

Oooh, I see. I think I'll still go with the Shuttle for simplicity's sake, though. That said, the only huge things I have to pick now are my motherboard and CPU. After that, I'll be ready to start picking other stuff.

I still don't understand why you would need two Window OS....just get rid of 7 or actually just wait til october when windows 8 comes out to get that OS and not have any windows 7 installed at all.

Well Windows 8 is... weird, I think he tried it & liked it but I don't think all programs will work with it off the bat?

I think it's something everyone should wait on, to see how developers respond to it.
