But the possibility that I may possess Haruhi's power has revealed itself. Yesterday morning I had a dream involving the girl whose company I enjoy and I going to her Homecoming dance at the school I attended last year. Last night, she asked me to go with her. Now some people may think this was a prophetic dream, but I don't believe in that sort of thing. My theory? I think that at some level, I wanted this to happen. That desire manifested itself in that dream. Because, for whatever reason, it was still fresh in my mind, that desire came true.

I promise I won't use my power for evil.
