I get these random noises coming from my laptop, like a door shutting, and it opening. I don't have a scooby what's causing it!

    Anyone any idea's?

Do you mean physically making noises? Or from your stereos?

Okay, is anyone else logged on to your computer? I had door opening and closing noises once when my brother forgot to close AIM when he switched user.

I do have it installed, but i'm a noob when it comes to that, as Orange already know's.

It does? I've been using it for ages and this is the first time i've heard it.

Well if you have that open and people on your list are logging in and out, that would be the cause.

    xD

You'll have to fiddle around with Preferences to get rid of the sound. I think it's under 'Event Actions.'

You can turn the noises off. Thank the Goddess. Those door opening noises would drive me completely batshit.

Thats why I turned off that annoying 'BELOP' sound On MSN.
    I also turned off Nudges...
    And winks...
And any other annoying device that causes my computer to go stupid or makes annoying noises while I'm trying to, a) Read online or b) listen to music

I'm so glad you can turn 'em off ='D
