Oh High School Musical

what did you ever do for people to hate you so much. I was just talking with a friend of mine, and showed in the two cds in at the library, and one of them is the High School Musical soundtrack, and he just completely left. I find it funny the way people react to it.
But I got the soundtrack because there are some pretty good songs, like Bet On It

 

Am I the only one who expected a "haters gonna hate"?

 

Nope.

I used to love it to death [especially Zac Efron. Oh humble beginnings~] when I was in elementary and middle school.
I watched my Blu-Ray copy of the second movie during the summer and remembered why I knew all the lyrics to every song. Hell, I could still sing along to Bet On It and I Don't Dance after all those years.

Guys are just repulsed by it in general. That's just the way it is.

 

I liked the first two. I watched the premiere of the first very excitedly.

Though I've yet to see the third one.

 

Which is why I said in general instead of stating that all guys hate it.

Don't watch the last one. It was a disgrace.

 

I saw the first two. I didn't get the big deal about them, though. ._.

 

If Vanessa Hudgens didn't get famous from them, nobody would care that she posted nude pictures. I wouldn't hear about said nude pictures and I wouldn't have gotten to enjoy them.

don't watch the last one. In the words of Cat<3 Sora, "It's a disgrace". They did so much wrong with that movie it shouldn't even be in the same name. It makes me think like someone tried to make a High School Musical from Asylum Films. It was bad, and the singing wasn't even memorable.

 

It was the acting. And the singing. And the flexing. And the script. And the fact that my little sister loved it and watched it a bunch of times and got the Wii HSM Sing It game. And bought a HSM cheerleader costume complete with pom-poms. And had us all go to a Corbin Bleu concert. Other then all that, it's not that bad of a movie.

And I used to be able to sing Bet On It word for word when I listened to it enough, but I don't think I could do that anymore

 

I have the deluxe edition soundtrack to the first movie. I was obsessed...

Holding it in my hands again, i'm reminded of a simpler time. And yet, that time was horrible for me. It was living hell and I hated it. Maybe that's why I resented HSM for so many years after sixth grade (all the girls thought Zac Efron was stupid while I adored him like a god).

Zac Efron is in a movie with Ashton Kutcher.
That's a lot of pretty boy in one movie.

 

Yeah, she did the same thing with the Tinker Bell movies. I can still quote parts of the third one.

"Father, Father, Father, Father, Father!" *poke. poke. poke. poke. poke.*

 

I was lucky enough to not be around the group of people that went gaga over Zac Efron. Actually, I was one of the few people that liked the movies, but I only liked them for the music for the most part. The story was fine, but they should have ended after the 2nd movie....or at least do a years worth of work more on the 3rd

 

Meh, Kutcher isn't really my type.

I am however looking forward to Jack Barnes, Troy Bolton and the girl from Sex and the City.
That'll be a hell of a comedy lineup~
