25 is the upper limit per season

If it goes over 51 episodes total it can never be good

I will however concede the second although it is not quite as good

It can be the exception that proves the rule

 

there's bleach as well. That's been good and it's got 200+ episodes going. And sometimes shows with 12 episodes tend to speed up the pace and confuse people when they get to the final episodes.
