Kayla cartwheeled over to a nearby table and found a sheet of paper. Then she found a pencil and sat down at the table. She started to write.

Exel looked over Kayla's shoulder. What are you writing? He asked her.

 

OOC: I"m talking about...well.....Let's say if I wanted to use an original attack and not one from the game....


BIC: "290G, eh? Not bad for a start." Venture said as he gathered the blaze, frost and thunder gems, along with two mythril shards. He proceeded to throw them in the water and mix them together.

 

OOC: Hey, I'm heading out...Gotta do homework and such. See you guys tomorrow.

Kayla looked up at Exel and grinned. "I'm writing our article..." she said and smiled. "We got a bit of information... and he wrote it out... and sure it already looks like it's ready to be an article... but I thought I'd see what I can do with it..." She looked up at him, smiling.

He gave a smile back to her. well go ahead. I gotta get ready. He said and began walking toward his apartment.

 

OOC: Sorry I'm on a little late today ^^; Whats been happening? =O (Is too lazy to read)

 

OOC: Well, Tera taught Venture how to synthesis materials into items and they joined monster hunt job except for me.

 

Kayla got bored of writing and jumped up, walking over to the wall. She took a deep breath. "Okay... I've been practicing... I can do this..." she muttered to herself and clasped her hands together, making a handsign. She seemed to be just standing there, but she was actually building up chakra on the bottom of her feet. Her eyes were closed. A few moments later, she opened her eyes again. "Okay..." she muttered to herself and suddenly started to run towards the wall. She put her right foot on the wall first and went from there. Left right left right... She was trying to climb the wall and get as high as she could.

After almost getting to the ceiling, she lost focus and slipped, letting out a small yell as she fell to the ground. "Ow..." she said and rubbed the back of her neck, standing up. Dang... I really thought I could do it... I guess I'm not ready yet... she thought.

Exel came out of his apartment with some stuff in his hands and left the city for his job.

 

OOC: Thursday, we bussin' out of this joint... Forging Weapons is a lot like Synthesizing Items, just so every one knows. Tomorrow will be the Monster Hunt 1 and 2, and then Thursday, we'll have our "story day" and leave Genesis for the REAL beginning of the RP (this was just the prelude to show everybody the works.)

So, we've learned how to do:

Forging Weapons

And we need to learn to do:

Fighting
Distributing Newspapers

Hum...well, you don't have to join in the Monster Hunt, FYI, but make sure you read it so you know how to fight. Thanks! For those who don't, I'll ask that you distribute newspapers. It's really quite simple, and I'll show you tomorrow.

BIC: Tera Roth walked to the Items Shop and produced his Potion. "How much will this sell for?"

"It's new? 10G."

Tera Roth nodded. "Sounds reasonable."

OOC: (For all those who participated in Writing, you can add 1 point to your Writing Level. For all those who participated in Synthesis, add 1 to that score too. FYI, I'm keeping the gil collective, so if we get new members or have an odd amount that I can't divide by, it won't get confusing. So everybody should have 310G collective.. Thanks!)

Xegreny added his name to the Monster Hunt list. The departure date was set for tomarrow, so he would have to wait. Walking outside, he sat down on a bench. Soon, a familiar face was in the crowd.

"Hey! How come you didnt come to the office today?" Said a tall, skinny looking man. "I had some interesting tests planned."

Cursing silently, Xegreny muttered, "Im not your lab rat, stupid doctor."

Rage bloomed on the man's face. "You must consent to these tests! You could be in danger! Yo-" The man started, but was cut off as Xegreny pushed him out of the way.

In a huff, Xegreny decided to do some forging for fun. He needed a weapon anyway. A few minutes and a huge amount of frustration later, Xegreny had completed a weapon for himself. They were just simple gloves, with metal bracers on them.

Exel came back a few hours later and had recieved some munny from his job.

 

Kayla stood back up and brushed herself off, rubbing the back of her neck. I know I can do this... she thought but then sighed, letting her arms dangle by her sides. What am I thinking? There's no way I'm going to be able to do this! I'll only end up hurting myself... she closed her eyes and turned away from the wall, shaking her head. She must've gone insane or something. That wall was at least 20 feet tal... how in the world did she expect to climb something that high without even a rope. Wincing, she put a hand to the back of her neck again. I better save my strength for the monster hunt... she thought.

Venture sold his newly aquired mega-ether to a street vender. Slightly. pleased with the result he started to prepare for the monster hunt.

 

Tera Roth sighed. "We still need 600G to buy a gummi ship..." he muttered to himself.

"All right, well, time for the monster hunt! Everybody who's participating: Come on!"
