Obliteration and Broken Hearts

Natalie felt the clan member force down to the ground and she rolled over to the side. Everything was fuzzy for her, and she felt like she wanted to sleep again. She cried slightly and closed her eyes again.

 

Cid ran after them.

 

uh oh lol.... sorry i just feel lonely... and im still angry... but more lonely

Alena heard a voice nearby, she wasn't good at helping with wounds but if he was on their side, maybe he would help. As he came through the trees, she wondered whether he would know who's side she was on, after the treachery. She picked up the clan man and threw him into a nearby tree and watche as the voice came visible.

"I'm sorry, I came a bit late", she apologised knealing near the princess, "She should be okay..."

takeshi stopped by her he turned to alena
"watch my back while i get her somewhere safe"

 

Cid stopped near them.

 

Alena nodded in agreement ad stayed knealing near the princess. Her arm was still bleeding badly but she wasn't about to leave her post.

 

Mortalitas got up off the ground. "Oh, I like a girl with a little fight in her," he mutterd under his breath. He saw the group some distance away so he started going towards them.

Alena made word to her promise and watched Takeshi's back as he escorted the princess. She had become quick with her sword through the years and took out a few people easily. It wasn't until she saw the man from before, heading their way before she got worried.

 

takeshi picked natalie up and began to carry her to the castle

 

Cid took out his bow and arrow and kept it on the man, following Takeshi.

 

Nina felt the men, wondering what they were doing.

 

Noticing that Cid also had his eyes on the man, made her feel a little less vulnerable, then again, that man was cleary psychotic. Nethertheless, she ran behind Takeshi.

 

takeshi turned a corner to find a group of clan knights there
"outta my way!" he cried as he charged thru them with his sword
"and they wondered why i quit"

Some started sneaking up from behind, making Alena stop for a bit to take them out. The clan started using their brains and attempted to pick them off one by one.

 

Cid fired arrows at them, getting them before they reached him.

 

Alena managed to pick off the last few and catch up with Takeshi and Cid, but it was't long until arrows started to fall.

 

takeshi's eyes glowed red and barriers came up around them as he kept moving
"i have to PROTECT HER!"

She kept running as they neared the castle... though she lagged behind a bit before the barrier went up and was his by an arrow in the arm, she flinched a bit, but didn't stop

 

He followed close behind them.

 

Natalie awoke, crying softly, and holding onto Takeshi.
"Takeshi....they killed Euphie," she cried.
