Obliteration and Broken Hearts

Jinn didn't answer her.

Mira did the same as Jinn.

 

"Argh..." Leaning her back against a tree for support, clutching her wound, Yuzu slid to the ground. "Sh-should've seen it coming. No point following her... Sounds like she was found. DAMN IT!" She slammed her fist into the ground.

 

Euphie shook her head.
"Please," she struggled, using that word.
"Tell me why," she asked in a calm voice. She wasn't angry anymore, now that she found Natalie.

 

Jack threw jinn against the floor and stood on his back."Answer the euphie's question" he said.

 

Jinn felt the pain in his shoulder, he winced at it. "Tnhch..." He wasn't going to answer.

Mira looked at Jinn, she wanted to get up and help, but she was in pain too.

 

"Give her an answer now" he said as he pierced his other shoulder.He took out a bag of spices."This will be worse than putting salt on the wounds.Answer or more pain comes" he said calmly.

 

Jinn winced at the pain as tears came out. He couldn't take it. "Democracy..." he whispered only to himself.

 

"Please stop!" Natalie cried out to Jack. She didn't want pain on them, she felt bad enough that they were in pain.


Euphie nodded in agreement...
"I'll take you and anyone else involved, to the medical clinic" she said putting Natalie down and getting on the phone to call for a medical team..

 

Jack looked at natalie and stepped away.His sword transformed into a kane again.

 

Jinn stayed there, tears still falling. He fell asleep after not breathing for so long.

Mira looked at Jinn and crawled over to him, she held his hands in hers. She lied next to him.

 

Natalie walked over to them, and she put her hand on theirs.
"I'm sorry you two are hurt," she frowned.

Euphie got off the phone.
"A medical team is prepared, and on the way," she said, sitting down in front of them.
"Tell me about this...'democracy' plan you have. Maybe I can help you do something about it," she said. She didn't like the idea, but she didn't want the fate of Natalie to die as her parents did.

 

Mira didn't answer, she kept her mouth shut, just like Jinn taught her.

 

Jack was constantly wary of the two in front of him but he rubbed a powder into the mans two shoulders and the mended instantly.He stood back.."Euphie,natalie, keep your distance.These are the people who kidnapped you natalie and they weren't exactly to keen on giving us natalies position euphie" he said as he felt the details of the handle of his kane.

 

Natalie shook her head.
"Jinn kept me safe though. He could've killed me," she said. She looked at Mira.
"I'm not mad... but.. I can help with..democracy. I can...step down," she said. She really didn't care much about being the next queen. She only cared about the kingdom's happiness.

 

"Unlike you...we know how you work, you won't give up power so easily." Mira replied, sitting up. "Democracy is like power, we vote, we give things...and yet...no one really knows how it all works...," She sighed. "Well...," she picked Jinn up over her shoulders, under one of his arms "I guess Jinn doesn't care now, seeing as how the plan was to only take you away from here...and keep you safe at least, Natalie...but, lucky us that you and your friends stopped us." She looked at her sister and Jack, Mira looked at Mizu, who had nothing better to do now. "That's not all...Jinn and I...we were...like you two once...same thing happened too...but, that's another story." She started walking with Jinn over her shoulders, she kept her eyes on the ground, away from them.

 

Euphie coughed slightly and huffed.
"Are you even listening to what this little girl is saying!?" she asked.
"She's offering to help you, and you won't let her!?" she asked.

Natalie frowned and ran in front of them.
"I'm stepping down... Whether you want it or not," she said.

 

"And I heard you...but think about it for a moment...would you really give up your throne? For even one day?" She sighed and kept walking with Jinn.

 

"I have not been in power yet... I've only lived in the castle, and I was to start training when i turn 13... I will give it up.. Consider i'll do that when the city is safe," she said.

Euphie picked up Natalie and started heading down the trail.
"I need to get you back to the castle," she said, walking to her horse.
