Normal life? I don't think so.

"Is this your first year here?"

 

"Yeah," Helena replied. "But it's nothing I can't handle."

 

"Yeah. I just hope that interesting things start to happen soon."

 

"Oh, don't worry. Things'll probably liven up in about...oh, I'd say fifteen minutes."

 

"Why fifteen minutes?"

 

Helena shrugged. "Sounded like a good time."

 

"Oh." Said Hayden. "Nice reasoning."

 

"And yet, I've never gotten over 3.0 GPA. Weird, inn'it?"

 

"Sure is." Replied H ayden.

 

Casey was just standing there listening to them talking, thinking about some other things.

 

Helena cocked her head, noticing Casey. "Oi! Quiet kid over there! Ya wanna join the conversation?"

 

Casey snapped out o her daydream and looked at Helena "might as well" She shrugged.

 

"Hey, what's up?" Helena asked casually as Casey walked over. "You new here, too?"

 

Saxon tucked his ipod in his pack, which was currently draped over one shoulder. He ran a hand through his hair as he craned his neck up at the school. It was pretty big but he was glad for a change.

 

Hayden listened to their conversation and wondered when more people were going to get inside.

 

"Yeh" Casey said looking at Helena.

 

"Sweet, we're all new. So...none of us has a clue as to where anything is, do we?" Helena asked.

 

"No clue whatsoever." Said Hayden.

 

Helena giggled. "Neh-heh-heh...we're all screwed..." she said light-heartedly.
