But hey, there's something missing there.
"not related to KH Re:coded", "Brand new game", "not a port", "next major KH game"... alright, everything here's cool...
But is it me or is he avoiding to talk about the plot? I don't want to be suspicious, but with all the spin-offs, another one would not be satisfying.

 

i have a feeling its one of those games where they arnt 100% sure how the story is gonna play out yet..

honestly i wish they had a trailer to show and im kinda pissed its KH1 sora and riku >(

 

I think that sounds pretty promising. I'm glad it's not a port, I wouldn't really want that. The Osaka team did a great job on BBS, so I'm looking forward to this one.

 

Can we just get KH3? Please? I am getting kind of tired of all these other titles. The only one I am going to buy is BBS. :/

i agree...im kinda getting sick of these smaller handheld games..bbs is gonna be great...but i feel like they are over doing it.

 

this game is given me an idea. Think Nomura about this. This game might be a spin off, wat if kh1 and 2 were a dream.... wat if the world he is in now is a world taken over by hearless and nobodies... I'm starting to think wat possibilites are even possible... a kh1 looking game.. too young to be after kh2 and coded...

I'm not only getting tired of all those portable editions but also of seeing Sora and Riku in their KH ages & outfits. How many more games till we get the third one?! And aren't we waiting for another one to be announced?

I will get PSP to play BBS and now i have to get a 3DS just for this...? Good thing that it takes ages to make a KH game i guess...

 

... Your kidding me right? If Square Enix pulled something like that out of their asses it would obviously be last minute and sloppy "OH HEY WOULD'NT IT BE SUCH A TWIST IF THE FIRST TWO GAMES ACTUALLY NEVER HAPPENED?" Seriously the 'it was just a dream' trick only works in an episode of a show... or Wizard of Oz.

Seriously they put way too much midquels and prequels into this, I doubt they would change it after 5+ years. :/

They should make KHIII already. I seriously hope that the development has already started. I'm not waiting for more than this year for some KHIII announcements...

Super Mario Bros. 2 used that 'it was just a dream' trick. Though there wasn't much mysteries to start with.

what is the game acctually about then, hmmmmmmm why are Sora and Riku in travers town in the kh 1 style? IT'S SO CONFUSING!!

 

Kingdom Hearts 3D? A "major" title? Hell yeah.

Paves more of a likelyhood of KH3 on the Wii.


Speaking of KH3, assuming Re:Coded is one of the two games Nomura said would come before KH3, I expect it to be revealed in 2011, possibly at the E3 that year (Reggie Fils-Aime revealing Kingdom Hearts III. That would be awesome.)

 

I honestly can't wait for this..I think the 3DS will be awesome and realeasing a Kingdom Hearts game for it makes me want it that much more.

 

well Nomura did said that this game is another title and bear no resemblance with the other titles and i think its kinda cool to ploy with Riku and Sora both the old style XD

 

After looking through all the screens it says you play as Sora and Riku (KH1 Outfits) with abilities. To me, I think this game could be a possible alternate ending to KH1.

Instead of just Kairi going home, Sora and Riku jumped to the other side with her. This ruined Organization XIII's plans because Sora would now not go to Castle Oblivion. This would also make it so Xion would have never been created and Riku would never have met Diz, therefore no capture of Roxas. Thoughts?

 

This is a possible theory and I ike the chance to play with an alternate KH1 ending. Also

if this is true then KH2, CoM, Coded, and possibly KH3-depending on what that story will be-never would've happened and therefore the entire storyline could be changed through this one title. I'd love to see this theory become reality.

 

this game, i don't know what to think of it yet. i liked Sora and Riku's fighting styles better when they were younger, and it would be cool playing as Riku without the card system (which isn't that bad by the way). but i hope they get Sora's young voice back, it suits the younger Sora much better. i remember reading somewhere else that there are new worlds in this game, so i suppose that could mean it is indeed important to the story? but i wonder why Sora and Riku are in their original ages.

 

They never dumped Sora's original voice actor. It's always been the same. (Seriously, why does nobody ever remember this?) I think what you actually want is a new voice actor to dub in 14-year-old Sora's voice.

 

I just noticed that. I kinda agree that 14-year old Sora should have the voice from KH1. CoM just didn't seem to fit in my head. I asked myself how did Sora's voice change? Maybe Castle Oblivion affects your voice.
