Nomintation complaint

Okay. I'm usually not an ******* about your personal opinions and your votes. But I'm very disturbed by the amount of nominations for Mr. Calamity as best graphic artist.

If I could direct you all to the graphic sections, you will see the enormous amount of artists that deserve nominations. I'm afraid if you ALL vote for ghetto some of the best artists on the site, such as Misty, Xidon, Laplace, will not get a chance at something they deserve. So for the love of god, please reconsider your nominations. You only need 5 to get into the vote, I'm pretty sure Ghetto has more then 5 at this point. Show some love to the other artists.

I am equaly confused about why I got so many votes. I'm pretty sure I've got five or six now. But it think it's because I've made tags for a lot of these people =/

 

I went through and chose who I thought did the best to me but it doesn't mean I don't think there aren't some other incredible people out there. So yeah, if Ghetto has all the votes he needs to get nominated, perhaps now people should start choosing someone else since this isn't the final vote. It's just presenting names forward for voting.

 

Which really only makes it a biased, and rather one sided vote. =/

I mean you're a good artist, don't get me wrong, but I think people aren't giving enough credit to the others who deserve it.

 

I agree 100% with you. I can name five or six people of the top of my head that are better than me, but I'm not the only one with over fe votes. Before I noticed I had so many I saw split had 4 or 5. Go check VGN's thread, a lot of people posted thier nominations there. I know atleast one person voted for you.

But again, it won't be much of a vote if it's just you and Split for Nominees.

 

Well honestly, I didn't expect Xidon to get many votes because a lot of people seem to hate on him, and then not everyone posted thier nominations for all to see so we'll just have to wait until the actual thread, but we've still got a while so you never know what could happen.

 

I'm going for the bad boy status.



The only way I would get on that list was if they added a worst new member category.

But I agree about multiple nomination per category. Or else otherwise you might as well just count the nominations per person and then get the votes from that and post the resulits. =/

 

I actually enjoyed the amount of categories last year. It actually made the whole event feel bigger and better. Plus there was more of a chance for everyone to win.

There can never be too many categories. Since the ones cut were the ones that I really had a chance for.

Same. It gave people the false hope feeling that they could win at least one category.

And about the original complaint, I don't go into gfx so I go based off what I see about the forum. And I felt Split was the best. But there should be more than one nominee. Otherwise what's the point?

 

So using that logic, lets lower the requirements for premimum so more people have a chance of reaching it.

 

I somehow got a vote for best GFX. I think that person was high o:

 

PLUS, everyone liked the amount of categories except maybe you staffles so yeah maybe change it and stuff yeah. :B
