New Kingdom Hearts II Scan, Axel vs Roxas, and more! (Quick Edit)

It seems as though a new KH2 scan has appeared over the net. The new scan mainly features information about the Axel vs Sora battle, and the vegetable mini game which was mentioned a while ago. Here's the basic summary:

There's a new 100 Acre Wood mini-game, aptly named "Vegetable Panic", where you need to smack the vegetables as they come to you with the Keyblade. If you smack enough, you get a new card! The card is also said to be a very useful and strong technique that will be helpful in the game.

Edit: Here's some more information on the mini-game. Starting off, there's more then just one minigame in the CoM world of 100 Acre Woods. Vegetable Panic is just one of them that has been revealed in scans. There's two vegetables that you have to hit; pumpkins and cabbage. You hit the pumpkins with the circle button, and the cabbage with the square button. You have to hit 30 of these vegetables, and can only miss five.

Also, the battle against Axel seems to be taking place in the same fire ring that you fight against him in Roxas' story. Despite this, however, it is not a main story event. Just another Organization CoM battle, placed into the KH2FM+ game.

I am kind confused. You say that's a battle of Roxas and Axel but in the picture is Sora (?). I remember this minigame from the gameboy. And finally why there's a greek letter where it says Kingdom Hearts? Anyway thanks for the info.

That vegetable game looks a lot like the one that was originally in the GBA version of Chain of Memories. It looks fun. Axel also looks very hard, with all those HP bars. I wonder what they did to make him beefed up. =D

Um, maybe I'm mistaken, but items are usuable in the Axel fight, based on the scan. It's only grayed out because Sora was in a reaction command, right?

Yeah, I never considered that--memory card saves.

Too bad PS2 games are still region-coded. I could've just made a new partition on my PS3 for KH2:FM+ saves. =\

It looks like Items are still usable in that pic to me, in the pic below it though he couldn't use items because he was in a Reaction Command. I bought a separate memory card just for imported games, looks like it'll mostly just have KH1FM and KH2FM though.... tons of saves for Org battles. I wonder how you get to them?

Longevity of battles also enhances the difficulty level, in a sense.

And much like the Sephiroth battle, the Organization XIII battles will have climax points for the members--in which they gain a lot of power, say once they hit a certain point with their Health Points.

At least I'd imagine. :/

aww man...larxene was hard and cheap enough in CoM..now she'll be about
15X as tough....she's gonna paralyze you, hit you 5000 times in a row before you recover, and repeat....
